Beyond dogs, I care for chickens—handling their more intensive daily needs and supervising their interactions with my dogs—as well as an axolotl, which requires careful tank maintenance and close attention to safety. Overall, I’m patient, observant, and confident with a wide range of animals, and I treat every pet like my own. I have classes throughout the week but I am excited to work around my academic schedule to include time for your pets who deserve the best care and necessary attention! I always prioritize safety, comfort, and clear communication when caring for pets in my home or a client’s home. I take time to understand each pet’s routine, personality, and needs so I can maintain their normal environment and prevent any stress. I monitor pets closely during walks, feedings, and playtime, use positive reinforcement, and make sure they’re never left in unsafe situations. I handled everything from feeding and playtime to washing and general care. This early experience taught me responsibility and a deep understanding of dogs' needs. My background in caregiving and fitness also adds to my ability to provide attentive, active care, ensuring every dog feels loved and well-cared-for. As a second-year Physical Therapy student at the University of Washington, I'm currently on break with no classes, giving me ample time to dedicate to pet care. This break allows me to be flexible and fully available to assist with your dog care needs, ensuring your pet gets the attention and care they deserve! While I don't currently have a pet myself, my experience as a personal trainer and future Physical Therapist has taught me the importance of care, attention, and empathy.
