I recently boarded my two small dogs with Ying for a long weekend. From the many pictures and videos sent to me from Ying, I could see that my dogs were well taken care of and they seemed happy. I would certainly use YING’s boarding services again.

Our dogs love, Tori! Her fenced back yard is like a giant playground for our Lab (who loves Tori’s sweet girl, Mona!) and is easy for our older dog to get around in, as well. They were so excited when we pulled in for our second visit that I couldn’t get the leash off our dog before she and Mona were off and playing! We’re looking forward to the next over night visit while we’re on vacation. Such peace of mind to know they’re in a safe and loving environment while we’re away! Thank you, Tori!!

Cecelia watched our dog Hobbes, and it seems he enjoyed his stay! She sent pictures of him to update us, and he had the run of her back yard. Would definitely recommend Cecelia!

Erin did an exceptional job of communicating with me about how Mitzi was doing during their first time together. Without my asking- Erin sent photos of Mitzi with a brief comment. I will definitely use Erin again if the need arises.

Pickle (the dog) and Rhubarb (the cat) seemed to really enjoy their stay. I think Pickle really enjoyed having more playmates, and Rhubarb discovered the wonder of a catio. Joshua was communicative, we got some nice updates and some photos, and the boys are readjusting to home life well. I really appreciated that Joshua suggested a half-day test-run to make sure that Pickle (who is a fairly small dog) wouldn't find his larger ones intimidating or stressful, and that Rhubarb would be okay with being in a new place like that in general. I did know Pickle seemed to loved all dogs he met regardless of size, and that Rhubarb was unusually adaptable for a cat, but even so I was a lot more comfortable leaving them for multiple days already knowing they'd already taken being there well! Next time we need to be away from them, we're likely to make the same choice.

Our 2 girls were very well taken care of for the 4 days they were at Josh & Jennifer’s. We received pictures & videos of them having a grand time. We missed them so much, but it helped knowing they were treated so great!

Mari and her family took such great care of our 11yr old lab. Loved all the photo updates, flexibility and communication during the stay - but was especially so impressed the way they made Pepper feel right at home and a part of their family. I could tell he loved his stay and we're excited to have a great place for Pepper to stay when we travel.

About: Animals have been a part of my life for over 30 years, and caring for them has become my lifelong passion. For the past five years, I’ve run my own professional pet-care business, building long-term relationships with clients who value trust, reliability, and genuine love for their pets. At Gentle Paws Home Care, I provide a calm, nurturing environment where dogs can feel safe, relaxed, and at home. Whether your pet is staying with me or I’m caring for them in your home, they’ll enjoy gentle routines, quiet walks, soft places to rest, and plenty of affection. For dogs who need a little more activity, I also offer my signature adventure walks—hour-and-a-half off-leash excursions that let your pup explore, play, and connect with nature in a balanced, mindful way. My references reflect the consistency, compassion, and professionalism I bring to every animal I care for. Your pet’s comfort, safety, and happiness are always my top priority. With over 30 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages and personalities, I’ve learned how to make them feel safe, loved, and understood. To me, dogs aren’t just pets — they’re people with their own unique personalities, and I take pride in giving them the care and attention they deserve. I run volunteer groups at Zumwalt park and take a lot of pride in our doggy community there. In my home, pets are truly part of the family. I’m with them the entire time, so they’re never left feeling lonely. I have plenty of cozy dog beds throughout the house, and if your pup prefers, they’re always welcome to snuggle up in my bed at night. We enjoy two large walks a day (and often a third smaller evening stroll), along with snacks, games, and fun activities to keep them happy and engaged. When I provide care in a client’s home, I do my best to stick closely to the routine and schedule you’ve set. I know how important consistency is, so I keep things as normal and comfortable as possible while making sure your dog feels safe, loved, and cared for every step of the way.

About: I’ve had dogs in the past; loved them and walked them every day. I’ve trained puppies before on how to walk on a lease and more. I’ll be able to give them lots of attention in the morning and afternoons/evenings. I work a flex schedule, but the flexibility allows me to make my own schedule. On the weekends I’ll be with your pet full time. I have a fenced front and back yard. I will walk them and feed them on their schedule. I’ll probably love them too much to and take too many pictures.

Momo had great time staying at Alex's, made friends and playing with her friendly dogs while I was gone. Originally I chose Alex this time was because her dogs and giant yard that I know Momo really loves. Her picking up and dropping off Momo was a surprise I really appreciated. On top of her kind and friendly like other dog sitters on Rover, I would also say she is professional, because she does this full time, I bet Momo got a lot more attention with Alex than at home. I highly recommend Alex to anyone who is occasionally not available for their dogs.

Julie provided a perfect place for Harriet to stay during a weekend visit to Eugene. Great updates from Julie throughout the visit. The weekend was also very hot, but Julie was prepared keeping the AC on in the room for the pups and plenty of outside water activities for Harriet who loves water. Harriet felt very at home at Julie's!

Malaia is the best sitter I have ever had. She kept me continuously updated on the care of my senior dog. She kept reassuring me that my fur baby was in good hands. My dog liked her and her fur babies from the moment they first met. I will let her keep my dog again very soon. I really like that the dogs have a nice yard to play in. She followed my instructions of giving my dog his food and medicine very well.

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Pet Boarding in Veneta on Rover is $35.31 per night (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Pet Boarding easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Pet Boarding. For more information on service fees, click here .

There are 299 sitters on Rover for Pet Boarding in Veneta. About 92% of Veneta sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you’re planning ahead for holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day coverage for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in OR ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.

If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
