Devoted pet parent of two pups.
Animals have always been part of my family. From cats and dogs to goats, chicken, and cattle- I've been surrounded by critters my whole life. Because of this, I understand how difficult it can be to work and travel while being unable to bring your furry (or feathered) friends with you. I am currently the mother to two heeler pups who have experienced differing degrees of reactivity making it difficult to find sitters who are knowledgeable and comfortable watching them in my absence. I'd like to be able to provide some respite to other pet parents in my shoes - I have experience with quirky, rowdy, even reactive pets. This experience has shaped skills in patience, communication, and quick thinking so that I can provide the care that keeps your pets safe and satisfied.

At this time I am open to sitting pets in their own home. I have varying flexibility throughout the week that allows me to perform drop in visits and/or full stays depending on the needs of the client.

Allison was great with Buttercup and took very good care of him. She kept us updated on his behavior and sent us loads of pictures.
Allison did a great job with the twice-daily drop-in visits for my cat, while I was away for four days. She followed the instructions I left and sent texts at the start and end of each visit. She also sent photos for every drop-in and replied to my texts promptly. She was reliable, consistent and trustworthy. I felt comfortable with her on my home and caring for my cat, and I’ll hire her for my next trip without hesitation.
Allison was wonderful with my senior dog Slayer, taking her out on many excursions and sending me daily updates. Allison was also very understanding and caring about my dog’s bathroom needs and sleeping difficulties during her stay. Thank you Allison!!

Schedule
I am currently working part time, so I have flexibility to do drop in visits and walks on the weekdays with more opportunities for in-home boarding on the weekends.

- Please let me know ahead of time if your pet has specifc behavioral or health needs (including non-house trained habits, excessive chewing (i.e., shoes, furniture or other non-chewable items), anxiety or aggression). I would love to work with any and all animals regardless of their challenges, but knowing ahead of time allows me to prepare and start off on the right foot with you and your pet!
