Whether it’s a quick check-in, a midday feeding, or administering medicine, I treat every home and loved one with the utmost respect and empathy. We live in a tiny home, so we spend a lot of time on walks or playing in the park but at home Callie is usually curled up next to us or playing with her companion we may have over. Large backyard on a quiet street; lots of room for walks to local parks or fetch in the yard. House is stair free for elderly or dogs with medical restrictions. Adaptable to any situation as needed!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs(my own) and others since I was 10. Recently adopted a 3 year old Malinois mix who is a sweetie and really good with other dogs. Since then I have interacted with a bunch of dogs and learned a lot. Our Malinois is trained and loves all types of dogs. We have taught her some tricks so maybe I can teach your dog some too 😎. I’m currently not working so your dog would be my primary job. I can take them to parks, on hikes or whatever requests are given I deeply respect every individual pet and their specific needs. Whether it’s taking them to the park or taking a nice stroll on the neighborhood so they have enough time to smell every plant, I take great care in every aspect of your pet’s stay/care with me. I live in an apartment, with plentiful grassy areas and park nearby, but also don’t mind going to a client’s house. About: I have had a number of dogs, snakes, and other animals throughout the years. Since I’m on a long sabbatical from work, my schedule is wide open, and I would love to offer my time and space to take care of your animal. I typically walk 5-6 miles a day and love taking dogs with me. I’m currently on a sabbatical from work as a professor so my schedule is wide open for the next 6 to 9 months. I will build my schedule around my teenage children who help when I have multiple bookings, frequent walks/trips to the gym, and pet responsibilities. I have lots of time and space to cater to your animal and their needs. I treat the dogs like family pets and let them roam the house. I don’t use crates unless the client prefers it that way. I have a fenced backyard and a love for taking walks or hikes. There are stairs to get into my home since I am in the West Salem hills. I do have dog toys, beds, and a crate from previous dogs. I will take dogs to minto brown, river front or walk around West Salem.

I have over 20 years experience caring for animals, from my own pets, 5+ years of experience as a professional pet sitter, working with police K-9's and I'm also a certified dog trainer (positive reinforcement.) I am available for drop in visits from 8 am-11 am 7 days a week and dog walks Monday-Friday from 11 am-2 pm. Please note: this does not include any doors that are closed when I arrive. As a way to protect your privacy, if any doors are closed when I arrive they will stay closed. I can check mail if you request me to do so. If you receive any packages on your doorstep while you're away, I will bring in any packages that are addressed to you and leave them on a counter. Every visit includes a Rover report card with photos. I do require a consultation or meet and greet ahead of any planned stay. I prefer to meet at your residence so you can ensure your pet warms up to me, that you're comfortable with me caring for your pets while you're away and so you can show me daily care for your pets, including food location, how much food they get, location of any and all pet supplies including a pet carrier and/or leashes. If you'd prefer to meet away from your residence, we can schedule that first, however I do require one meet and greet at your residence.
About: I have been taking care of animals since I was 8 but began house sitting when I turned 16. I have experienced taking care of dogs, cats , horses and even chickens. while looking after your fur babies they will be given excellent care as if they were my own. A love to photograph animals so with my care come a free mini photoshoot. With your permission of course! My 4 year old black lab absolutely loves to play with others. So if your pup needs a buddy to burn off some energy she’s your pup . I work 3 pm to 11:30pm but I’m free the rest of the time to do pop in or walks. If I’m staying at your house I bring in my own food and drink. And stay with your fur baby the whole time. If I’m in home sitting I do a minimum of 3 30 min walks a day. 1 before work ,after work and before bed. And depending on your fur babies energy I’ll add in extra play time if needed. I’m stuck to strictly feeding schedules so whatever time you have them eat I’ll make sure to do they same. To help keep them in their normal routine. If I’m doing a drop in I can go walks /runs for about an hour unless you need me to take them for more time.

Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
