Because I work from home full time, your dog will never be left unattended and will receive constant supervision. If you're looking for a place where your dog will be treated like a member of the family while you're away, you've come to the right spot. Since the day I was born, I have been surrounded by all sorts of breeds (herding, working, hounds, toys, sporting)…you name it. There isn't a breed or size I don't adore. This has taught me that every dog is uniquely special and I truly love them all. After I recently lost my sweet and wonderful 16.5 year old Blue Heeler, Sooky, I have so much love to share and I'd be thrilled to give it to your fur baby! Whether your dog enjoys running around in my fully fenced yard or snuggling up by the fire when it's cold, they'll get cozy and comfortable care while they are with me. I'm experienced with dogs at all life stages, from energetic puppies to mellow seniors. I can also handle things like giving medication or if you're working on commands/hand signals (I trained Sooky by hand signals only…no words) at home, I am more than happy to keep up that consistency while they're here! As a stay at home mom, I'm usually home all day so I can provide lots of company, attention, and affection! Treats are free with your permission! The only times I have to leave are for quick school runs for my kiddos, who are 3 and 6. My kids have been surrounded by dogs since they were born so they love dogs but they also understand some dogs need space and time to acclimate. If you have a wise senior who just wants a quiet spot to snooze with periodic belly rubs or back scratches, I’m here for that too. Besides taking my kids to and from school in the morning and afternoon, I'm usually home. This means your dog won't be left alone for long hours. Whether your dog likes morning fun, lazy afternoon naps or a cozy evening wind down, I'll make sure your pup has a wonderful time with me. Safety and peace of mind are my top priorities for every guest pup. I want them to have a "home away from home". My home features a fully fenced, secure backyard where dogs can safely run, explore, and play under my constant supervision. Inside, they’re welcome to roam freely, play with toys or snuggle up where they please. About: I worked at a pet boarding facility for a 7 years before I moved. I am a fast learner and choose to have the pet accept me before moving on to anything else. I shadowed groomers and vets to be sure the road I was taking would assure me happiness with animals and still plenty of time with my own animals. Working with the boarding facility I learned pets are different without there parents and can act differently around them so learning their likes and dislikes personally is a must for me. I want to make sure Pets and Parents are happy with me as help. I want both parties to feel safe, happy, and well rested when staying with me. I am currently working part-time with a flexible schedule. I would be able to come for an early morning and evening walk or adventure if needed. I have two dogs that are high energy.
