“This was my time using Rover and David made it a great experience. He came by to meet Isabelle and see the job to make sure we were both comfortable. He answered some questions about how Rover works. I was mid-flight when he arrived and he reached out to me to let me know how Isabelle was doing. And he was very prompt in responding when I asked for updates.”

“Molly did a wonderful job staying with our kiddos. She spent a lot of time with them which is exactly what we wanted. She kept us up to date with their appetites, energy levels and schedules. She was comfortable with them from day 1 and was sure to give them lots of love and snuggles. Thank you, Molly!”

“Had a wonderful experience with Rachel. Kindly offered an initial meet + greet. Pups and house appeared well maintained upon our return. We received some regular updates throughout the stay. Grateful for her help and would absolutely book again.”

“Chris was great taking care of our two pups while we were gone for the weekend. The house was is perfect shape and he was communicative throughout the process. Highly recommend him to watch your fur babies!”

“Alyssa cared for our cat, Mocha, for two days and stayed overnight at our home. This was our first time leaving Mocha for an extended period and using a cat sitter, so we were a little nervous but Alyssa put our minds at ease. It was clear that Mocha was comfortable with her—she continued eating, playing, and sleeping normally throughout the weekend. She even seemed to enjoy some in-depth conversations with Alyssa! We received regular updates and photos, which helped us feel connected and reassured while we were away. Alyssa also left our home neat and tidy. Overall, she did a fantastic job caring for both Mocha and our house. We would book with Alyssa again and recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter.”

“McKenna was amazing! This was my first time leaving my pups home for the weekend and having someone come house sit. McKenna helped put my mind at ease when we did the meet and greet. One of my pups left an unexpected surprise (my pup threw a tantrum and destroyed a furniture) for McKenna and she was so nice and cleaned it up for me. I came home to happy pups and I would recommend her. I’d have her back!”

“Thank you Phillip so much for coming and staying and housesitting with my two dogs lolly and Putter. You gave them excellent care took care of my household and everything looked beautiful When I got home. You kept in touch with me sending me pictures. You’re the best and I will absolutely request you again. Thank you so much. I so appreciate you.”

“Christy was great with our dogs, and I really appreciated the level of communication and pictures. Very responsive and reliable, and had availability to help over the holidays.”

“We so greatly appreciate Cassandra! Our pup was in good hands and we received nearly daily pictures - you could see that he was doing well (not just be told he was ok). It made our travels and being away so much easier and with less guilt. Cassandra is now one of our pups favorite people and our house was cleaner when we came home than when we left - an unexpected bonus! Thank you, so much Cassandra!! We appreciate your care, thoughtfulness, attention and dedication to our Moki! Thank you!”

“Ryessa was wonderful with our dog, Minion, and our cat, Creature. She was communicative, responsive, and kept us updated throughout the stay with messages and photos, which gave us great peace of mind while we were away. She was easy to work with, took excellent care of our pets and home, and made the entire experience stress-free. We really appreciated her reliability and clear communication. We would happily book with her again and would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and attentive pet sitter!”

“It was awesome meeting Leanna, and I felt totally at ease leaving my pup in her care over Labor Day weekend. If I could give 6 stars, I would. Super professional, super responsive—any time I reached out, she got back to me within minutes, which really gave me peace of mind. This was my first time using Rover, and thanks to Leanna, it was a great experience. I’d happily recommend her to friends and family. 10/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Great communication. Thank you for putting my girl number one and the pics and communication while I was gone. I felt like my dog was in the best hands and I was able to relax knowing my dog was cared for.”

“McKenzie, was fabulous! We came home to very happy pups, and the house was spotless. We received many pictures and updates which helped us enjoy our vacation. We have already booked her again!!”

“Natalya was very friendly, communicative, and took good care of the pets and house. I really appreciated her picture updates, and she even took my dog on an extra trip to the park! Would definitely re-book”

About: Hi everyone! I am a recent law school graduate who is currently studying for the bar exam. You're not supposed to "work" during bar prep, but life is expensive, and I needed to find a way to make money for food and rent while I study. The nice part about studying is that I am available 24/7, around the clock. As long as I have wifi, I can study anywhere, and I can take a break every 1.5-2 hours to walk dogs, check in on pets, play fetch, etc. As for my history, I grew up with dogs and cats. We had german shepherds when I was a kid, and a few indoor cats as well. I have volunteered for multiple different animal rescues in Oregon- ranging from farm sanctuaries to foster based rescue programs, where I fostered 11 different dogs and puppies over the course of 6 months and got them all adopted into good homes! I have watched all types of animals for friends and family- including older pets, pets who need medication, pets with epilepsy, etc. Please reach out to me! I would love to meet your pets and help out in any way I can! I am currently not working while I study for the Oregon bar exam. This means I am free 24/7 and super flexible! I can house sit, drop-in, do daily walks, or anything else you may need. I respect my clients' homes, keep pets on a regular schedule, and ensure they receive companionship, exercise, and attentive care while their owners are away. I use secure leashing practices, monitor surroundings carefully during walks, and provide exercise, enrichment, feeding, medication administration (if needed), and detailed visit updates and photos!

About: What sets me apart is that I treat pets like family, not just a checklist. I pay close attention to their routines, personalities, comfort levels, and little quirks, whether that means giving a shy cat space, keeping a playful pet engaged, or sending updates so you feel reassured while you’re gone. While most of my experience is with cats, I’m also open to caring for dogs and have watched dogs in the past. I’m reliable, communicative, and genuinely care about making your pets feel safe, loved, and comfortable in their own home. Pet sitting is my full-time work, so my days really are built around caring for animals and showing up for them consistently. I love that I get to spend my time helping pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their people are away. Since this is my main focus, I’m able to be thoughtful and flexible with each pet’s routine. Some pets want playtime and attention, some need a calm presence and a little patience, and some just want their meals on time and their space respected. I try to meet each pet where they are and keep their day feeling as normal and stress-free as possible. I also have my own cat, Mango, so I know how much the little details matter. I bring that same care into every visit, whether I’m checking in on cats, caring for dogs, sending updates, or just helping your pets and home feel settled while you’re gone I’m very respectful of both your pet and your home. I make sure doors, gates, windows, food, and supplies are handled carefully, and I pay attention to the little things that help prevent stress or accidents. I also like to send updates and photos so you feel comfortable knowing how your pet is doing while you’re away. My goal is to keep your pet’s routine as normal as possible and help them feel secure in their own space. Whether your pet is social, shy, playful, or more independent, I’ll meet them where they are and give them care that feels patient, gentle, and trustworthy.

“Justin did an excellent job with our dog Marley he stayed in our home for nearly a week. When we returned everything was as we left it He took the garbage out and fed the fish which was a real plus for us. We received daily photos of our dog enjoying himself which made our trip more enjoyable My wife Patti and I would not hesitate in rehiring Justin and we recommend him to anyone in need of someone to stand by when you can't be there yourself”

FAQs for House Sitting - Rickreall
Frequently asked questions about Rover
The average cost for House Sitting in Rickreall on Rover is $21.4 per night (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.
Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .
As of July 2026, there are 674 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Rickreall. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Rickreall walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Rickreall maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Rickreall choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Rickreall. On Rover:
- 98% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 98% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 87% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
