I work from home on Mondays and Fridays and am available most weekends, so your pup will have round the clock care during those hours. Your dog will get daily walks (because mine says it’s non-negotiable), plus all the sniffing, playing, and cuddling they can handle.

I’ve got a decent-sized backyard where your dog can live their best life—sprinting like an Olympian, conquering sprinklers like a water park enthusiast, solving puzzles like a furry Einstein, and napping harder than your uncle after Thanksgiving dinner. Basically, it’s doggy paradise.

Hi! I’m an experienced pet sitter with nearly seven years of caring for other people’s furry family members in both my home and theirs. I’ve had cats and dogs my entire life—currently I share my home (and my couch) with my 8-year-old black Lab. He has asthma, so I do have experience at pet meds and inhalers—nurse, treat dispenser, and belly rub specialist all in one. Your dog will get daily walks (because mine says it’s non-negotiable), plus all the sniffing, playing, and cuddling they can handle. I’ll also send you photo updates so you can see them living their best vacation life while you’re away. Think of me as their second favorite human—right after you, of course!

I am so grateful to have found Shelby on Rover while up visiting Oregon for a few days for my niece's graduation. I am so cautious about leaving my 2 Labrador fur kids with a stranger and their dog. However Shelby was so accomodating in terms of willingness to do a meet and greet with her and her dog Winston, as well as being prepared in case my dogs needed to be separated. Nevertheless, Winston was such a sweetheart and both Shelby and Winston graciously opened up their home to both of my pups. She sent lots of pictures, gave me updates, let them play in the doggie pool, gave them lots of love and snuggle time when resting. On top of that, she was willing to come get them and drop them off each day and surprised us a "thank you" card and treats for the pup in the food bag. Much thanks, Shelby for taking care of my pups and making everything less stressful on us.
My dog had so much fun with Shelby. He has a lot of energy and she managed to tire him out every day. She communicated well and sent lots of great pictures. We got delayed on our way back and she held on to him for longer than planned. I will definitely book with her in the future when I have the need.
I'm so glad we met Shelby through Rover. She made us feel so comfortable leaving our senior dog for the night. She was communicative, sent pics, and several updates throughout our dog's stay. We appreciate the love she gave our girl and highly recommend her!
