“Vanessa was great! This was our first time using rover so we were nervous for our fur babies but knew after the meet and greet that they would be in good hands! She had her work cut out for her with our 4 cats but she handled it like a champ. Despite many verbal threats from my old boy, she powered through and made sure he was taken care of. She went above and beyond to even bring in a bunch of packages that were delivered while were gone. She also made sure everything was so clean when we got home. I cannot recommend her enough!”

“How great to have found Emily to care for our pet. She was professional, considerate and patient - very understanding of nervous pet-parents leaving the pet for the first time overnight.”

“Kat is an excellent sitter! She was extremely thorough and detailed with her updates every time she visited my cat Menew, and was available on relatively short notice as well. I would highly recommend you book with her, and she will be my absolute go-to anytime I need someone to take care of my pets again.”

“So glad our Clover is in such capable and responsible hands! Going out for a weekend and vacations are stress-free thanks to Kate! I also love the photos she sends of Clover, his personality is so quirky and the photos are a riot!”

“Nilanjana is a dream house sitter, came home after a long trip to a very happy cat and beautifully cared for plants. She’s responsible and communicative, no notes - we will definitely be asking her to sit again!”

About: I am a first year vet student at OSU, and I have worked in a small animal general practice for about 3 years. I have house sat for families for about 6 years consistently. I am from Chicago and left behind our family dog, looking to fill the void with some new furry friends! Being a full time vet student can take up a majority of my time, but I adjust my schedule to adapt to the pets normal routine. I always adjust to owners schedule, to feed, take outside, or give medication at the right time. I am unable to house clients in my apartment, but I am comfortable staying at clients homes. I am more than willing to give baths or nail trims if supplies are available. I always like to meet new friends once or twice before my stay to build trust, and to get to know the day to day tasks of your furry loved one! I enjoy sharing photos to keep owner updated on their pet’s well being.
“Ali is the perfect pet sitter. I felt comfortable with Ali from the get-go and knew my cat was going to be well cared for. Very responsible and super professional! Feel very fortunate to have found such a great cat sitter!!”

“Very reliable! My first experience with Rover was fantastic. I was nervous about using this service but Katrine quickly set me ease when she stopped by for a meet and greet. I received multiple pics each day and both my kitties looked very happy. I very much appreciate how well this went and have already booked her for another trip.”

About: Hi my name is Whitney and I am a dedicated animal lover with over 20 years of experience caring for pets of all kinds. I have multiple animals myself including dogs and horses. I have a bachelors in Animal Science and Rangeland Science so I am able to care for the most exotic of animals. Whether it is day walks, overnight visits, or the occasional overnight stay I make sure all pets are safe, loved and cared for. I understand how important it is to trust someone with the care of your animals. I pride myself on being reliable , patient, and attentive to each animals unique needs. Currently only offering pet sitting so I have plenty of time to spend with your pets. I do have my own animals to take care of but times are very flexible and able to be moved around. I have 3 friendly dogs that could keep your dog company or I can crate your animal as needed. I have a multiple acre 5 foot non-climb horse fenced area for animals to run and play. I unfortunately do not have a fenced in area directly off of my house but could create an area as needed for smaller animals.
“Asia was amazing and was incredibly responsive to all the specific needs of my partner and I’s three cats. She left everything very clean and neat and I really appreciated how she took some extra time to play with our cats during her drop in visits.”

“Elizabeth took excellent care of our kitty while we were away for the holidays. She fed him and played with him and he was doing great when we got back! Would recommend and will likely contact Elizabeth again for future cat sitting needs.”

“Raina did a fantastic job at watching our two cats while we were gone for a weekend. She was sure to ask about favorite toys and food and we have no doubt that our cats were well looked after.”

“I wholeheartedly recommend Miriam! Easy communication, pre-visit check-in & peace of mind that Miriam had the cat covered for her medication & IBS kitty messes covered. Thanks, Miriam, for making Zoe's care worry free!”

“Nadiya was an amazing Rover hire. She watched our tuxedo cat Simon or five day. Checked on him 2 times daily. Fed and socialized with him. Received great pics daily. Highly recommend her.”

About: I’ve taken care of and walked dogs since I was in middle school, currently have my own 7 year old pitty girl and we have 2 other doggy roommates. I have experience with cats as well as I have many friends with cat that I’ve cared for :) I work from home in South Corvallis and travel between here, Albany, Philomath and Salem quite often. Weekends are pretty open for me as well for checking in on your pet or walking them! I love to create a relationship with new furry friends that will allow them to gauge how they feel about me and hopefully I can earn their trust. I will ensure not to force them to do anything they don’t want and provide them with love and care as I would my own pets ❤️
About: I have been pet sitting and volunteering since I was 10. I have worked with shy dogs, reactive dogs, overly friendly dogs, puppies, anything you can think of. I also work with cats, even the ones who are not fans of visitors. I’ve gone through vet tech school and I have a lot of experience in training as well. I am very patient and work with your wants and needs. I have experience administering medication and can work with most needs, just ask! :) **I can accept dogs who don’t get along with others, just let me know. My dogs are crate trained and I can keep them seperate.** I am available at almost anytime of any day. Pet sitting is my passion and currently my only job, and when I am working I still make sure that your pet can be my priority. I can work with whatever environment you have. Apartment, large home with yard, there are so many ways to still interact and tire out your pup :)
