About: I have always had an affinity for animals, and have always had them in my life. My first dog was a keeshound mix named Katrinka, since then I have had a wide variety of animal friends, from ferrets to horses. As an adult I worked as a vet tech and organic dog treat baker These days I am a working artist and have fewer animals, in the interest of being able to travel and create. Pet sitting allows me to enjoy the company of a wide variety of animals, without the long term commitment. In addition to pet sitting in your home, I am available for daily drop-in visits to get your pup out for a run, change litter boxes + water, or just give them some company while you are at work. About: I’ve had pets all my life and have worked as a nutritionist at a holistic pet store for close to 4 years. I love animals and I love interacting with them! I currently work a part time job that only gives me 20-25 hours a week. Other than that I am completely available, as long as it fits into my current schedule. I cannot take animals into my own apartment, but I am more than happy to care for animals in their own home. I am well experienced in keeping a close eye on animals and love communicating with owners about their pets wellbeing.

I just got home and was so happy to see my boys happy with clean litter, food, and water upon my return. She sends great check-ins with lots of pictures and it’s obvious she dedicates quality time to your pets. She played with my boys and gave treats on every visit. I like to peek in on the cats via my cameras when I’m gone and they disconnected one day due to a WiFi outage, and she even came over an extra day to reset my WiFi so I could see them. About: I've grown up around and cared for all sorts of animals all my life, especially dogs and cats. I've been dog sitting specifically for around 2 years, including caring for elderly dogs with strict needs/ medical issues, and anxious dogs. Despite mostly sitting for dogs at this point I'm also well versed with cats (having one of my own). I am a full-time college student, so while that takes up some time I am free Monday's, Wednesday's and Friday's anytime after 2 and fully on the weekends. I make sure to follow their needs closely, keeping them on schedule with feeding, medications if necessary, etc. If an animal needs lots of interaction I make sure to give them as much attention as they want and if they don't then I make sure they're given the space they need. The individual animals care it of utmost importance and I make sure to individualize my care based on what each specific animal needs :)

About: I am an experienced pet sitter and a true animal lover :) I have provided caring and compassionate pet care for the cats and dogs of my friends, family members and neighbors for several years. Previously, I have worked for a dog-walking agency and have received formal First Aid training in pet care. My work schedule varies day to day, which means our schedule will depend on the day and the service being provided. When I am working from home, I am able to provide frequent potty breaks, tons of play time and scheduled feedings as requested by the humans! About: I helped raise our family dog, a golden doodle for his 10 years so far with us. We also just brought in a stray puppy in January, so I am familiar with the puppy stage. He was probably 3 months when we got him and he’s now a year old at least. I am currently free all day everyday during the summer. However when the year starts when I will be free after school on weekdays, because I plan to substitute teach. I will still be available weekends though. I love all animals and I promise to do my best to keep your animals safe. I am organized and will follow the directions I am given to keep your animals safe.

About: I have been pet/house sitting since June 2017. I grew up with three labs, and am slightly biased toward larger dogs, but have met some wonderful smaller dogs and have grown to love them as well. I am happy to accommodate to the pet's needs (i.e. early mornings, lots of playtime, special needs, low energy, medications etc.) I enjoy the outdoors and am available for walks and am particularly interested in something regular - like a couple scheduled times per week. I also love cats, I have one of my own, and have experience administering medication. I currently work part-time in the nonprofit sector and am wanting to supplement my income with more work that I love! Rosa is a wonderful cat sitter! She’s really taken the time to understand my cat, her personality, emotional cues, and boundaries. My cat generally hides from strangers but now comes running to Rosa for pets when she comes over. Rosa has also been very accommodating and will continue to be my first choice for future bookings. Joshua is the best. My dog can be super protective but the two of them clicked immediately, feeding off Joshua's energy and dog-expertise. My kitty is nervous in her own ways but I always coming back knowing that she felt safe with his presence as well. I can't recommend Joshua enough, he has been such a savior when I have to be away from my two favorite critters and gives me peace of mind with updates and reassurances that he can handle whatever my goobers throw his way.
I highly recommend Sophia. Excellent communicator and provided regular updates, photos of Junie. Gave updates on how Junie’s day was going when she drops in and how she spent her time with her. Junie was in a great company and hands while I was away. Sophia was timely and very responsible during her drop in visits with Junie.

sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
