“My dogs immediately took to Kelsey - which is maybe the strongest recommendation one can receive. She is knowledgeable, professional, and compassionate. I feel confident having her care for my dogs.”

“Communicative in the ways we had asked, took the photos we hoped for, and have us the results we asked for. She was great to meet, friendly and made sure to ask any questions she felt she needed to. 👍👍👍”

“George did a great job walking Dobie while I was having a shoulder issue. He managed Dobie's interactions with other people and dogs on the trails perfectly. In the future, I will definitely ask him to help me out when I'm away and Dobie needs exercise. Thanks George!”

About: I have spent all my life around animals, especially dogs. Much of it involved going with my aunt who is a professional dog trainer, to do flyball and agility activities. I also spent nearly 2 years working for a local doggy daycare and boarding business before it closed. I absolutely love animals, and will ensure your pet feels safe and has the best time with me! I am currently available for drop in visits all days of the week except for Fridays (though sometimes I will be able to, will show on calendar if it is available). Whenever Fridays are available, my hours will be before 11am and after 4pm. Otherwise, I will be available… • Sunday-Wednesday before 11am and after 8pm • Thursdays before 8am and after 5pm • Saturdays before 11am and after 4pm. In terms of house sitting, I am available all days of the week but can only stay overnight if requested by the owner. Dog Walking availability will be the same as drop in visits. I will care for your pet in your home by making sure they are fed and let out on your schedule. And, by your consent, I’m happy to bring over toys and make treats and puzzles for your dog to play with if I am pet-sitting them. I also offer dog-walking services, whether that is paired with pet-sitting or simply the service itself.

About: I’ve always had a large variety of pets my whole life and am always super excited to meet new animals and their unique personalities I work part time, and most of my shifts will be done by 2pm, leaving much of the afternoon and evening for visits with pets I am reliable, attentive, and good at providing personalized pet care in clients’ homes. I follow feeding schedules, am able to administer medication if instructed, and ensure pets feel comfortable and safe in familiar surroundings. I love playing with pets, and giving plenty of affection. I maintain a clean environment and can keep owners updated with photos and messages for peace of mind.
“Isa was great with my dog. She went above and beyond to ensure he was taken care of while I was out of town. Isa communicated a lot and always send updates about walks and how my dog was doing alongside cute images. She made sure that he got attention and even read him stories! I will definitely have Isa watch him again when needed, she is a very trustworthy and wonderful sitter.”

About: I’m a Zoology student at OSU and I’ve previously worked for a doggy day-care. I love pets and have always had them in my home! I have experience pet-sitting and often have repeat clients :) I’m a full time college student but I have lots of free time and. I can make my schedule flexible for you! I’m available in the evenings and early mornings. I try my best to reduce anxiety in the pets under my care by following their regular routines as close as I can and giving them extra love while their owner is away!
About: I've lived with my dog, Avery, for about 10 years back home, have cared for family friends' dogs when needed, have participated in fetch-a-friend multiple times with Heartland Humane Shelter, and I am very comfortable around cats as well. I can provide a very active few days running or walking for your pets, or I can keep them homely company while you are away. Since I have a car, if desired, I can take your pets to the park or just on short car rides. If your pets have any medications required, or specific eating/dosage times, I will make sure to set alarms to stay on time and dependable. My main job right now is DoorDash, so any time you need me to be available is free. My schedule can allow for week-long petcare, if needed, or just a short walk :3 I try my best to be friendly, understanding, and patient with any pets I interact with; if a pet is trying to tell me something, I will pay my best attention! Additionally, if a pet needs some space while adjusting to me or the lack of usual people around, I can provide that space while still keeping an eye on them.

Through animal sanctuaries as well as school related animal activities, I have always made an effort to make my love and care for them known. I’m currently working part-time overnight and am looking for a way to have a more passive workflow that I can control when school starts up again! When it does, I’ll work around my class schedule. Through awareness, effective communication, and a wholistic understanding of a pet’s needs, I can alter my own personal environment or enter another cautiously to make any pets comfortable! Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Corvallis
George put our poochea at ease right away and listened to all our rambling about their habits and needs. He took everything seriously, including some health stuff, and communicates excellently about the walks. Also sends us great photos. And he's just overall very pleasant to be around!

Jemma was great with Bosco. She came to meet us at a nearby dog park to get comfortable with our pup, and was very patient with him when coming by for walks. We appreciate her taking the time to get to know Bosco's demeanor and he was happy and well-exercised afterwards. We would recommend Jemma to anyone looking for care for their pups.

Isa is a wonderful dog sitter, and we would not hesitate to welcome her back to our home! She was easy to communicate with during four visits to walk our rescue dog Rosie. During their first visit, Rosie was nervous and Isa went above and beyond to comfort her. Each day after, Isa did a great job working to build Rosie's confidence, and making sure she had good visits and adventures around the neighborhood. Isa is kind-hearted and great with animals. Her communication each day with excellent also.

Brent did an amazing job walking my dog! This was my first time using a dog walking app, but he exceeded my expectations! He sent me updates with pictures while on the walk and he paid attention to what my dog needed while out. She really enjoyed being walked by him and we will definitely be booking him again! I would recommend him for dog walking of any size dog.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
