“Joe did a great job with my dog. He sent pictures and updates daily and gave me such peace of mind that my girl was well taken care of. Will absolutely be using him for boarding again.”

“Tracy provided incredible care for Mino for a week while I was away. She sent me a photo update once a day, which was especially reassuring while Mino was adjusting to her space during the first few days. Mino also has trauma from his life before rescue, and Tracy has ample experience in this area. When I picked up Mino, he was happy, rested, and he even came near my car for a minute. A truly positive experience for my dog.”

“I’m so glad we found Maddy! She assured me that my precious old gal was fully integrated into their family throughout the stay. I very much look forward to using Maddy again.”

About: I’ve always loved animals, often more than people if I’m honest haha. I will love your babies like they are my own! Crate trained or not crate trained are welcome. They won’t be spending much time, if any, in it unless that’s part of the requested care. I lost both my rescues, the most recent almost 2 years ago. It’s an indescribable loss. My heart isn’t ready to own another animal yet, but I truly have so much love to give them. I’m the type that let my dogs on any and all furniture, celebrated birthdays, and went on special trips and outings I know they would love! I’ve always owned animals, specifically dogs, my entire life. I believe they are the purest form of love. I’ve watched animals for friends and family, but my senior dog made it difficult towards the end of his life to have any other animals around. I live in a private community with 2 grassy dog parks inside it. While I have your baby, please feel free to connect anytime you want an update or reassurance that they are safe and sound! I work at a spa part time, and also from home. I have plenty of walk and spoil time! I’m not away at work longer than 5 hours at a time a few days a week. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone. I want them, and you, to feel safe and relaxed 😌 I’m a sucker for animals. I’m sure your pet will figure that out in the first 5 minutes haha. I wouldn’t have it any other way.

“Miriam has watched Chowder for over a year now and she has been amazing! Chowder and her have connected so well and it’s clear that he is completely comfortable and happy around her. She is very attentive and sensitive to his needs. Very happy to continue working with her 😊”

“Catrina took wonderful care of my pup. She sent regular updates and photos and I could tell that Arnie was really relaxed and happy when I returned. I would highly recommend Catrina!”

“Shelby is fantastic! Our furbaby was well loved and cared for during his overnight stay. Great communication and photos to share updates. We will reach out to book again in the futur. Thank you, Shelby!”

About: We are a dog family with a pack of 2. We have worked with local rescues in the past to volunteer our home and time to foster heeler puppies. Our dogs are social and love having friends to play with. Our large fenced yard allows for lots of running, playing or lazy sunbathing. We have experience with young puppies and just went through a season of caring for and saying goodbye to our senior ladies. Our home and hearts are open to making many new doggo best friends. My spouse and I work opposite shifts so we have ability to spend time with the dogs in our home. Our youngest is still training (only 4 months old) so we make sure that the longest the dogs are left alone is 3 hours. We have a fenced yard and 2 Dogs of our own (4 year old Great Pyrenees and 4 month old Kelpie Mix) that love to socialize and make friends. My spouse is at OSU taking classes and preparing to apply to Veterinary school. We have volunteered with a local rescue to foster heeler puppies and have helped 7 puppies find their forever homes. We love giving dogs the opportunity to live their best lives possible.
“We are so glad that Julie watched our five-month-old pup for us! It is obvious that this is not just a job for Julie but she genuinely loves and adores dogs! 🥰 Julie watched Zoey for 13 days while we went on vacation. Each day she sent a little note and picture of Zoey to us so that we could be assured of her good care and joy in being with Julie and the other dogs! We will hire Julie again to watch our Zoey!”

About: I absolutely love animals and live in a great location to go on walks through the park or playing fetch in my yard. After my dog of 11 years passed away last winter, I’m looking to help care for other dogs until I’m ready for another dog of my own. I work from home and can easily care for pets during the week or over the weekend. My flexible hours makes it ideal for daycare or boarding services. At my house, dogs are part of the family and are cared for with love and affection. I have a fenced in backyard and live close to several parks for outside adventures. I love going on afternoon walks/runs and have a flexible schedule to provide for all your pet’s needs while in my care. The home environment, is quiet, loving, and great for evening snuggles before bed. My goal is to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for your pet allowing you to enjoy your time away worry free.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Philomath
Rebecca was great. She took the time to meet Boon (Border Collie Mix), get to know him, and listen to what he needed for care. She took him into her home and her two dogs created a comfortable spot for Boon over a long weekend. Rebecca was on time, available, clear in her communication, and flexible when needed.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
