Jennifer was absolutely FANTASTIC! If there were 10 stars to give I certainly would. The entire experience was wonderful from the initial contact, to the meet and greet with my two pups, to the drop off not to mention all the pictures and video updates. My two guys had never stayed away from home and I was a bit nervous at first to leave them somewhere, but Jennifer put the little guys right at ease! I would definitely recommend Jennifer! She is amazing!

Susana was fabulous with Daisy! I received daily updates with a sweet photo of how she was doing including lots of walks and cuddling. Susana is well versed in dog behavior so she was able to comfortably have Daisy along with a couple of other dogs and monitor their behavior closely during her stay. Daisy was well cared for and seemed very happy during her stay. I would absolutely book Susana again!

Our dog recently completed a 10 day stay and loves it here. Plenty of room to roam in an expansive back yard. Attentive treatment from a caring boarder. Plenty of social time with a few good friends including Jade’s own sweet dogs. What more could your very own “best friend” ask for?

Elle was great! I went on a cruise and needed to find somewhere for my dogs to go where they would be taken care of and not stuck in a cage. From the beginning Elle was accommodating and reassuring that our dogs would be okay. When I came home and picked up my dogs they were worn out from all the playing they did and I know I couldn't have gotten that kind of care from anywhere else. Hyper and playful dogs need plenty of run around time and Elle made sure they got that!

About: I worked at a pet boarding facility for a 7 years before I moved. I am a fast learner and choose to have the pet accept me before moving on to anything else. I shadowed groomers and vets to be sure the road I was taking would assure me happiness with animals and still plenty of time with my own animals. Working with the boarding facility I learned pets are different without there parents and can act differently around them so learning their likes and dislikes personally is a must for me. I want to make sure Pets and Parents are happy with me as help. I want both parties to feel safe, happy, and well rested when staying with me. I am currently working part-time with a flexible schedule. I would be able to come for an early morning and evening walk or adventure if needed. I have two dogs that are high energy. We often go to parks, take long walks, or swimming during hot days. I do have a kennel and a large vehicle for transport.

Our experience with Zuri was wonderful from start to finish. She was able to take our two dogs on short notice for a few days. She was incredibly accommodating to the needs and energy levels of our 8 year old malipoo and 1 year old boston terrier. She was able to provide medication for our maltipoo. Zuri was very flexible with pick up and drop off times which made leaving and returning from our trip a breeze. She kept us up to date with adorable pictures and videos of our dogs enjoying extra love, cuddles, and play time. Both dogs felt right at home cuddled up on the couch. Our boston terrier especially loved her dog Bonnie and her daughter. She and her daughter provided a safe and loving home for our babies while we were away! I would highly recommend Zuri if you ever need a dog sitter during the day or overnight

Arielle was amazing!!! This was our first time ever leaving our fur baby with anyone other than family! She made us feel so at ease & remained in contact with us throughout his stay! She sent us pictures so we could see how he was doing & it looked like he was on vacation!!! She accepted him last minute & he came home so content & exhausted from his playtime! We have definitely found Opi’s home away from home!!! If you’re looking for an awesome sitter for your fur baby, look no further!!!

About: I’ve owned and fostered both dogs and cats my entire life. I understand how stressful it can be finding someone to watch your pet when you travel- I’d love to help ease some of that. I’m comfortable administering medications and navigating the different needs of your pets. I’m currently working part time from home. I have a fully fenced in backyard and I’m home more than I’m not. I’m also training for a marathon so if you have a dog that enjoys longer walks or short runs I’d be happy to take them out for those! My yard is fully fenced and my home is kept clean. I can crate your dog or give them a separate space if that’s easier. I will follow your lead to make your dog or cat as comfortable as possible.

About: I have years of experience caring for small and medium sized dogs and am the owner of two friendly pups, Minion, a 12 year old Lhasa Apso mix, and Gizmo, a 5 year old mini poodle. Because I focus exclusively on dogs under 40 pounds, I am highly familiar with the unique temperaments and safety needs of small and medium breeds. Working from home full time allows me to provide constant, dedicated supervision throughout the day, easily keeping up with your dog's specific feeding and bathroom schedules while keeping their anxiety low. Your dog will also have access to a fully fenced backyard, offering a completely secure space to get fresh air, stretch their legs, and enjoy supervised outdoor playtime with Minion and Gizmo without any risk of escaping. Whether your dog has high energy or is a calm companion who just wants to nap by my desk while I work, I provide a peaceful, attentive environment tailored to making them feel safe and right at home. Since I work from home full time, pet care is seamlessly integrated into my daily routine. My workday is structured around the dogs, meaning guest pets are never left unattended and receive constant companionship. Throughout the day, I take regular breaks to step away from my screen and supervise outdoor playtime in my fully fenced backyard. Your dog will join my own friendly pups, Minion, a 12 year old Lhasa Apso mix, and Gizmo, a 5 year old mini poodle, for a consistent schedule of morning feeds, afternoon backyard romps, and plenty of desk side company while I work. Because my schedule is highly flexible, I can easily adapt to your dog's specific feeding, bathroom, or exercise timelines without any disruption to my work week. Trust and safety are the foundation of how I operate, which is why I provide care exclusively in my own home where I can maintain total oversight. To guarantee a secure environment, I strictly enforce a 40 pound weight limit for all guests. This ensures everyone is evenly matched with my own friendly dogs, Minion, a 12 year old Lhasa Apso mix, and Gizmo, a 5 year old mini poodle, eliminating the safety risks and anxiety that come with mixing large and small breeds. Because I work from home full time, your dog will never be left unattended and will receive constant supervision. Outdoor time is restricted to a fully fenced backyard where I am always physically present to monitor play and bathroom breaks. I build trust with owners through transparent communication, regular photo updates, and precise adherence to your dog's established feeding and routine instructions, providing a predictable and protective environment where your pet can feel completely safe.

Rebecca was great. She took the time to meet Boon (Border Collie Mix), get to know him, and listen to what he needed for care. She took him into her home and her two dogs created a comfortable spot for Boon over a long weekend. Rebecca was on time, available, clear in her communication, and flexible when needed.

There are 193 sitters on Rover for Pet Boarding in Philomath. About 90% of Philomath sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you’re planning ahead for holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day coverage for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in OR ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.

If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
