Domestic and exotic animal lover!
At this point in my life, I have cared for almost any domestic, exotic or farm animal that one can run into! Time spent working with snakes and spiders in a reptile shop, working on farms with cattle, goats and chickens, and caring for everyones furry companions like cats, dogs and rodents in homes has left me feeling well prepared to handle whatever critters come our way. My remaining pet is Sharkbait, a 9 year old heeler mix, who has been the everywhere and everything dog with me for the last 8+ years. She has met all of the above animals in her time and is the ultimate friend to all. As a retired service animal, she is kind and intuitive while responding calmly to reactive animals she meets. This makes her the perfect travel companion and buddy for all your babies and she will always be with me on sitting and walking jobs as she and I like to stay very active, walking anywhere from 2-6 miles daily together. Lets chat about your animals specific needs and background!

Meet and greets together as a family are priority so that when you're out of town or at work, your pet(s) can trust Sharkbait and I are there to support them. Any candid tips and tricks around behaviors or routines are welcomed.

It can be a bit scary to trust a brand new person with your house and your dog, but upon meeting LJ I knew I could be at peace while I was away. LJ was a fantastic dog and house sitter, easily reachable, and always providing updates on our baby girl. Our dog can have issues with other dogs but LJ and LJ’s pup both really navigated Leia’s dog insecurities and helped her feel safe while we were away. I will definitely be going back to LJ for future dog and house sitting!!
LJ was awesome to work with! Very accommodating and helpful in figuring out our drop-in needs :) LJ also spent a lot of time getting to know our pup Violet and help her adjust to meeting a new doggy friend. Would definitely recommend their service!

Louise has been watching my German Shepard for many years when I go out of town and they are peas in a pod! They always make sure my Ruby is safe and calm before they leave and fills me in after each visit. Even when Ruby got off the leash at the park and went for a walk about they handled it so well and were able to recall her and bring her back safe!
Louise is very caring of their dog and has a good bond with animals. They understand that each dog has its own personality and needs and is willing to accommodate that. They take their dog out frequently and value good health and exercise.

Schedule
Being active is a huge part of my day and I love making sure your animals are included in that! Walks to the park and jogs around the block are my favorite way to keep your pets focus while expending that pent up energy. For homebody pets I love a good puzzle or snuffle toy to keep their minds working in their safe space.
