About: I was an animal lover from the start, from dogs and cats, to goats, pigs and parrots, I was raised with them all. I particularly enjoy training dogs and making sure they get a balance of play, stimulation exercise, and lots of love. I’m very consistent and communicative and I send updates, videos and pictures through your animals stay. Rest assured your babies are in loving hands with me! I am fortunate to work from home, this leaves me available most of the week and weekends to play, walk, and snuggle, with your critter. I care for your fur baby as if they were my own so I like to do the things that have your pet be most comfortable in my home. I have had dogs who are crate trained, I’ve had others who sleep with me on my bed, and others prefer to roam and find a spot of their own. My home is their home. I have a fenced yard with grass to run, sniff and of course potty, as well as some toys for playtime. I walk daily and love a pup to keep me company! I also enjoy training dogs on leash or off (inside) in support of the pet parent. If that is not your thing or your pup is older and just needs a safe quiet place to be while you are gone, I adore all the snuggles, chill time and sleepy heads too. About: I've been lucky to have dogs in my life for as long as I can remember, that is 50+ years of wagging tails. I’m waiting for my results from taking the bar, so I’m free all day, every day until the end of September. I can make pretty much any schedule work for me! I have a cat who would be very nervous about brining other pets into the house, so I can’t have pets in my own home. However, I am happy and excited to care for pets in your home! Cats need 1-2 hours of play time per day, and I make sure to provide that to my cat, and would make sure your cat got that, too. I’d love for you to share your cat’s typical active hours (for instance, my cat is high energy between 9-11am, and 4-5pm) so that I can be around during that time. :) Regarding dogs, I know exercise needs vary greatly, but I love the outdoors and would be happy to drive your dog to parks or hiking trails to make sure they get their exercise in! I am a very calm person and animals typically respond to that by mirroring my energy—I find animals are drawn to be because I don’t yell, get overly excited, or move suddenly. About: I helped raise our family dog, a golden doodle for his 10 years so far with us. We also just brought in a stray puppy in January, so I am familiar with the puppy stage. He was probably 3 months when we got him and he’s now a year old at least. I am currently free all day everyday during the summer. However when the year starts when I will be free after school on weekdays, because I plan to substitute teach. I will still be available weekends though. I love all animals and I promise to do my best to keep your animals safe. I am organized and will follow the directions I am given to keep your animals safe.

“Josh was Incredible! My dog, Ziggy, is a bit apprehensive meeting new people and especially welcoming people into our home. Josh listened to my requests for their first meeting and had such good vibes and body language that it was a mere matter of minutes before Ziggy was literally eating out of his hands and Ziggy had no problem with Josh following us upstairs and hanging out inside. I didn't doubt for a second that Josh could handle Ziggy's antics and his strength on the leash. Josh sent daily updates and pictures of Ziggy out on walks and snuggling with him on the couch. I had a friend checking in on my kitty but Josh noticed that she (the cat) had thrown up in the spare room and not only let me know about it, and kept an eye on her mood/behaviors but even took it upon himself to clean up the mess! About: I love all critters and have an especially soft place in my heart for the elderly and/or disabled. Visiting with critters is always the highlight of my day. I move slowly, carefully, speak softly, so my energy is a great fit for older or anxious animals. I love them all, and every step. Greeting, walking, playing, chilling, pets and massage, special diets, and I have no problem helping administer medicine or any extra special care that is needed. It would be an honor to be of service for you and your fur baby :) I am flexible and available, single, no kids, and also a home care worker. I only work 4 hour shifts, so pet care can very easily fit in and around my other work schedule. When I meet you and your pet, you can show me the care routine, and I will confirm that I understand every step. What works well is if the supplies are visible and steps are also written down and left somewhere I can refer to if needed. I will take photos to either text or email you while I am at your home with an update for each visit.

About: I've been cat-sitting for family friends and neighbors since I was around 7 or 8 and am very comfortable working with them. I've had cats in my house with me since I was born. I've also been around a lot of different kinds (and personalities!) of dogs since I was little--a lot of my friends and family have dogs and I love walking and playing with them. I'm a UO student looking for fun ways to make a little bit of money and meet some new furry friends. I have lots of time in between classes for walks, drop ins, and I ALWAYS have time for dog cuddles! I work and play with pets differently depending on how comfortable they are with me--I will play with more excitable dogs and cats in a more high energy way than with pets who are more calm, and I will not force a pet to play or interact with me if they feel threatened (as some more skittish dogs and cats might). Above all I will always make sure that the pets are safe and that their comfort is prioritized over my desire to play with them.

I home-school my gifted 3rd grader and work super-part time with my government job. This means I'm very flexible! I can mold my day around your furbabies schedule. **I can do doggy day care or over nights at my home for well established clients only.** I have a fully fenced, dog and child-centric acre with grass and gravel, sun and shade. I keep all gates closed or locked. With the exception of the doggy door so pups have freedom to come in from the elements or to go out for fresh air and potty breaks.
