About: Hi, I'm Madeline! I'm always active taking my dogs for long walks and hikes, or to the local dog parks. I'm a lifelong dog lover, and proud dog mom. While I’m new to Rover, I bring years of trusted experience walking and sitting dogs of all breeds, sizes, and ages from playful 8-week-old puppies to wise 13-year-old seniors. The dogs I'm carrying in the photos have been family to me since they were pups, and ones I've had the pleasure of looking out for. Friends and family have relied on me time and time again, one even called me a dog whisperer after watching me connect with their strong-willed pointer mix! I’ve studied basic training techniques through a puppy obedience course, guidance from a professional trainer, and good ol' YouTube. These tools help me better understand each dog’s energy and needs, whether they’re high-reactive adventurers or mellow cuddlebugs. I've had the pleasure of dog sitting and walking for close friends and family, always making sure to follow any specific instructions provided. Since summer days can get especially hot, I’m always prepared by carrying a bag with essentials like water, a bowl, treats, poop bags, and a frisbee. For my dogs, if the pavement is too hot (I always check with the back of my hand), they wear protective boots to prevent burns, and if you're dog has some little booties, I'll make sure their paws stay protected and take frequent shade breaks. On those extra hot days when it’s safer to stay indoors, I make sure my dogs still get their energy out with games, enrichment toys, and fun training tricks. I love keeping things playful while prioritizing safety and well-being.

I've been caring for others creatures for over a decade and have always enjoyed making new relationships with all of them! About: I've had pets since I was born. Cats and dogs of all shapes, sizes, and age. I've spent the last 14 years with my soul dog. He was a Golden/Lab/St. Bernard with a lot of anxiety and a huge love of food. In his old age he had mobility problems, incontinence, was on several medications, and needed as much attention as I could give him. I am fully prepared to give any animal I meet the same level of love and care. I've been the main care provider for my dogs for the last 14 years and always put their needs before mine. Taking them potty is the first thing I do in the morning and the last thing I do at night. Furry friends rely on us for care and I want to make sure they are doing great. When I care for pets in your home I will follow your instructions to a T. Make sure they get lots of love, cuddles (if they like them), and attention.

I never leave dogs unattended in situations that could put them at risk, and I follow each owner’s instructions carefully regarding feeding schedules, medications, crate use, and routines. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect your space and maintain your dog’s normal routine to reduce stress. I ensure doors and gates are securely closed, use leashes on walks at all times, and remain alert to surroundings for safety. “Nathan is a truly special Rover; if you are considering extra help for your furry companion please do not hesitate! He has trained service dogs - he will be humble about this and say he is not a trainer, but regardless he clearly understands dog behavior unusually well. He has a wonderful way of just looking at my high-octane rescue pup Cappy that tells him to sit, and he recommended a collar that has been really helpful for Cappy's walks. He also showed up to walk Cappy on a day he was not pre-booked (or paid!) due to a misunderstanding, and gave him a great walk anyway. He always checks Cappy's water bowl, and his paw since he injured a claw, and I really appreciate his advice (this rescue has been a lot to handle, and I've had a lot to learn). I wanted to leave a second review for Nathan since I meant to say more the first time, and since I have had a few months working with Nathan since my first review; we were so lucky to have found him!”

About: I’ve had cats and dogs since I was a child. I’ve taken care of clients pet babies in their home. Feeding, cleaning cat litter, playing with them and administering medication. Making them feel loved while their parents are away. I also have had the opportunity to volunteer at a horse therapy program where I cleaned stables, fed the horses, washed them, brushed them and cleaned their hoofs. I also assisted the mentally and physically disabled individuals on the horses while they were doing their lessons. I am currently retired and have all the time in the world to care for your pet babies. I have a large home that would be comfy and cozy for them I have an adequate yard to take your pet Babies in. I have a bike trail to walk them in and an open area to play with them.

About: My mom raised me in a home where animals weren’t treated like “just pets” they were family. Because of that, I go above and beyond for not only my own animals, but any animal in my care. Their health, safety, and happiness matter to me. I’ll always put a lot of time, care, and attention into making sure they feel protected and cared for. As of now, I’m working as a part time hostess! I’m only working 4 days a week, 9am-2:30pm so I have a lot of free time to spend with your furr babies. Personally, when I care for others pets, my biggest thing is communication. I always follow instructions left by owners, refresh water daily, scoop litter daily, and if any accidents (potty or messes) happen I make sure to correct immediately. I also really enjoy providing photos of your furr baby!

One of my cats is older than me and has been with me my entire life, so I know very well how to take care of elderly and disabled animals, especially cats. I’ve also taken care of multiple very energetic dogs and I know how to handle their behavior. I’m very open to long play sessions or walks, but if a calm presence is what your pet needs, I am very good at providing that as well. I’m very adaptable. Whatever your pet needs, I am more than willing to do my best to give it. I’m a college student who is busy every afternoon but most mornings and almost every evening and night I am fully available for your pet. I’m completely free on the weekends as well. Understanding the signals pets use to communicate is one of the most important things to me. I value your pet’s safety and to me it is very important to know what they’re trying to say in times of crisis. I also am conscious of things in homes that may be harmful to pets, such as certain herbs, scents, or foods, and I go out of my way to ensure that pets do not make contact with anything that could be dangerous to them. Whatever your pet’s needs are, I want them to be met and for your animal to feel safe and comfortable with me and the environment.

About: Hi, my name is Isabella. I'm 19 years old and have had the pleasure of caring for and meeting many fascinating animals, including reptiles, felines, canines, and more. I am an animal enthusiast studying biology and zoology in high school. I have grown up with animals, and to this day, I have had rats, cats, dogs, and birds. I currently don’t work at the moment, which means more time to see your adorable animals! But I am planning to return to college in early September. -My availability is 9am-5pm, Monday-Friday. Since I am home most of my day, I spend a lot of time with my animals. Our routine starts as follows: wet food for herbiee in the morning and for Tutsi FreshPet I refill their water with the coldest and clean the dish every morning. I take Tutsi out and come back to pet Herbert. Usually we just relax and cuddle until it’s time to pick up my boyfriend from work.

About: I grew up taking care of my three dogs as well as friends and families pets as needed. I have been responsible for house sitting, walking and bathing dogs for about 2 years. I am currently home for summer break from university of Oregon. I don’t have a job at the moment so I have a ton of available especially during the week. On the walks and check in with your pets I will make sure to care for them and give them some attention. During boarding and check ins I will make sure to hide treats to make it fun and engaging.
