She not only read through his Binder I left out for her but also did some of the training activitiestfrom his Binder. She sent me photos and videos of my lil guy so that I could vicariously be apart of his day. As an added bonus, I noticed that she even put his toys away. Im so used to his toys being all over the place so it was just a nice surprise to see them tucked away so neatly. About: I was an animal lover from the start, from dogs and cats, to goats, pigs and parrots, I was raised with them all. I particularly enjoy training dogs and making sure they get a balance of play, stimulation exercise, and lots of love. I’m very consistent and communicative and I send updates, videos and pictures through your animals stay. Rest assured your babies are in loving hands with me! I am fortunate to work from home, this leaves me available most of the week and weekends to play, walk, and snuggle, with your critter. I care for your fur baby as if they were my own so I like to do the things that have your pet be most comfortable in my home. I have had dogs who are crate trained, I’ve had others who sleep with me on my bed, and others prefer to roam and find a spot of their own. My home is their home. I have a fenced yard with grass to run, sniff and of course potty, as well as some toys for playtime. I walk daily and love a pup to keep me company! I also enjoy training dogs on leash or off (inside) in support of the pet parent. If that is not your thing or your pup is older and just needs a safe quiet place to be while you are gone, I adore all the snuggles, chill time and sleepy heads too. I have hands-on experience caring for dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, and other small animals through both personal ownership and animal care work. Aside from occasional appointments and errands, I'm home throughout the day. Caring for animals is already a part of my daily routine, as I have pets of my own with established care schedules. Adding your pet into that routine allows me to provide consistent feeding, potty breaks, playtime, exercise, medication (if needed), and plenty of companionship. I always work to maintain your pet's normal routine as closely as possible so they feel safe and comfortable while you're away. Your pet's safety, comfort, and well-being are always my top priorities. I take the time to learn each pet's routine, personality, medical needs, and any household rules so I can provide care that's both safe and consistent. In my home, I maintain a clean, pet-friendly environment and closely supervise interactions. I carefully introduce new situations at each pet's comfort level and never leave animals in unsafe situations. When caring for pets in a client's home, I treat both the home and the animals with the same respect and care I would expect for my own. I follow feeding schedules, medication instructions, exercise routines, and any specific care requests exactly as directed. I also provide regular updates with photos so you can have peace of mind while you're away. As a pre-veterinary student, I'm attentive to changes in an animal's behavior or health and won't hesitate to contact you—and, if necessary, seek veterinary care—if I have concerns.

About: I’ve had dogs, cats, and all kinds of farm animals my entire life as I grew up on a cattle ranch in southern Oregon. Two of my dogs and one of my cats had complex medical needs, so I have additional experience giving oral medication to cats and dogs, and caring for dogs during seizures. I love animals and am committed to making sure they get enough exercise and play time. I am a very calm person and animals typically respond to that by mirroring my energy—I find animals are drawn to be because I don’t yell, get overly excited, or move suddenly. I know how to respond to animals when they are nervous about meeting new people and have experience dealing with dogs that have mild to moderate behavioral issues. I’m waiting for my results from taking the bar, so I’m free all day, every day until the end of September. I can make pretty much any schedule work for me! I have a cat who would be very nervous about brining other pets into the house, so I can’t have pets in my own home. However, I am happy and excited to care for pets in your home! Cats need 1-2 hours of play time per day, and I make sure to provide that to my cat, and would make sure your cat got that, too. I’d love for you to share your cat’s typical active hours (for instance, my cat is high energy between 9-11am, and 4-5pm) so that I can be around during that time. :) Regarding dogs, I know exercise needs vary greatly, but I love the outdoors and would be happy to drive your dog to parks or hiking trails to make sure they get their exercise in! About: I’ve had animals my whole life and have cared for them through every stage of life. I raised both of my dogs from puppies. One lived to be 18, and the other was with me for 15 years. I also raised a cat from a kitten who lived to be 16 and adopted an adult cat who stayed with me well into her senior years. Caring for my own pets from their earliest days through their senior years gave me experience with everything from puppy and kitten care, to medications, mobility changes, and noticing the little things that can make a big difference in their comfort and quality of life. Friends and family have always counted on me to care for their pets while they’re away, so I’m comfortable with a wide variety of personalities, routines, and medical needs. I know every pet is different, and my goal is to help yours feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I work full-time Monday through Friday (8-5), but I have a flexible schedule that allows me to offer several services throughout the week. Dog walks: My favorite service! Available most weekdays early before work, during lunch (for nearby clients), and after work. I’m also available for walks throughout most weekends. House sitting: I have the most flexibility on weekends, but I can also be available for house sitting during the week with advance notice. If you have reliable Wi-Fi and are comfortable with it, I’m able to work remotely from your home so your pet can enjoy extra company while staying in their normal routine. Drop-in visits: Available during weekday lunch breaks for nearby clients, as well as on weekends. If you’re unsure whether your schedule will work with mine, feel free to reach out. I’m happy to see if we can make it work! I believe pets are happiest in their own home, where they can keep their normal routine. I’ll follow your care instructions closely, including feeding, walks, medications, and anything else that helps your pet feel comfortable. I've had the pleasure of dog sitting and walking for close friends and family, always making sure to follow any specific instructions provided. Since summer days can get especially hot, I’m always prepared by carrying a bag with essentials like water, a bowl, treats, poop bags, and a frisbee. For my dogs, if the pavement is too hot (I always check with the back of my hand), they wear protective boots to prevent burns, and if you're dog has some little booties, I'll make sure their paws stay protected and take frequent shade breaks. On those extra hot days when it’s safer to stay indoors, I make sure my dogs still get their energy out with games, enrichment toys, and fun training tricks. I love keeping things playful while prioritizing safety and well-being.
