“Shelby did an awesome job! Went above and beyond and sent so many pictures. We have a husky and she brushed out her undercoat without being asked. Would definitely rebook with her again :)”

“What an awesome experience for my very spoiled lab! Diana wants to know all the details about all the dogs she has so she can provide the best personal experience for each one. She sent me pictures of his day, text messages of significant moments and I showed up to her group of dogs playing together. Duke has found his second home! I would highly recommend Diana to anyone that has a spoiled pet and is worried about leaving them behind during their travels....Duke had a better week than I did!”

“Connie took lots of pictures and was careful to follow all of my instructions. She took the time to meet our dog ahead of hosting him and was very easy to work with. Very responsive.”

“Whitney took great care of our little boy and was patient with him as he can be anxious with new experiences. We got photo updates and she made sure he was well taken care of!”

“Always wonderful with my shy baby and my reactive baby. My dogs are always happy and relaxed when I pick them up, honestly I think they would stay with Julie forever if they could! I’ve been going to her for a year and still go to her despite moving up to the Portland area!”

“Miriam has watched Chowder for over a year now and she has been amazing! Chowder and her have connected so well and it’s clear that he is completely comfortable and happy around her. She is very attentive and sensitive to his needs. Very happy to continue working with her 😊”

“Joseph was excellent—my pups were very happy. He provided photos and a perfect environment for my furry family. Cooper and Gracie returned completely contented. II highly recommend Joseph.”

“Tracy is a wonderful dog sitter. She is prompt with responses and easy to communicate with. Harlow had a great stay while we were out of town for a family reunion. We would definitely use Tracy again.”

“Madison took great care of my little senior. She provided me updates and pictures. My girl was as perfect when I picked her up as she was when I dropped her off. Would recommend!”

“You will not find more attentive and caring hosts than Dan and Dave! Our very anxious older dog was quickly at home with them and their sweet chihuahua, Hoss. Our Maisie was walked twice a day and I was sent pictures and updates each day. I couldn't recommend them more highly! They are wonderful pet hosts!!”

“Arielle was amazing!!! This was our first time ever leaving our fur baby with anyone other than family! She made us feel so at ease & remained in contact with us throughout his stay! She sent us pictures so we could see how he was doing & it looked like he was on vacation!!! She accepted him last minute & he came home so content & exhausted from his playtime! We have definitely found Opi’s home away from home!!! If you’re looking for an awesome sitter for your fur baby, look no further!!!”

“Allison and her family were wonderful! We got morning and evening updates each day.🐾 It was evident our dogs were well cared for while we were away. We have a heeler who can have a hard time adjusting to new environments but Allison knew exactly how to handle her. Allison was very friendly and knowledgeable. It was a wonderful experience and we hope to use her again in the near future! 🐶”

“Always super amazing! Jennifer is my Koda's new best friend, which is everything you want in a sitter. She is good with meeting all of my dogs needs and being there whenever we need her!💕”

“My dog has a great time with Bradley. He seemed very happy and got plenty of attention and activity. Bradley wa great in communication, genuine affection for pups. I’d definitely look to Bradley in the future for dog sitting.”

“Elizabeth took such great care of Percy while we were gone. We got lots of updates and great pictures. He had such a good time, we think he’s missing all of the space and puppy playmates. He came home happy and healthy.”

“Jade was more than accommodating to are pup Finnigan. He is home after his play date and having a rest lol. We loved that she took him on a walk and had her pups to play with him as well. The updates and pictures/videos were awesome as well. Definitely taking next step to over night.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Albany
Ben’s stay at Steve’s home went very well. Seems he adjusted nicely and when I came to get him he wasn’t overly anxious to leave and continued to play with Steve as we discussed how it went in my absence. I would definitely ask Steve and Jackson to dog sit again. They were very gracious. Thank you for taking care of Ben.

Many sitters in OR ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
