One was a senior rescue and the other is a 3 year old rescue. Because of this, I do have experience working with senior dogs and administering medication to dogs. I have 15 years of experience caring for both dogs and cats. About: I've had dogs my entire life and have always loved just being around animals. While I'm away from home, I'd love to spend some time with dogs and help give them the best possible time I can! I'm a college student, so my schedule shifts a bit with the seasons, but pet care fits in easily either way. Before any visit, I like to get a clear understanding of the pet's routine, any commands they know, leash behavior, and specific instructions from the owner. During walks, I keep dogs securely leashed, stay aware of traffic and other animals, and avoid unfamiliar areas that could pose risks. For house sitting and drop-ins, I treat the client's home with the same care and respect as I would my own, making sure doors and gates are securely closed, food and water are refreshed as needed, and any medications or special routines are followed exactly as instructed.
