About: I value a pet’s quality of life more than anything else! In my life I have successfully cared for and loved many pets, great and small, young and old. It would be my honor to care for your pet and provide your peace of mind while you’re away. Please note before requesting a meet&greet: I cannot host dogs who do not 100% get along with other animals! I have a very social, 60lb Ibizan/red heeler mix fixed male dog who lives at the house full time. Ghost is friendly, kind, and excellent company for any nervous pets who prefer companionship. I am at home full time and attend to my own dog’s needs throughout the day. I’d be happy to welcome your pet into our gentle and consistent routines. Guaranteed happiness and comfort! I am a person who thrives on routine and structure, and usually pets do too, so my home environment is very mellow and consistent. Your pet will feel secure knowing I’m reliable with those treats, walks, and anything else they might need! My neighborhood is quiet and has sidewalks for safe walks, but I also have a fully fenced backyard preferable for zoomies.

Your pet would be in loving hands and treated the way you would want!
About: I’ve been around animals my whole life and have had my own dogs for over 12 years! I truly love caring for dogs and treat every one of them like they’re my own. My schedule is flexible, and I’m happy to help with walks, potty breaks, feedings, medications, or just spending time keeping your pup company. I always make sure they have plenty of water, attention, and (if allowed) a few tasty treats! I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and ages — from playful puppies to sweet seniors who need a little extra care. And if you have cats, I’d love to visit and care for them too! Please feel free to message me to check my availability — I’d love to meet you and your pets! 🐾 I recently moved to Eugene, OR and am currently looking for full-time work, so I have open flexibility to fit your busy schedule! Check my availability for more details — I’d love to help care for your pets! 🐾 Your dog will be the only in my home. Your fur baby will be around 4 cats that have been around dogs. Must enjoy cats.
About: Hi, I'm Madeline! I'm always active taking my dogs for long walks and hikes, or to the local dog parks. I'm a lifelong dog lover, and proud dog mom. While I’m new to Rover, I bring years of trusted experience walking and sitting dogs of all breeds, sizes, and ages from playful 8-week-old puppies to wise 13-year-old seniors. The dogs I'm carrying in the photos have been family to me since they were pups, and ones I've had the pleasure of looking out for. Friends and family have relied on me time and time again, one even called me a dog whisperer after watching me connect with their strong-willed pointer mix! I’ve studied basic training techniques through a puppy obedience course, guidance from a professional trainer, and good ol' YouTube. These tools help me better understand each dog’s energy and needs, whether they’re high-reactive adventurers or mellow cuddlebugs. My goal is always to make your dog feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you're away. Let’s set up a meet-and-greet because I’d love to connect with you and your pup! Whether your pet needs regular daily walks, last-minute check-ins, or extended sitting while you're out of town, I’m here to help. My open availability means I can easily accommodate your pet’s routine and make sure they get consistent care and attention. I've had the pleasure of dog sitting and walking for close friends and family, always making sure to follow any specific instructions provided. Since summer days can get especially hot, I’m always prepared by carrying a bag with essentials like water, a bowl, treats, poop bags, and a frisbee. For my dogs, if the pavement is too hot (I always check with the back of my hand), they wear protective boots to prevent burns, and if you're dog has some little booties, I'll make sure their paws stay protected and take frequent shade breaks. On those extra hot days when it’s safer to stay indoors, I make sure my dogs still get their energy out with games, enrichment toys, and fun training tricks. I love keeping things playful while prioritizing safety and well-being.

“Emily's cat-sitting services exceeded my expectations. At the meet and greet she asked for vet info in case of an emergency and asked about my cat's health so she could monitor for any issues. She was extremely warm, kind, and compassionate. She deeply cared for my cat and texted while she was here to let me know how the check-in was going and ask questions. We are thrilled to recommend Emily to others and looking forward to having her as our long-term sitter. Thank you Emily for your impeccable service and care!”

About: All types of animals (cats, dogs, guinea pigs, rabbits, horses, llamas, goats, sheep) have been part of my life forever. I love all animals, most of them more than humans! Currently 2 large dogs, 3 cats, 4 chickens and 1 human are my "family". Previously I lived on 36 acres and took care of my horse, 2 donkeys, a herd of goats and chickens. I recently retired and am looking to fill some of my time taking care of your animals and home. I am happy to take care of any types of animal and will provide love and care for your pets while your away. I recently retired from being an insurance agent for 20 years and am very flexible with my time and can be available for short or longer stays. I will take great care of your pets, will administer medications, walk them or play ball, keep them company while your gone. And I will treat your home and belongings with respect and keep it clean and safe.
“Great job caring for my Nico! Gave him the potty break and energy release he needed during my long work days! Will be using in the future for sure! Thank you again for all your help, and being so helpful!”

About: Growing up, my family had a bichon frisé, and I’ve absolutely loved dogs ever since! I had a senior dog from 2019 to 2023 (RIP Elvis ❤️), so I have experience caring for senior dogs. I have also walked and dogsat for hundreds of dogs through another dog-walking app as well as cared for friends’ dogs while they’ve been away. I’ve cared for dogs of all ages, from puppies to senior dogs, and of all sizes, from yorkies to Rottweilers. I’ll always be sure to provide your pet with the best care possible! 🐾🐶 I work an 8:30 to 5 job during the week, but I am available after 5 on weekdays and mostly any time on the weekends. I have a small fenced yard and live just one block off of the bosque river walking trail which is very dog-friendly and great for helping your dog get some exercise!
About: I recently moved back in to the area from California. We are still getting our bearings off the city and finding new places to play and explore As a disabled veteran and single mom, i am home most of the time, outside of some time at the gym or taking my 3 year old to the park. She loves animals, is quite gentle, and is never just left with animals alone. She tends to be helpful in filling Lola's bowl with water and food and tossing a treat to show some love. If kids are not okay, I am child free Saturday through Sunday afternoons, for those times when you need to be doggy free. Fresh water is provided inside and out on the deck to bask, as well as a constant eye when not out for a walk. I tend to avoid dog parks with other people's pets under my watch, I'd prefer to maintain a safe and predictable environment.
About: I have taken care of dogs of various sizes and breads since I was five years old. My neighbors and friends trust me to take impeccable care for their pets. I am currently in college and I work part-time three days a week. Although, I have quite a bit of free time and in that time I usually like to workout or try new things. Occasionally my family and I go to bend on the weekends. I do not have a fenced yard but I do have a property that Is not heavily populated by cars on the road. I also have three varying sized crates as well as two dogs. My dogs are let out every 1-2 hours. One of my dogs is crated when I am not home and my other dog does not have to be crated. In my clients home, I will care for their pets like my client would normally and I will ensure that their home is left clean.
About: We've taken care of dogs for many years. Neighbors and friends rely on us to walk, drop in on, and host their pups. We currently don't have a dog of our own and cherish each of our guests that much more! I work in a home office in the yard and my husband is home all day. We have all the day to keep your pup occupied and when our 2 kids get home from school, your dog will get playtime, loving, petting, walking, and more snuggling! We have a fully fenced yard and welcome your pet anywhere in the house. We live in a lovely neighborhood with lots of green space to run and play.
“Elizabeth was awesome and able to take on a drop in to come let my dogs out last minute. She was on time and sent me lots of photos of them and it looks like they definitely enjoyed hanging out with her. We look forward to hopefully using Elizabeth as our pet sitter in the future! ☺️”
About: At this point in my life, I have cared for almost any domestic, exotic or farm animal that one can run into! Time spent working with snakes and spiders in a reptile shop, working on farms with cattle, goats and chickens, and caring for everyones furry companions like cats, dogs and rodents in homes has left me feeling well prepared to handle whatever critters come our way. My remaining pet is Sharkbait, a 9 year old heeler mix, who has been the everywhere and everything dog with me for the last 8+ years. She has met all of the above animals in her time and is the ultimate friend to all. As a retired service animal, she is kind and intuitive while responding calmly to reactive animals she meets. This makes her the perfect travel companion and buddy for all your babies and she will always be with me on sitting and walking jobs as she and I like to stay very active, walking anywhere from 2-6 miles daily together. Lets chat about your animals specific needs and background! Being active is a huge part of my day and I love making sure your animals are included in that! Walks to the park and jogs around the block are my favorite way to keep your pets focus while expending that pent up energy. For homebody pets I love a good puzzle or snuffle toy to keep their minds working in their safe space. Meet and greets together as a family are priority so that when you're out of town or at work, your pet(s) can trust Sharkbait and I are there to support them. Any candid tips and tricks around behaviors or routines are welcomed.

“Bonnie is amazing, and so determined to do the best job! We asked her very last minute to visit our home for a few days and do our cats insulin shots and she quickly replied absolutely. This was the first time we've left for a few days since she was diagnosed a year ago and our cat ended up being very stressed out about the situation, despite Athenas hiding and hissing and general unpleasantness Bonnie got the job done! She even did my other cat Milly's medications for us and stayed and played with them. We are thrilled with everything she has done for us ♥️ Thank you Bonnie!”

Nicole is fantastic. She took great care of our dog and cat, kept us updated throughout our trip, and handled unexpected things (like a small accident and a water issue) with calm and kindness. She’s communicative, reliable, and genuinely cares about the pets she watches. We always feel at ease when she’s looking after ours. Highly recommend!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
