“First off, the good. I think she took good care of Helix. She arrived around when she said she was going to, and she stayed around about as long as she said she was going to. I think all my valuables are still here (I don't know if anything of substance will turn up missing over the next few weeks, but the most valuable things I checked, and they are all here). She was an effective communicator in general. The not so good... She was late to both of our meetings leading up to this event. Both times she didn't notify me until after the time we were supposed to meet. She doesn't look like her picture on here. It didn't bother me much, but... if you are trying to draw conclusions about how responsible she is based on the picture, you won't be able to. If that's a concern, you may want to book far enough in advance so you can cancel after you meet her without incurring any penalty. Honestly though, I think cancelling because of someone's appearance is lame- it has little to do with whether she'll be responsible in taking care of your pets. We did have an issue with how the key was returned, but I'm proud of her for how she handled the situation. Her solution wouldn't work in the future because it won't be an option (it was luck that it was an option today), but for this outing it was perfect. If she's willing to work with me again, I have another solution for returning the key which will work fine, and based on how this week went, I think that will work. Overall, I give her a B. She did the important things right- she took care of Helix, she didn't steal my stuff, and she found an effective solution for returning the key to me. If she's willing, I will hire her again.”

“Nadia is awesome! She’s been dropping in on our kitties. She’s been super responsive and attentive, sending me lots of pictures after every drop in. They love her, even our cat that is very particular and very shy, comes right out to her and greets her. She shows them lots of attention and affection. She treats them very much like her own kittens!”

About: Hi there! My name is Jamie and I'm from Arizona. I graduated from Arizona State in 2023 with my Bachelor's in Biology and moved here to OSU to start vet school! I'm a current 1st year vet student, prior to which I worked as a veterinary assistant for over 3 years working with dogs and cats. I had been dog sitting for friends and family for many years. In Arizona, I had a wide range of cool experience with different animals. I worked with zoo animals and helped rehabilitate wild birds at a wildlife rehab center. I also helped with some cool shark research during my undergrad...yep, shark research in the middle of the desert. I have a pit back home in Arizona, Hershey, who I love and miss dearly. I've had her since I was 9 and she's the reason why I started my journey in veterinary medicine. I moved here to start vet school with my calico kitty, Chai, who I adopted at the beginning of my vet med journey. She is my pride and joy, even though she's a sassy girl! Trust me, I understand how nerve wracking it can be to find the perfect caretaker for your baby. I am also very familiar with the anxiety it holds when you're away from them. That's why I'm more than happy to work with you to provide the best care for your furry little loved one! I'm a full-time veterinary student, so that comes with a full day of classes Monday to Friday. However, I will be able to stop by in the mornings, between classes during lunch and/or throughout the day, and also in the evenings to help take care of your little one. I'm also available over the weekends to dedicate more time into care! Being a pet parent myself and having worked in the vet field, I'm careful about anything hazardous that can hurt our pets and I also know vet bills are not cheap. With that being said, I am always extra cautious about leaving anything out that could be toxic and dangerous. I always like to baby proof my environments and I will make sure to do the same with my clients as well. I am also careful about watching doors and will ensure there are no escape routes if you got a runner! If your pet needs walking, I can safely leash and take them out on walks. If requested, I can also safely crate as well!

About: Hello! I’ve been taking care of dogs for 4 years now! In that time I’ve been a dog nanny, slept over to snuggle/ play with the pups, I’ve gone over and walked the dogs and fed them. I have class in the morning but my evenings are free to help with whatever you may need! I am also available on most weekends In my home we have a fence that keeps our two dogs in. We also have a dog part 3 minutes from our house which my dog Junior LOVES
