“Jeff was fantastic with the Whippets, always went above and beyond the time limit of the daily walks. Much appreciate the help during the two weeks vacation, it was very comforting not to worry about the dogs. Thank you!”

“George was wonderful! He is straightforward, trustworthy & very kind. He provided pictures and updates each day, so we felt at ease knowing that our dog was in good hands during their walks — thank you, George!!”

“My dogs immediately took to Kelsey - which is maybe the strongest recommendation one can receive. She is knowledgeable, professional, and compassionate. I feel confident having her care for my dogs.”

“Nicole and her son have been absolutely wonderful. I cannot speak highly enough of them. I have a very anxious dog, and Nicole has been so patient, persistent, loving, and kind throughout the entire process. She is always prompt, sends pictures, keeps me updated, and even works with my other puppy on behavior. I highly, highly recommend her to anyone looking for reliable, honest, trustworthy, and exceptional pet care.”

About: I have had a few dogs growing up and aware of their needs and how to care for them. 🐶🐾 In my neighborhood, I would help dog-sit and had a frequent client whose dog I watched in my neighborhood. I am currently a full-time college student who doesn't have a car on campus, so I walk or take the bus everywhere! My schedule on Mondays and Wednesdays for classes is 12-2 and 4-6, and on Tuesdays and Thursdays my schedule for classes is 10-12 and 12-2! I will take loving care of all animals and pets, and I absolutely adore every one of them. I know how to administer walks, will feed them as instructed, and will play with them and give snuggles to ensure their happiness!
About: I have hands-on experience caring for dogs of all sizes, ages, energy levels, and personalities! I have personally helped with feeding, potty breaks, bathing, playtime, and giving lots of love and attention! More recently, I have helped care for an energetic Australian Shepherd and a senior Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever, adapting my care to each dog's individual needs and personality. I make sure all types of dogs feel safe, happy, and well cared for. I am currently a college student at home for the summer, so I have plenty of free time in my daily schedule to play with your pups! My schedule is very flexible, and I have lots of availability for walks, drop-in visits, playtime, and giving pets the attention and care they need. I do not currently offer pet care services in my own home. I prefer to care for pets in their own homes, where they are already familiar with their surroundings and feel safest and most comfortable. I will follow each pet's usual routine and their owner's instructions closely, while providing plenty of supervision. I want every pet and their owner to feel secure, relaxed, and well cared for.
About: My four fur babies are my life, and I know how important your pets are to you. I take pride in providing excellent care and treating your pets as my own — making sure their lives are enriched, they’re safe, and well cared for while you’re away. I have experience with puppy-care and have taken puppy training courses. I also am familiar with how to administer oral medication to cats and dogs. My cats are indoor only, and I’m very cautious of pets who might be prone to escape routes. I am experienced with senior pet care. I prioritize pet care throughout the day. I make sure that my cats get daily enrichment, and I believe enrichment is an important part of pet care. I provide a calming environment to animals through presence and proper attention. I will not provide care in my home because I have 4 cats at my home.
About: I have had dogs my whole life and have experience in senior and puppy care. I love dogs and have cared for ones of all sizes. I’m currently volunteering so I’ll have plenty of free days and weekends to watch and care for animals. My days are fairly free and I’m open for last second bookings. I have experience in crate training two dogs while providing them with a safe and comfortable experience. I also have a safe fenced yard with two friendly dogs.
“Isa was great with my dog. She went above and beyond to ensure he was taken care of while I was out of town. Isa communicated a lot and always send updates about walks and how my dog was doing alongside cute images. She made sure that he got attention and even read him stories! I will definitely have Isa watch him again when needed, she is a very trustworthy and wonderful sitter.”

About: Hi my name is Josh. I am 28 years old and just relocated to the Pacific North West for school. I have always had dogs growing up and love all their different personalities. I believe a dog needs time outside to be happy and healthy and I am excited for the opportunity to give that to some deserving puppers! I have engaged with dogs of all different sizes and breeds. I love going on walks and playing. I also love hiking and would be more than happy to take a dog to a trail if the owner permits. I also am available to house sit or do house calls if needed. I am confident that your dog will be in great hands with me. Thanks!
About: I have had pets my entire life. Some of the pets I have had included dogs, cats, bunnies, lizards, fish and more! I have had a lot of experience taking care of my family members and friends pets. I have also learned a lot of skills from a trained dog care professional. I am at home almost all of the time so I can spend plenty of time with any pets that I am watching, I can watch pets any day of the week and will take dogs on daily walks. I have a fenced back yard so dogs can spend plenty of time in the sun. I also will take dogs on daily walks and play with them plenty. About: I have spent all my life around animals, especially dogs. Much of it involved going with my aunt who is a professional dog trainer, to do flyball and agility activities. I also spent nearly 2 years working for a local doggy daycare and boarding business before it closed. I absolutely love animals, and will ensure your pet feels safe and has the best time with me! I am currently available for drop in visits all days of the week except for Fridays (though sometimes I will be able to, will show on calendar if it is available). Whenever Fridays are available, my hours will be before 11am and after 4pm. In terms of house sitting, I am available all days of the week but can only stay overnight if requested by the owner. Dog Walking availability will be the same as drop in visits. I will care for your pet in your home by making sure they are fed and let out on your schedule. And, by your consent, I’m happy to bring over toys and make treats and puzzles for your dog to play with if I am pet-sitting them. I also offer dog-walking services, whether that is paired with pet-sitting or simply the service itself.
About: Growing up, I have always had pet dogs and I have always loved dogs so much. Since I was around 13 I started dog and house sitting for a lot of my family friends, and have taken care of multiple different types dogs. I am currently a full time student, but have a lot of space in my schedule to be able spend lots of time with your pets if needed! I can board your pets most days as well. I am currently living in a town home with three other roommates who are some of my very close friends. We are always in and out of the house due to classes, but your pet shouldn’t be alone in the house hardly ever. Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Corvallis
Nicole has been walking one of our elder dogs for a couple weeks. We have three dogs, and it’s so comforting to know that our dog is getting such caring one-on-one attention from Nicole. She’s reliable, easy to communicate with, and does a wonderful job with our dog.

I highly recommend Genevieve based on our first visit. She arrived on time, our dog was excited to see her which, to me, means she has good energy. She cleaned up our dogs poop yard and she played a little chuck-it before she left. We couldn't have asked for a more.

Jemma was great with Bosco. She came to meet us at a nearby dog park to get comfortable with our pup, and was very patient with him when coming by for walks. We appreciate her taking the time to get to know Bosco's demeanor and he was happy and well-exercised afterwards. We would recommend Jemma to anyone looking for care for their pups.

Isa is a wonderful dog sitter, and we would not hesitate to welcome her back to our home! She was easy to communicate with during four visits to walk our rescue dog Rosie. During their first visit, Rosie was nervous and Isa went above and beyond to comfort her. Each day after, Isa did a great job working to build Rosie's confidence, and making sure she had good visits and adventures around the neighborhood. Isa is kind-hearted and great with animals. Her communication each day with excellent also.

Brent did an amazing job walking my dog! This was my first time using a dog walking app, but he exceeded my expectations! He sent me updates with pictures while on the walk and he paid attention to what my dog needed while out. She really enjoyed being walked by him and we will definitely be booking him again! I would recommend him for dog walking of any size dog.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
