“Katie walked my two year old dog Maisy who was staying with my mom [88 years] in Corvallis. My mom is a great caretaker, but unable to go on long walks with a young, energetic dog. So, Katie stepped in. Katie was very punctual and kind and sent reports with photos. Very responsible and I would hire her again.”
2. Trisha P.
“Trisha exudes a boundless love for all animals, especially dogs and cats. Trisha voluntarily takes her friends dogs on walks routinely, and shows a genuine passion for the animals health and wellbeing. Currently I own a cat, and Trisha has show immense care for my cat Penny. Trisha's ability to connect with animals is truly heartwarming, creating an atmosphere of trust and joy that is felt by both the animals and those fortunate enough to witness their interactions. Throughout the years of knowing Trisha, I know that she is not just an animal lover, she is a compassionate force dedicated to making every animal feel comfortable and safe in her presence and space.”

5. Ashley S.
“Ashley is by far our first choice when we need a dog sitter. We have used her service on several occasions. During that time, she kept the house neat and tidy and stayed in communication with us on a regular basis, eliminating the stress of leaving the dogs and house behind. Above all, Ashley is trustworthy, and our dogs love her! We would be happy to provide personal references upon request.”

About: I have loved animals since before I could walk! I grew up with dogs, cats, reptiles, amphibians.. the list goes on. I can adapt to any pets needs. Consider your best friend a part of my family when they’re under my care. If you have other small pets in the home other than dogs or cats, no worries! I am a recent Army veteran and am currently pursuing a degree at Oregon State. After thirteen years on active duty, I am prioritizing my mental health and caring for animals has always been my passion. While serving, I have volunteered all over to include Richmond Humane Society, Humane Society of Southern Arizona, and Puppy Rescue Mission. I have also fostered over 10+ dogs and cats of all ages, keeping them safe until they find their fur-ever home. I have three dogs of my own who are rescues from New York and Romania. I also have a snake that I have had since 2005! I am new to Rover but I am certainly not new to opening my heart to your 4-pawed friends. Experience: Medication administration Puppy Basic Training Teaching/reinforcing basic commands Animals with fear/aggression Use of positive reinforcement Caring for special needs, special diets, elderly pets Pet First Aid As a student at OSU, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to work anywhere while giving plenty of love and attention to your pets while you’re away. Pets will be treated as one of my own! I love to cuddle but I respect pets boundaries if they prefer their space. Either way, I will ensure they feel safe and secure.

About: I've owned dogs for many years and raised puppies from a litter my dog had last year. I love all animals but dogs are my most favorite. I have a large fenced in yard and two female Goldendoodles who both get along well with other dogs. I have one old cat, She is 18 yrs old and dogs don't bother her anymore. She pretty much ignores them. I have a 9 yr old daughter still at home and my other 4 kids are 18+. I work on call as a hospice nurse every other week after hours, so I am home all day. I leave briefly to drive my Daughter to and from school and usually bring one of the dogs with me. When I get calls in the night, my Husband is home and generally I bring one of my own dogs with me for protection/companionship. I have a fully fenced yard and a large crate if needed. We enjoy walks when the weather is nice. I offer lots of love and cuddles.

15. Tra’shea V.
About: Hi! If you’ve stumbled across my page, my name is Tra’shea (I also go by T) and I recently moved from Seattle, WA to Albany, OR. I have currently been boarding with rover for a few years now and have many of my customers as regulars, but unfortunately I have moved on from my home state and would love to start a new client base here! I’ve been around dogs my whole life and am good with all breeds and personalities. I’ve previously worked at two separate dog daycare/boarding facilities where I have stayed over night with upward of 15 dogs! I’m very flexible whether you need to book a short notice request or a month in advance. I look forward to meeting all of the dogs and owners I get a chance to board with! I also offer walks and drop ins, when you have a long day away from home! I currently work evenings four days a week so I can manage my schedule with academics. I also have a dog myself who is older and a single pet pup, so no new fur babies at my place, but I’m available for house sitting, walks and drop in visits! Walks and drop ins any day in the morning/early afternoon fit best with my schedule. :) I have a car, so park access, scenic walks, etc are highly accessible! For over nights, I love to cuddle with pups and am able to get up if needed in the middle of the night for quick walks and potty breaks. I’ve worked with training & grooming some dogs as well, if you would like extra leash training on walks or any obedience work, nail trims or a quick bath- just mention when booking. :) Just over-all would like to make this the easiest & safest stay for you and your pet, while also having fun and getting them the attention & care they need!
