“Jade is great! She is very thorough and does a great job taking care of my dog Roscoe when I am gone. I love getting message updates and pics of my doggie through Rover, Jade provides both without me asking! She is great at updating and has amazing availability.”
“Alona is amazing! She comes and takes care of my 11-year-old cat for me while I leave town to make sure that he's got company food water and of course during this hot weather the AC is running for him. I've been using her for a couple months now and absolutely would recommend her to friends and family”
“Donna is amazingly knowledgeable about dogs and our pup always is happy and smiling in the photos she sends. Donna goes a great job of mixing up the activities on her visits and we will absolutely use her again.”
“We have just started working with Ricky and we already are so amazed with his attention to detail, willingness to go above and beyond to make sure things are done well and taken care of, and his ability to engage and play with our pups during these visits. We have two very energetic dogs and they’ve already accepted him as one of the pack and we believe that’s because he treats them like one of his own pets. Overall, Ricky has been responsible, reliable, adaptable and willing to meet on short notice and take on our dogs as a challenge in such a little amount of time. We are so grateful to continue having him come visit and play with Spud and Remi, and would recommend Rick to anyone in the area in need of a pet sitter.”
“Megan is such a great communicator. She was flexible with my scheduling needs. Megan did everything I ask her too, including cleaning up my puppies messes. The puppies seem very happy with their new sitter”
“Bryton is a responsible and reliable pet caregiver. He is loving, gentle and knowledgeable with all animals and provides outstanding care in his work with pets. I have been impressed with his work ethic and his ability to take on anything with ease and excellence in his work.”
About: I have taken care of plenty of big dogs. My own dog was very stubborn and strong for most of her life, so I developed lots of patience working with her. She didn't get along well with most people and other dogs, so I learned techniques on our walks to stop her from getting too close to another curious dog. In her old age she became docile and ill, so I would also say I can take care of older dogs with additional needs. My schedule is currently wide open since I am inbetween jobs, so I can easily help with morning, afternoon, and evening pet care any day of the week. If my schedule changes, I will be sure to update my account details. The pet(s) are always the priority, and they get my attention before anything else does. This means tentative walks, playtime, meals (depending on meal schedule), and downtime when the pet demonstrates a need or desire for it.
“Meghan has watched my dog for me a few times & it’s always been a wonderful experience. She has always been very thorough, always follows through and keeps me updated. My dog is absolutely in love with her and gets sooo excited each time she sees her. I cannot recommend Meghan enough! No one else is trust more with my fur baby.”
“Wes did a great job with my 2 cats! He sent a message each visit and sent photos. I felt very at ease leaving my fur kids home while out of town.”
“I have known Cindy for 12+ years. We met during a dog event and volunteered for the dog rescues in our area. We both branched out and started our own rescues. Cindy loves her pets, home cooked meals, special treats and the dogs always come first. She will take care of your pets as her own. Trustworthy, kind and would do anything for animals. Highly recommend!”
“Emily is amazing with animals! She has her own dogs and kitties that she takes amazing care of. My dog Dora absolutely loves her. She’s always on time and been an absolute pleasure to work with!”
About: I’ve worked with foster/rescue dogs for 12 years, and my family has helped to rehabilitate and re-home over 200 dogs! I’ve worked with dogs of all sizes and have four of my own at home! I really miss my dogs and would love to spend some time with yours :) I currently work part-time at the Salem Health Hospital. When I’m not working there, I am free to hang out with your pup! I work some funky hours, but will be completely up front on my availability for that day ahead of time! I have lots of experience with different dog breeds and am very adaptable to how you’d like your dog to be cared for! If your dog is very active, likes their food prepared a certain way, has a favorite toy, etc., just let me know and I am more than happy to accommodate :)
“She is a very trustworthy person and has petsat for me before. She’s great with both dogs and cats and knows how to handle them and keep them safe. I would have zero worry about her being able to keep them happy and loved while their owner is gone. She is also an incredible clean person so no harm would ever come to the animal by getting into something it shouldn’t. She also will clean up after herself incredibly well if she visits someone else’s house to pet sit. Working from home has allowed her to have more time on her hands for animals and this would be a great idea for her.”
“Kelly adores animals of all kinds. She has had many pets over the years and has treated them with great care and love; they have been members of the family. She is reliable, conscientious, and compassionate.”
“Payton is one of the most caring and compassionate animal lovers I know! My two cats and dog are always taken care of, and treated with so much love and enthusiasm. I never worry about them while I’m away, because I know that they enjoy having her around to give them heaps of attention!”
“I highly recommend Wesley as a dog walker or sitter. He walked and boarded my dog multiple times before he joined Rover, and my girl always came home happy and tired. She made very fast friends with his dog, Benji, and now she gets so excited whenever they can be together. I have known Wes for 8 years. Benji was anxious when Wes first rescued him, but he has grown into a happy and confident dog due to Wes' patience and care. Wes is great at reading a dog's body language and is able to adjust his mannerisms to help them be at ease. He is also one of the cleanest people I've ever met, so you can rest assured that your dog will be staying in a tidy home with plenty of space to play. As an added bonus, Wes' wife Sara is a huge dog lover, so your pooch will get extra love and attention during their stay. There is no one that I would trust to watch my dog more than Wes and Sara.”

“Katrina did a wonderful job taking care of our cat. (And fish). She spent time playing, petting, brushing and cuddling. As a matter of fact, I think the cat was kind of put out that I came home and Katrina didn’t come over to play with her. I definitely recommend her and will book with her again.”
“Cameron did an amazing job watching after our pet cat while on a trip. She spent a ton of time with her and provided us with updates and a ton of pictures. I am sure we will book her again for future trips!!!”
“She had watched our cats twice now for extended lengths of time and is amazing. Not only is she personal and makes you feel confident before hand, but also punctual and knows how to work with cats with differing personalities (one of mine can be a handful and cranky). Will certainly be contacting her when needed again.”
