About: Hi my name is Whitney and I am a dedicated animal lover with over 20 years of experience caring for pets of all kinds. I have multiple animals myself including dogs and horses. A Bachelors in Animal Science and Post-Bach in Rangeland Science allows me to care for the most exotic of animals. Whether it is day walks, drop-ins, or overnight stay, I make sure all pets are safe, loved and cared for. I understand how important it is to trust someone with the care of your animals. I pride myself on being reliable , patient, and attentive to each animals unique needs. I have plenty of time to spend with your pets. I do have my own animals to take care of but times are very flexible and able to be moved around. I have 3 friendly dogs that could keep your dog company or I can crate your animal as needed. I have a multiple acre 5 foot non-climb horse fenced area for animals to run and play. I unfortunately do not have a fenced in area directly off of my house but can create an area as needed for smaller animals with portable fencing.

About: I have been around dogs and cats since before I could walk! I started pet sitting for my neighbors when I was a kid and have spent most of my life helping out my friends and family with their pets. I am a huge animal lover and also very active! I often pet sit for my friends and love to take their dogs on walks and runs. I live in Albany with my cat, Bill, and work from home a lot so I have lots of availability and would love some more dog time in my life! I work from home four days a week (wednesday’s i am in office) so i have a lot of availability to spend time with your dog! I am also an active runner and walker, so I can get your pup outside and get out energy if that’s what they need, or we can cuddle up inside and play or hang out :) I live in a spacious two-bedroom apartment with lots of grassy areas and walking paths around. I do have a cat, he gets along well with dogs, but your pup would need to be okay with cats! I have a very gentle approach to dogs and respecting their boundaries is so important to me. Depending on what you prefer for your dog, they are free to roam my apartment and be on furniture, unless you prefer them not to be! I have some experience training so if you’re in the middle of building habits, i will adhere to those practices :)

About: I worked at a pet boarding facility for a 7 years before I moved. I am a fast learner and choose to have the pet accept me before moving on to anything else. I shadowed groomers and vets to be sure the road I was taking would assure me happiness with animals and still plenty of time with my own animals. Working with the boarding facility I learned pets are different without there parents and can act differently around them so learning their likes and dislikes personally is a must for me. I want to make sure Pets and Parents are happy with me as help. I want both parties to feel safe, happy, and well rested when staying with me. I am currently working part-time with a flexible schedule. I would be able to come for an early morning and evening walk or adventure if needed. I have two dogs that are high energy. We often go to parks, take long walks, or swimming during hot days. I do have a kennel and a large vehicle for transport.

About: I am an animal lover, I only have 2 pets in my home right now, but I would have a cat rescue if I was able. Experience with all ages of pets. My schedule is flexible as I work from home. I prefer to walk in the morning or evening, to avoid heat stress, but I am able to work around your schedule I have an 8yr old St. Benard who is a gental giant and a 8ish year old cat that's my baby. A fenced large yard.

About: I have taken care of animals since the day I was born, I have had 3 dogs, 2 cats, 2 chickens, 5 hamsters, 2 Guinea pigs and 3 fish in my life time and have a heart for animals. They really do have something special about them! About: I have had the wonderful responsibility of taking care of animals ever since I was little, starting with a Jack Russel named Jess that my parents got for me and my siblings when I was eight. Growing up with her helped me to learn the responsibilities of love and care that come with owning a dog. Since then me and my wife’s pet family has grown to include a gentle golden retriever mix rescue, a loyal and playful Jack Russel, and a cuddly (albeit very talkative) one eyed Pug. I am unemployed right now due to injury, which has allowed me the pleasure of an open weekday schedule to make pet care my top priority. All of my pets have grown up in an extremely loving and caring environment and they actively reciprocate that back to me. I hope to provide your pets with that same love, trust, and attention that I am fortunate enough to provide my own pets with.

My home is calm, cage-free, and welcoming. Pets are allowed on furniture and are never caged. I work from home, which means pets are not left alone or expected to fit into a busy schedule. This allows for presence, attentiveness, and responsiveness throughout the day. In my home, pets are welcomed into a calm, cage-free space. They are not confined unnecessarily and are allowed on furniture. Because I work from home, pets are not left alone for long periods and receive consistent supervision, attention, and care throughout the day. The environment is kept clean, low-stress, and respectful of each animal’s routine and comfort level. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I bring respect and care to your space and pet. I take time to understand feeding schedules, medication needs, behavioral cues, and any fears or sensitivities.

About: I have been pet sitting and volunteering since I was 10. I have worked with shy dogs, reactive dogs, overly friendly dogs, puppies, anything you can think of. I also work with cats, even the ones who are not fans of visitors. I’ve gone through vet tech school and I have a lot of experience in training as well.
