“George did a great job housesitting Dobie . He sent me pictures and messages every day which was very much appreciated. And he left the house in very good shape. I highly recommend George as a house/dog sitter.”

“Jeffrey did a wonderful job with Meli. There have been a number of changes in our life recently, which have left Meli quite anxious, particularly about being left alone in the house. Jeffrey went above and beyond to spend time with Meli, calming her over the week, playing with her, and just hanging out with her. This calmed her considerably, and we came home to a happy, healthy dog!”

“Nilanjana was so communicative, took amazing care of Zelda, sent us daily updates, and took great care of our home. We are so happy to have had her watch Zelda while we were away for an extended time. ☺️ I would recommend her to anyone!!”

About: Animals have always been a passion of mine. I am highly knowledgeable about dog care, behavior, and overall well-being. I have experience helping whelp puppies and have cared for and trained dogs throughout every stage of life, from puppies to seniors. I currently have a senior dog myself, giving me firsthand experience with the special attention older pets need. In addition to dogs, I have farm experience caring for horses, pigs, chickens, and other animals. I treat every pet with patience, compassion, and the same love and attention I give my own animals. Let’s plan a day for me to come do a meet and greet :) I currently work full time, but I am transitioning to part-time in the near future to dedicate even more time to pet care. Until then, I am available on weekends and am committed to providing dependable, attentive care to every pet I look after. As my schedule becomes more flexible, I look forward to expanding my availability and spending even more time doing what I love most—caring for animals. Pet care is a true passion of mine, and I am dedicated to making sure each pet feels safe, loved, and well cared for! Your pet’s safety, comfort, and well-being are my top priorities. I strive to provide a calm, loving, and stress-free environment, caring for pets in the comfort of their own home. I understand that many pets feel most secure in familiar surroundings, and I am committed to maintaining their routines and giving them the individualized attention they deserve. With experience caring for animals of all ages, I am attentive, patient, and treat every pet as if they were my own. Building trust with both pets and their owners is incredibly important to me, and I pride myself on being reliable, communicative, and compassionate.
“Rosie is consistently amazing. Always going above and beyond. She is deeply attentive, communicative, sensitive to the needs of our pets, and takes exquisite care of our home. We have complete trust in her and always know our babies will be in very capable hands while we are away. Rosie is a gift and we are incredibly grateful for her.”

“Teri was amazing! She made our trip so much more enjoyable! We knew Abby was in good hands. Teri sent us pictures multiple times per day and Abby looked very happy and relaxed! Abby and I are looking forward to having Teri come stay again!”

“Ashley watched our two cats and house sat while we were away. She was very professional during our meet and greet and asked all the right questions. Ashley was incredibly responsive when we had reached out and sent us daily pictures. We knew that our little fur babies were loved and cared for while in her care. Once you meet her, it’s clear how much Ashley loves animals. We look forward to having her cat sit again for us in the future!”

About: stand out by providing personalized, attentive care tailored to each dog’s unique needs. Whether I’m working with energetic puppies who need help with basic training and structure, or senior dogs who require a slower pace, medication support, and extra comfort, I adjust my approach to make them feel safe and happy. I have experience with puppy training basics like leash walking, crate training, and reinforcing good behavior, as well as caring for older dogs who may need patience, gentle handling, or mobility support. Growing up with a dad who is a veterinarian also gave me early exposure to animal health and behavior, so I’m comfortable recognizing when something might be off and following care instructions closely. I’m reliable with routines, feeding schedules, exercise, and any special instructions you provide, and I prioritize a calm, positive environment so your dog feels at home. I also keep you updated with regular messages and photos, so you always know how they’re doing. I’m currently a student at OSU, so my mornings and evenings are free! I may be able to stop by briefly during the day depending on my schedule, but the longest your pet would have to go without a check-in is about 5 hours. Pet care fits naturally into my routine; I plan my day around making sure pets are fed, exercised, and given attention at consistent times. I’m available for morning walks or visits, evening care, and overnight stays when needed. Because my schedule is fairly flexible outside of classes, I’m able to prioritize your pet’s needs and stick closely to their normal routine to keep them comfortable and stress-free. I provide care in my client’s home, as my rent agreement doesn’t allow pets for extended stays. I’ve been house sitting and pet sitting for a long time, and I’m always respectful of your space, belongings, and any household rules. I do my best to keep your pet’s routine as consistent as possible, feeding, walks, playtime, and any medications, so they feel comfortable in their familiar environment. I’m attentive to safety, making sure doors, gates, and food are secure, and I keep a close eye on your pet’s behavior and well-being. I also prioritize communication and trust by sending updates and photos, so you can feel confident that both your pet and your home are in good hands.
“Abby was responsible and trustworthy. She took good care of our young and energetic dog, taking her on walks and play dates with other dogs. We arrived home from a week out of town and the house and yard had been well cared for. I would recommend her and would be happy to employ her again down the road.”

“Emily was very professional and clear in communication. She was willing to go out of her way to learn about my dogs special diabetic needs and went above and beyond caring. I felt very comfortable leaving Marley in care with Emily.”

“Melissa took great care of our pup Juniper! She is communicative and gives Junie lots of love and attention. We highly recommend Melissa for any pet sitting needs! She is wonderful!”

About: I have been taking care of animals all my life, and pet-sitting professionally for over 10 years now. I am particularly experienced and confident in caring for senior animals, pets needing medication, and those who are particularly shy or need that extra emotional consideration. You'll notice me take the extra time to get to know your pet and the nuances of their personality and needs. I offer animals the slowness and presence needed for deep listening and attunement: two qualities that help build trust. I am highly organized, detail-oriented, and good at communication. I'm used to planning my schedule and time around the needs of the animals I'm caring for, and am always ready to apply my extensive knowledge for unexpected situations that may arise. Some of my recent clients include a rowdy pack of 5 dogs of various size and breed, a senior cat with hyperthyroidism who switches her food preferences daily, a blind and deaf senior dog who loves to play, and a farm sanctuary with over 20 animals, including pigs rescued from a neglect situation and feral cats being socialized for the first time. If your animal needs a bit more time and care to feel comfortable around someone new, takes medication or is navigating ongoing health conditions, or is at higher likelihood of needing veterinarian intervention while you're away, these are situations where I have both experience and confidence. For me, animal care isn't just about completing all the tasks that need to be done for the well-being of our animal family members. It's about creating a relationship of trust with the animals relying on me, as well as their human guardians. Entrusting your beloved pet to another person, as well as opening your home to them, is something you deserve to feel secure and confident in. And your pet deserves to feel truly cared for, understood, and prioritized while you're away. With my years of experience both personally and professionally, and my special skills for medical and emotional complexity, I know I can provide a pet-care experience where trust flows in all directions. Pet-care is my main job (and joy) which I orient the rest of my living schedule around. I have lots of flexibility to form my schedule around your animal's needs. My most commonly booked form of pet-sitting is overnight care in the pet's home. This can put the pets at ease and lets them maintain their usual routines. I have lots of experience doing overnights, and am a clean, considerate, and respectful house guest, to the recommendation of all of my clients (happy to give references). I also offer visits / drop-ins throughout the day, and am consistent and timely in these visits.
“Sandor is an absolute dream sitter! He’s very responsive and friendly, took care of fur babies and our home, and he found ways to go above and beyond, exceeding our expectations. He’s by far the best sitter we’ve ever had on this site and we’ll certainly check his availability first the next time we need a sitter. 10/10 recommend!”

About: I have had 3 dogs of my own for years that I’ve helped train and take care of alongside my family. I have also been paid for and asked to take care of my families dogs or other pets multiple times. I have had 3 cats as well, so I’m pretty well knowledgeable in both areas of care. Im working part time at the moment and have space between and after my classes to take care of whatever business and pet sitting necessary :) I am very patient and careful with dogs with knowing many temperaments are different and unique. I’ve dealt with bigger dogs so I’m not easily nervous around noisy dogs.
“Brandy is always a caring and reliable sitter. We feel so comfortable knowing all of our animals will be in such good hands - that is real peace of mind when traveling.”
“Bailey did a wonderful job taking care of our two pups for the weekend while we were away. She had excellent communication, sent pics to check in, and took excellent care of the house. She left the house very clean, including hand washing the dishes she used while we were away. I would love to have her take care of my pups again in the future.”

About: I have taken care of animals for as long as I can remember. I have had a childhood dog of my own since I was 12. Meaning, I have walked my dog a countless amount of miles and have experience in all types of dog walking situations. I have also pet sat for neighbors and friends. I enjoy training dogs including my own and always think they can be better! I am reliable, a good communicator, and flexible. Lastly, I have a love for animals that has always been consistent! It fits well. I am a student home from college for the summer with only minimal trips booked so I have a very open schedule. I care for pets by making sure they are safe and happy. I also closely follow the owners instructions. I do exactly what I want for my own dog and that is to keep them happy and healthy.

Philomath pet parents share their Rover experiences
Erin came through when I had a health crisis and had to leave home. She dropped everything and ran to our rescue, at first for a few days, but her stay kept getting extended for a week and a half. My VERY shy pup warmed up to her and bonded. It was a great experience for her! Even though I left her in a messy, near empty apartment, Erin never complained. She even cleaned up the place! Her compassion and professionalism were impressive. She frequently sent pics of their outings together. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Allison was a hit right away with Hunter during our meet and greet! And when we returned from our weekend away he was obviously very content while we were away! Allison was very easy to communicate with and attentive to specific instructions for Hunter, as well. We’d have no concerns having her take care of Hunter again, and we are confident he would be only too excited to see her!

Elaina did a fantastic job of pet sitting our labradoodle Teddy. Elaina made an extra effort to quickly create a bond with Teddy so that he was relaxed and happy. Elaina took Teddy on his twice daily walks and ball chasing around our property and the pictures she shared showed he was having fun (even in the rain). Upon our return the house was perfect and Elaina even had taken the towels/sheets she used to our laundry room! We will definitely book Elaina again for future pet sitting.
