“Tausha is the first Rover pet sitter I have used. My two dogs are both medically fragile, with one taking 3 different meds, daily. My prior pet sitters have either been family members or a a neighborhood pet sitter who knows my dogs. I was going out of town for six days and the scheduled pet sitter had a family emergency. So, I asked Tausha if she would feel comfortable stepping into the role... and she accepted. Taking care of my dogs means following a medication chart, and a fairly specific task list. For example, one dog must be fed by hand, using a baby syringe. Additionally, my dogs are small, and it is Winter, so they don't get "let outside" to pee or poop. This means I use high-quality pee pads, which is an extra step for keeping the dogs' room clean and sanitary. Tausha visited my dogs three times each day: breakfast, dinner, and the last visit just for a "night" tuck in to make sure they would be okay until the morning, clean up any poop or change the potty pad. Tausha was not intimidated by the complexity of my dogs' care and did a great job. If you consider she had never taken care of them, especially for an extended number of days, she did a stellar job. Would not hesitate to use her again.”

About: Safety is always my number one priority while pet sitting. I make sure pets are always supervised, secure, and cared for in a safe environment. I carefully follow feeding schedules, medication instructions, and owner guidelines to keep every pet healthy, comfortable, and protected at all times. Although I do work a part-time job, I try my best to fit pet sitting in my schedule because it’s what I love to do! Animals will always be well taken care of, I insure that your pets will be let out before I have to take off for work, making sure water is full and fresh. I will be back to love and care you’re pet in a timely manner! Although I do not offer boarding, I prefer watching animals in their owner’s home because I feel like it makes the animals more comfortable to be in a well-known environment. My biggest priority is making sure the owners have peace of mind while they are away and know that their animals are in a safe hands.

About: I have had the joy of sharing life with a wide variety of dogs in my time. I have lived with cats, small dogs and big dogs. I tend to prefer the bigger dogs myself, because I love their cuddles. I have also cohabitated with cats, and enjoy their cuddles and purr vibrations. I have trained all of my dogs with the positive reinforcement method. I understand that dogs love to have boundaries made clear, so that they can feel safe. I do not raise my voice with dogs, and focus on reinforcing the positive choices that they make. I am experienced with giving medications to animals, even grumpy senior cats. I am patient with all animals, reliable and responsible for all pet owners. I value having a trustworthy petsitter for my own pets, and want to offer that to others in return. I am currently available anytime for pet care. I have some hobbies, but can easily schedule around them. With my own dogs, I am very active. We go on walks daily and often do road trips to the beach. About: Hi, I’m Olivia! I’ve had pets my whole life (dogs, cats, rats, and guinea pigs) and have been pet-sitting and walking since I was a kid. As a teenager, I spent many summers volunteering at my local animal shelter. I have experience caring for animals with disabilities, dietary restrictions, anxiety, and other special needs, including medication administration and incontinence cleanup/hygiene. I’m very comfortable with large and high-energy pets, as well as with those who need a gentler touch. Senior dogs and cats have had a special place in my heart since my childhood pets grew up alongside me. I work part time as a special education assistant for medically fragile students. My schedule allows for plenty of extra time for pet care during the week. I’m available all day most weekends, though I occasionally take babysitting jobs as well. If we discuss a schedule ahead of time, I will never take a job that conflicts with it. I don’t offer boarding (I live in an apartment with a maxed-out pet limit) but I’m very careful and detail oriented. My work with both animals and children has taught me to always double check when it comes to safety and instructions. I exercise more caution than I would with my own pets since I know new situations can lead to unusual behavior. And I always take notes to make sure I’m doing everything as the owner instructs me to!

Since summer days can get especially hot, I’m always prepared by carrying a bag with essentials like water, a bowl, treats, poop bags, and a frisbee. For my dogs, if the pavement is too hot (I always check with the back of my hand), they wear protective boots to prevent burns, and if you're dog has some little booties, I'll make sure their paws stay protected and take frequent shade breaks. On those extra hot days when it’s safer to stay indoors, I make sure my dogs still get their energy out with games, enrichment toys, and fun training tricks. I love keeping things playful while prioritizing safety and well-being.

About: Hi, my name is Isabella. I'm 19 years old and have had the pleasure of caring for and meeting many fascinating animals, including reptiles, felines, canines, and more. I am an animal enthusiast studying biology and zoology in high school. I have grown up with animals, and to this day, I have had rats, cats, dogs, and birds. I currently don’t work at the moment, which means more time to see your adorable animals! But I am planning to return to college in early September. -My availability is 9am-5pm, Monday-Friday. Since I am home most of my day, I spend a lot of time with my animals. Our routine starts as follows: wet food for herbiee in the morning and for Tutsi FreshPet I refill their water with the coldest and clean the dish every morning. I take Tutsi out and come back to pet Herbert. Usually we just relax and cuddle until it’s time to pick up my boyfriend from work.

About: My mom raised me in a home where animals weren’t treated like “just pets” they were family. Because of that, I go above and beyond for not only my own animals, but any animal in my care. Their health, safety, and happiness matter to me. I’ll always put a lot of time, care, and attention into making sure they feel protected and cared for. As of now, I’m working as a part time hostess! I’m only working 4 days a week, 9am-2:30pm so I have a lot of free time to spend with your furr babies. Personally, when I care for others pets, my biggest thing is communication. I always follow instructions left by owners, refresh water daily, scoop litter daily, and if any accidents (potty or messes) happen I make sure to correct immediately. I also really enjoy providing photos of your furr baby!

About: I got my first pet at 18, a kitten who was from a stray in the neighborhood. I still have that cat today she is 16 and a 1 year old rescued chihuahua mix. I’ve fostered over 30 dogs and a few kittens, volunteered at our local animal shelters and worked events trying to find pets loving homes. I love caring for animals and being a person animals trust. I am a self employed person so my schedule is very flexible, I take my own dog on daily walks and can fit things in easily. My animals are the center of my world and I am always wanting them to be safe, comfortable and loved. I will do the exact same for your babies within your household boundaries. But mine will always sleep in my bed! :)
