About: I believe every animal is someone's loved one and a cherished part of the family. That's why I treat every animal I meet with the same love and care I'd want for my own. Whether I’m stopping by to keep your loved one company or taking them on a hike with me for an adventure, I promise to keep your family member safe, happy and loved! I’ve taken care of many types of animals as I grew up on a ranch with many dogs, cats, horses, chickens and goats around. I have trained numerous dogs throughout my childhood and have loved every single one along the way. I have pet sat for many family members and friends, keeping the pets routine the same in order to make them comfortable and happy. I now have my own tabby kitten that I’m obsessed with, which my partner and I are currently trying to adventure train. I am currently writing my Master’s thesis and working from home so I have a lot of flexibility on when I work. I can make my own hours and work around when you need me! I’ll adapt to however you need help with your pet, since I have helped with so many types of animals, I know they all have their own unique personalities and quirks. I’ll follow your lead on how to care for your animal!

About: Hi, my preferred name is Lee :) It can be hard to set yourself apart from others on this app, really we all just love animals, and sometimes people need help caring for their pets, we’re here for you! I understand how difficult it must be to entrust your pet’s wellbeing in the hands of a stranger, especially through an app with endless options, but I hope my quick introduction can help put your mind at ease. Please rest assured that I am literally the type of person that wouldn’t harm a fly, I actually do catch them and let them if I can. I’ve always felt a special connection to animals of all kinds, easily understanding body language and energy. I’ve cared for and loved many animals of my own including cats, dogs, fish, birds, rats, hamsters, and even a snake. I’ve also had the pleasure of caring for just about every farm animal in the book. As I have interacted and cared for a diverse group of animals I am experienced with and understanding of all temperaments and personalities. My main goal is to meet every pet where they’re at, and I would never blame an animal for how they’re feeling. In addition to caring for pets, I am an avid plant lover and could also care for your houseplants or garden if needed. Basically my whole life is animals, I’m in the pet care field and I work at an equine barn. I’m pretty flexible and eager to help where I can. Although I cannot board, I am happy to house sit. This usually includes walks for dogs, but I can also play with your cat, treat games for both, or offer enrichment to any animal in need. I always strive to meet the unique needs of each pet. Any pet I care for will receive the same tender love and care that I show my own.

About: I've been around dogs and cats my whole life and have most recently been fostering cats. I also hike a lot and would love to bring your dog along! I have a lot of experience with attending to medical issues in both cats and dogs. I'm currently a graduate student at OSU and my schedule is very flexible. I can work with your schedule and needs, including weekdays and certainly weekends. I can easily board a cat in my apartment. While my apartment complex allows dogs, I don't have a yard and likely your dog will be happier in your home.

“Vanessa was great! This was our first time using rover so we were nervous for our fur babies but knew after the meet and greet that they would be in good hands! She had her work cut out for her with our 4 cats but she handled it like a champ. Despite many verbal threats from my old boy, she powered through and made sure he was taken care of. She went above and beyond to even bring in a bunch of packages that were delivered while were gone. She also made sure everything was so clean when we got home. I cannot recommend her enough!”

About: Since childhood I have been around dogs and have developed a passion for caring for and bonding with them. I have raised two dogs of my own from puppy-hood, one of whom is now a senior dog who requires a little extra care. I love dogs of all shapes and sizes and when I am pet-sitting, I treat them with the same attention and care as if they were my own. I have a passion for bonding with animals and making them feel seen and comfortable. I have experience administering medicine and have mitigated many situations with potentially aggressive dogs. About: I’ve grown up with pets of all sizes and am not afraid to try new things. I strive to provide the best care possible for you and your pets. I currently work a full time job Monday-Friday 8:30 AM to 5 PM in Salem but may be able to flex my hours if needed! I have weekends off and major holidays off as well. I currently have two guinea pigs that I provide constant care, enrichment and love for. I’m very serious about cleanliness and the safety of pets and those around the pets as well.

About: I’ve always had a large variety of pets my whole life and am always super excited to meet new animals and their unique personalities I work part time, and most of my shifts will be done by 2pm, leaving much of the afternoon and evening for visits with pets I am reliable, attentive, and good at providing personalized pet care in clients’ homes. I follow feeding schedules, am able to administer medication if instructed, and ensure pets feel comfortable and safe in familiar surroundings. About: I’m a Zoology student at OSU and I’ve previously worked for a doggy day-care. I love pets and have always had them in my home! I have experience pet-sitting and often have repeat clients :) I’m a full time college student but I have lots of free time and. I can make my schedule flexible for you! I’m available in the evenings and early mornings. I try my best to reduce anxiety in the pets under my care by following their regular routines as close as I can and giving them extra love while their owner is away!

About: I have had pets, including dogs, cats, and rats, since I was 3 years old. I am a wildlife biologist by training, so I have experience caring for all sorts of animals. I have experience taking care of both my own and others' senior pets. I also have an adorable kitty of my own. I am available most evenings and weekends to take care of your pets. I am working a flexible hybrid in-office/telework schedule, so I have flexibility to care for your pets during the work day. I am happy to take care of your fur baby in your own home. I have my own transportation to get to your home, and in the very rare case of emergency to transport your pet to a vet. I interact with animals in a very calm manner as they get to know me.

About: I have been around animals my whole life. I have professionally worked as a house/pet sitter for 3 years but I have cared for my own for as long as I can remember. I have taken care of dogs, cats, and many livestock. I have trained many of my puppies so I can handle them and have cared for many senior animals having to give them special diets and medications. My mom is a CVT and I have worked for a vet so I can handle and/or know when to call in bad situations. I will be starting school in September so I will have time between classes to care for pets. I will always make time or stay longer if a pet needs that. I make sure all animals are feeling safe wherever they may be. I make sure energetic animals get played with, shy dogs get there space, and older more lethargic dogs get there rest. I change my care based on the animal and always give them the care and love they need.

About: I've lived with my dog, Avery, for about 10 years back home, have cared for family friends' dogs when needed, have participated in fetch-a-friend multiple times with Heartland Humane Shelter, and I am very comfortable around cats as well. I can provide a very active few days running or walking for your pets, or I can keep them homely company while you are away. Since I have a car, if desired, I can take your pets to the park or just on short car rides. If your pets have any medications required, or specific eating/dosage times, I will make sure to set alarms to stay on time and dependable. My main job right now is DoorDash, so any time you need me to be available is free. My schedule can allow for week-long petcare, if needed, or just a short walk :3 I try my best to be friendly, understanding, and patient with any pets I interact with; if a pet is trying to tell me something, I will pay my best attention! Additionally, if a pet needs some space while adjusting to me or the lack of usual people around, I can provide that space while still keeping an eye on them.

About: I’m current an animal sciences student at OSU studying to become a dog trainer. I’ve worked with firefighting K-9 units in the past and have a huge interest in training search dogs. I’ve had a few clients previously with aggressive and/or elderly dogs and have extensive experience caring for both. With me currently being in college, any care for pets is based around my class schedule. I don’t currently own any pets however my roommate has 4. They own 3 reptiles and a cat which I help take care of while they’re away or busy with school themself. I take time to get to know the space and what the client is and isn't okay with. Depending on each client I will alter the care of their pets to fit their needs and expectations.
