When I visit or stay in your home, my top priority is the safety of your home and your pet(s). I always make sure doors are locked whether I am inside or not for safety reasons. I will also leave your home looking as it was when I first arrive- I keep things tidy and clean up after myself.

Please let me know if your dog has any special needs or requires any medications. I’d be happy to provide the extra help they need.
A typical day
I love giving dogs the physical and mental stimulation they require, whatever that means for each individual. If your dog loves fetch, we’ll do it. If they love going on walks or to the park, we’ll do that. If they love lounging on the couch, we can do that too!

Pet care experience
Hi! I am a 25 year old second-year veterinary student at Oregon State University. I would love to care for your pet like family. Animals are my life! I love pet-sitting because it allows me to meet so many wonderful animals and their people. I’ve grown up with dogs and been around them my entire life. In the past, outside of Rover, I’ve done dog-walking, pet-sitting, and worked as a kennel assistant for boarding as well as a full-time veterinary assistant. I have a bachelors degree in Animal Science from the University of Arkansas and I am currently in my second year of school at the Oregon State University Veterinary Medicine program. During visits or a stay, I aim to keep your pet’s schedule as normal as possible while you’re gone. I am comfortable giving all types of medications- oral, injections, or anything else. I can’t wait to give your pup all the love, play, and attention they need!

Reviews

Elaina always does a fantastic job with our pups. I am enjoying the peace of mind i have when I leave them with her.

Elaina did a fantastic job of pet sitting our labradoodle Teddy. Elaina made an extra effort to quickly create a bond with Teddy so that he was relaxed and happy. Elaina took Teddy on his twice daily walks and ball chasing around our property and the pictures she shared showed he was having fun (even in the rain). Upon our return the house was perfect and Elaina even had taken the towels/sheets she used to our laundry room! We will definitely book Elaina again for future pet sitting.

Elaina was very flexible with our schedule which was a bit unknown. She did great with the dogs and sent us pictures. Dogs were happy and well taken care of. Elaina was very responsive which was much appreciated. Definitely will ask her again!

Eliana is great with our reactive dog and she went above and beyond to accommodate some last minute dog walks!!
