“Tausha is the first Rover pet sitter I have used. My two dogs are both medically fragile, with one taking 3 different meds, daily. My prior pet sitters have either been family members or a a neighborhood pet sitter who knows my dogs. I was going out of town for six days and the scheduled pet sitter had a family emergency. So, I asked Tausha if she would feel comfortable stepping into the role... and she accepted. Taking care of my dogs means following a medication chart, and a fairly specific task list. For example, one dog must be fed by hand, using a baby syringe. Additionally, my dogs are small, and it is Winter, so they don't get "let outside" to pee or poop. This means I use high-quality pee pads, which is an extra step for keeping the dogs' room clean and sanitary. Tausha visited my dogs three times each day: breakfast, dinner, and the last visit just for a "night" tuck in to make sure they would be okay until the morning, clean up any poop or change the potty pad. Tausha was not intimidated by the complexity of my dogs' care and did a great job. If you consider she had never taken care of them, especially for an extended number of days, she did a stellar job. Would not hesitate to use her again.”

About: Hi, I'm Madeline! I'm always active taking my dogs for long walks and hikes, or to the local dog parks. I'm a lifelong dog lover, and proud dog mom. While I’m new to Rover, I bring years of trusted experience walking and sitting dogs of all breeds, sizes, and ages from playful 8-week-old puppies to wise 13-year-old seniors. The dogs I'm carrying in the photos have been family to me since they were pups, and ones I've had the pleasure of looking out for. Friends and family have relied on me time and time again, one even called me a dog whisperer after watching me connect with their strong-willed pointer mix! I've had the pleasure of dog sitting and walking for close friends and family, always making sure to follow any specific instructions provided. Since summer days can get especially hot, I’m always prepared by carrying a bag with essentials like water, a bowl, treats, poop bags, and a frisbee. For my dogs, if the pavement is too hot (I always check with the back of my hand), they wear protective boots to prevent burns, and if you're dog has some little booties, I'll make sure their paws stay protected and take frequent shade breaks. On those extra hot days when it’s safer to stay indoors, I make sure my dogs still get their energy out with games, enrichment toys, and fun training tricks. I love keeping things playful while prioritizing safety and well-being.

About: Safety is always my number one priority while pet sitting. I make sure pets are always supervised, secure, and cared for in a safe environment. I carefully follow feeding schedules, medication instructions, and owner guidelines to keep every pet healthy, comfortable, and protected at all times. Although I do work a part-time job, I try my best to fit pet sitting in my schedule because it’s what I love to do! Animals will always be well taken care of, I insure that your pets will be let out before I have to take off for work, making sure water is full and fresh. I will be back to love and care you’re pet in a timely manner! Although I do not offer boarding, I prefer watching animals in their owner’s home because I feel like it makes the animals more comfortable to be in a well-known environment. My biggest priority is making sure the owners have peace of mind while they are away and know that their animals are in a safe hands.

About: I have had the joy of sharing life with a wide variety of dogs in my time. I have lived with cats, small dogs and big dogs. I tend to prefer the bigger dogs myself, because I love their cuddles. I have also cohabitated with cats, and enjoy their cuddles and purr vibrations. About: I got my first pet at 18, a kitten who was from a stray in the neighborhood. I still have that cat today she is 16 and a 1 year old rescued chihuahua mix. I’ve fostered over 30 dogs and a few kittens, volunteered at our local animal shelters and worked events trying to find pets loving homes. I love caring for animals and being a person animals trust. I am a self employed person so my schedule is very flexible, I take my own dog on daily walks and can fit things in easily. About: Hi, my name is Isabella. I'm 19 years old and have had the pleasure of caring for and meeting many fascinating animals, including reptiles, felines, canines, and more. I am an animal enthusiast studying biology and zoology in high school. I have grown up with animals, and to this day, I have had rats, cats, dogs, and birds. I currently don’t work at the moment, which means more time to see your adorable animals! But I am planning to return to college in early September. -My availability is 9am-5pm, Monday-Friday. Since I am home most of my day, I spend a lot of time with my animals. Our routine starts as follows: wet food for herbiee in the morning and for Tutsi FreshPet I refill their water with the coldest and clean the dish every morning. I take Tutsi out and come back to pet Herbert. Usually we just relax and cuddle until it’s time to pick up my boyfriend from work.

About: While my specialty and preference is cats, I'm happy to provide care for your dog(s) too. I've had dogs in my life previously, and can care for well socialized, good natured dogs who live with cats that I am caring for. I can walk them, feed them, play with them, do poop-scooping duties, give potty breaks, etc. I work minimal, flexible hours from home, so I can likely meet your pet(s) care needs as requested. Can work mornings, afternoons, and early evenings. I have cared for indoor only kitties, indoor/outdoor kitties, and for barn or more feral types of kitties. About: I am definitely the person that gravitates towards the fur babies at social gatherings. I experience with my own dogs and cats, AND petsit for friends. I have two dogs and a cat currently. I'm happy to host your dog as long as they're non-aggressive and non marking around other animals. I'm currently working part-time, but have a lot of availability for watching your pets. I will be at work Tuesday from 9-1 and Wednesday evenings. I love hosting friends and family, and your pets are the same!
