About: I worked at a pet boarding facility for a 7 years before I moved. I am a fast learner and choose to have the pet accept me before moving on to anything else. I shadowed groomers and vets to be sure the road I was taking would assure me happiness with animals and still plenty of time with my own animals. Working with the boarding facility I learned pets are different without there parents and can act differently around them so learning their likes and dislikes personally is a must for me. I want to make sure Pets and Parents are happy with me as help. I want both parties to feel safe, happy, and well rested when staying with me. I am currently working part-time with a flexible schedule. I would be able to come for an early morning and evening walk or adventure if needed. I have two dogs that are high energy. We often go to parks, take long walks, or swimming during hot days. I do have a kennel and a large vehicle for transport.

About: I grew up on a small farm with many pets and I think thats where my love for animals started. I have always had a dog and I could not imagine my life without them! I have a years experience working at a dog boarding facility (my personal heaven) and can provide references if that is something you’re interested in! I ensure when tending for your pet that you will be updated with the care and love they are getting via pictures and text updates. I am also experienced in properly administering medication/shots and caring for sick/elderly dogs. I take my dog on 2 longer walks a day and of course give potty breaks in between when needed, your dog will join us of course! When I have the time I enjoy going on hikes so I hope your dog does too! I make sure to follow the instructions you provide with care, I know routine is important especially for more anxious pups. This includes feeding/walking on time, and accommodating any preferences requested!

About: I am an animal lover, I only have 2 pets in my home right now, but I would have a cat rescue if I was able. Experience with all ages of pets. My schedule is flexible as I work from home. I prefer to walk in the morning or evening, to avoid heat stress, but I am able to work around your schedule I have an 8yr old St. Benard who is a gental giant and a 8ish year old cat that's my baby. About: I have been around dogs and cats since before I could walk! I started pet sitting for my neighbors when I was a kid and have spent most of my life helping out my friends and family with their pets. I am a huge animal lover and also very active! I often pet sit for my friends and love to take their dogs on walks and runs. I live in Albany with my cat, Bill, and work from home a lot so I have lots of availability and would love some more dog time in my life! I work from home four days a week (wednesday’s i am in office) so i have a lot of availability to spend time with your dog! I am also an active runner and walker, so I can get your pup outside and get out energy if that’s what they need, or we can cuddle up inside and play or hang out :) I live in a spacious two-bedroom apartment with lots of grassy areas and walking paths around. I do have a cat, he gets along well with dogs, but your pup would need to be okay with cats! I have a very gentle approach to dogs and respecting their boundaries is so important to me. Depending on what you prefer for your dog, they are free to roam my apartment and be on furniture, unless you prefer them not to be! I have some experience training so if you’re in the middle of building habits, i will adhere to those practices :)

Now, I am working as a dog trainer with a good understanding of animals and some veterinary knowledge to help along the way. If you ever need help with dog training, just ask! While I am caring for your pet(s), I will play with them, take dogs on walks as the weather allows, and make sure your pets feel loved while their parents are away.
