About: I have had a number of dogs, snakes, and other animals throughout the years. Since I’m on a long sabbatical from work, my schedule is wide open, and I would love to offer my time and space to take care of your animal. I typically walk 5-6 miles a day and love taking dogs with me. I’m currently on a sabbatical from work as a professor so my schedule is wide open for the next 6 to 9 months. I will build my schedule around my teenage children who help when I have multiple bookings, frequent walks/trips to the gym, and pet responsibilities. I have lots of time and space to cater to your animal and their needs. I treat the dogs like family pets and let them roam the house. I don’t use crates unless the client prefers it that way. I have a fenced backyard and a love for taking walks or hikes. There are stairs to get into my home since I am in the West Salem hills. I do have dog toys, beds, and a crate from previous dogs. I will take dogs to minto brown, river front or walk around West Salem.
About: I have been taking care of animals since I was 8 but began house sitting when I turned 16. I have experienced taking care of dogs, cats , horses and even chickens. while looking after your fur babies they will be given excellent care as if they were my own. A love to photograph animals so with my care come a free mini photoshoot. With your permission of course! My 4 year old black lab absolutely loves to play with others. So if your pup needs a buddy to burn off some energy she’s your pup . I work 3 pm to 11:30pm but I’m free the rest of the time to do pop in or walks. If I’m staying at your house I bring in my own food and drink. And stay with your fur baby the whole time. If I’m in home sitting I do a minimum of 3 30 min walks a day. 1 before work ,after work and before bed. And depending on your fur babies energy I’ll add in extra play time if needed. I’m stuck to strictly feeding schedules so whatever time you have them eat I’ll make sure to do they same. To help keep them in their normal routine. If I’m doing a drop in I can go walks /runs for about an hour unless you need me to take them for more time.

About: I have fostered on and off with Hope’s Haven for years now and I am no stranger to puppies and seniors alike. I have dog sat since I was 14. I’m a college student at Chemeketa and would love to spend the time I am not studying getting my exercise in by getting out a dog’s energy. I have a cat, two rabbits, and a standard poodle at home. I know a lot about keeping peace and making sure everyone has their needs met.
“If I could give 10 stars I would. I’m new to the area and having an anxious dog going through some major changes has been challenging. The first night Mickenzie came over to let him out, Beanie wouldn’t let her touch him and growled the whole time. He wouldn’t even eat a treat that she left in front of him on the couch! Mickenzie was gentle, patient, and communicative through the entire process. The following day she agreed to come out on her own time to meet beanie with me and let him get more acquainted in a safe space with mom. She was kind and understanding even as he barked and growled at her throughout the visit. That night she came back to try again. She took her time, was able to connect, Beanie let her pet him, pick him up, and put a harness on. She was able to let him out to the bathroom and get him back in without any issue other than the time and patience it took from her. Mickenzie is excellent. I HIGHLY recommend her especially for those who are anxious leaving their babies in the care of someone they don’t know. I’m so grateful and will continue to use her as often as possible. About: I've lived my whole life around pets, specifically cats and dogs. My family and friends alike all relied on me for pet sitting care which included regular dog walking and extended, overnight stays. I'm currently not working and only going to school. When I do get a job, it will only be part-time and I'll update my schedule accordingly. As of right now, I have ample time for frequent check-in's and overnight stays, especially in Yamhill County. I unfortunately do not offer pet care at my personal home, but am willing to stay overnight at client's homes. I believe in leaving places better than I found them, AKA no trace left behind!
About: I've taken care of many animals in my life. Dogs, cats, lizards, birds, fish, and a large list of dog breeds/sizes all 25 years I've been alive. I've also been training dogs since I was young. sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
