“Whitney was punctual, reliable, and conscientious. Our experience was hassle free and I was able to rest easy while away from home, knowing Sonny was in capable hands.”

About: As a dog walker and sitter with a variety of experience, including caring for puppies, I offer trusted and loving care. I genuinely miss my own dogs while in college, making me committed to providing a home-like environment. Additionally, as a seasoned cat mom for 5 years, I bring a unique understanding and care for feline friends. I am always willing to learn more about others pets and how I can provide the best care! Currently, since I am in college and holding up another job I have less time during the day. I almost always have weekends off and will always be honest about what I can handle when it comes to your pets care. We can make arrangements to accommodate either before or after my work hours. I am dedicated to ensuring your pet's well-being by incorporating daily feeding, exercise, playtime, and attention into my routine. With my availability and commitment to excellent pet care, I can meet your furry friend's needs effectively. When caring for pets in client homes, I prioritize safety, trust, and comfort. I provide reliable care, follow routines, ensure security, maintain communication, and respect privacy.
About: There’s nothing greater than making a new furry best friend. Caring for and earning the trust of animals is the most rewarding experience. I’ve been a lifelong pet owner, as well as walked and sat pets for friends and family for 10 years. Animals are one of my passions, and I hope I can share the love! I’m fortunate enough to have the opportunity to pet sit full-time. This ensures I’m able to give my undivided attention to the loved ones in my care. Any pet that I come across is treated as my own. I understand that they have a spectrum of personalities and needs. I’m willing to put in the extra effort to make any animal feel safe and cared for, while respecting the boundaries of the pet, and owners.
“Isa was great with my dog. She went above and beyond to ensure he was taken care of while I was out of town. Isa communicated a lot and always send updates about walks and how my dog was doing alongside cute images. She made sure that he got attention and even read him stories! I will definitely have Isa watch him again when needed, she is a very trustworthy and wonderful sitter.”

About: I've personally had cats, dogs, fish, reptiles, and amphibians since I was a young child. I currently home a sassy Cat, and Leopard Gecko(: I also help my parents take care of our families' dog (Doberman/Lab mix) and cat. I have experience working as a volunteer at a Shelter, Intern Zookeeper, Wildlife Rehabilitator, Pet Care Specialist, and Associate Dog Groomer (~4 years experience). I have also worked extensively in Wildlife Ecology for the past 6 years, working with and handling every taxa of animal. I recently obtained my Master's degree in Wildlife Ecology at Iowa State University and am currently pursuing my Doctoral degree at OSU in the same field! I am free most Afternoons and Weekends, but accommodations can be made to check in early in the morning or occasionally through the day as well! When it comes to house sitting - I am unavailable to stay all day everyday on weekdays, but can make accommodations to be there frequently during the day. It might be easier to book multiple drop-ins for this if you’d prefer. On weekends I am available to stay all day/evenings! I am highly trained by both private and public institutions in the handling, care, and research of a variety of domestic, exotic, and wild animals; so no pup or cat is too extra for me!
“George did a great job walking Dobie while I was having a shoulder issue. He managed Dobie's interactions with other people and dogs on the trails perfectly. In the future, I will definitely ask him to help me out when I'm away and Dobie needs exercise. Thanks George!”

About: I’ve lived with animals my whole life. My father is a veterinarian and runs a vet clinic, and we’ve had animals in the house since I was born, so I’ve had plenty of experience taking care of dogs and cats since I was a kid. I’ve learned how to look after animals from taking care of my family’s and friend’s pets, and I have a veterinarian on call if anything were to go wrong. :) I am currently in the process of looking for a full-time or part-time job, so for the time being I am very available to watch after and take care of your pet. I will take care to listen to any and all specific care instructions you may have for your pet. I love playing with animals and taking them for walks, so if you have an active pet I will be happy to engage with them. My father is also a practicing veterinarian, so if anything were to go wrong I can call him to help sort out what to do.
“On time. She is patient and able to redirect my reactive small dogs with treats and/or a squeaky toy. She goes above and beyond by helping me to continue to train my dogs not to react while on their walks.”

I am well trained in dealing with emergency, animal nutrition, can trim nails and do basic grooming of pets as well! I am very flexible and am able to juggling my responsibility as needed. I do work as a veterinary assistant but I have a set schedule that allows me to be work another job. I have a create if needed. I have cat and dog proofed my home. I have a quiet room for birds and rodents if need be that away from the fur babies. I leash walk dogs only. I am willing to leash walk cats but only by request. I live by the Jackson Frazier Wet lands so walking dogs there is always a nice walk for them and me.

About: I bond easily with cats and dogs. I am gentle, patient and give 100% to all the fur babies in my care. I enjoy entertaining and caring for these special critters. While with me, I am observant and provide the kind of interaction the pet wants. This could be anything from a massage to hiking and play at a beach with a variety of toys. I always want your pet to feel warm and welcome. I believe walking is the best medicine, so I’m game to go out no matter the weather. I don’t feed people food to them but am happy to give appropriate treats and lots of praise. I have been taking care dogs for 15 years. Dogs are considered my family bond
About: Growing up, my family fostered more than 10 dogs, giving me experience with dogs of many breeds, personalities, and care needs. Combined with over 10 years of caring for animals, this taught me the patience, consistency, and attention every pet deserves. Hi! I'm Jaedyn, and animals have been a big part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my family fostered more than 10 dogs, and I loved helping care for them. Being around so many different breeds, personalities, and energy levels taught me that every pet is unique and deserves patience, consistency, and individualized care. Beyond dogs and cats, I also have years of experience caring for rabbits, guinea pigs, frogs, and other small animals. I raised, bred, and showed rabbits through 4-H, where I learned the importance of recognizing health concerns, maintaining consistent routines, and building trust with animals through calm, attentive care. I'm especially comfortable with shy or nervous pets and enjoy taking the time to earn their trust at their own pace. Whether your pet is energetic and loves adventure or prefers quiet companionship, I'll meet them where they're most comfortable. With my flexible schedule, I'm able to give pets plenty of attention while you're away. I'll treat your pet like they're my own, keep you updated with photos and messages, and do my best to make sure both you and your pet feel completely at ease. My schedule is very flexible, allowing me to accommodate morning, afternoon, evening, and weekend visits. Because I volunteer part-time, I'm able to adjust my schedule around your pet's routine whenever possible. Whether that means multiple potty breaks, long walks, playtime, medication, or overnight house sitting, my goal is to keep their day as normal as possible while you're away. For house sitting, I can often spend the majority of the day with your pet if that's something they'd benefit from. If I'll need to step away, I'll always communicate that with you beforehand so there are no surprises. Your pet's safety, comfort, and routine are always my top priorities. Before every booking, I take time to learn their normal schedule, favorite activities, medications, feeding routine, and anything else that helps them feel comfortable while you're away. I'm especially patient with shy or nervous pets and understand that some animals need a little extra time to warm up to someone new. I never rush interactions and always let pets build trust at their own pace. During walks and visits, I'm careful about securely attaching leashes before opening doors, checking gates, and paying close attention to my surroundings. In your home, I'll treat your space with the same respect I'd want someone to show mine, following your instructions carefully and making sure everything is secure before I leave. You'll also receive regular updates and plenty of photos so you can relax knowing your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for.
About: Hi! I’m a first year veterinary student at Oregon State University with a strong passion for animal care and years of hands on experience working with pets of all kinds. Before starting vet school, I worked as a veterinary technician at VCA Animal Hospital, where I gained valuable clinical skills and became comfortable administering injectables, giving oral medications, and providing attentive, high quality care to every animal I worked with. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pets, and I treat every dog as if they were my own: prioritizing their safety, comfort, and happiness at all times. I grew up with both dogs and cats, so being around animals has always been a huge part of my life. While my schedule in vet school doesn’t currently allow me to have pets of my own, dog walking and pet care gives me the perfect opportunity to still spend time with animals and helping pet owners feel confident that their beloved companions are in caring and capable hands. Pet care fits easily into my weekly routine and is something I genuinely enjoy. As a first year vet student, I use dog walks and visits as a refreshing break between classes and studying. It’s a great way for me to destress while still spending time doing what I love...caring for animals. I provide care in my clients’ homes to keep pets comfortable in their own environment and maintain their normal routines. I follow all instructions closely: feeding, walks, playtime, administering medications. While I currently have two cats in my apartment and am unable to host pets in my home, I’m very reliable with drop in visits and dog walking.
“Lydia deserves more than five stars. She’s so confident, calm, and cool with my pup. He was immediately ready to go with her and came back just as happy. She’s also very personable and easy to talk to you and open to whatever tips you have about your pet. I will definitely be calling her more often.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for friends, family, and clients for the last decade. I have experiencing administering medication as my family dog was diabetic, as well as medications for client’s pets as well. As a college student entering summer time, I have a lot of open availability to hang with your best furry friends! Pet care is an easy fit as I have a hybrid job with extremely flexible hours. I am free throughout the week as well as most weekends! I really do love hanging out with animals, so they receive my full attention!! Safety is a huge priority to having fun and spending time with them, so I remain extremely attentive to make sure they get the best safe care they can!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
