He's a blond and white 11 pound Pomeranian So it was kind of a big deal especially for me to leave him with a new person for 2 nights and three days. Teresa set up a play date for him one day which he loved . I found Cashew happy and calm when I returned. Teresa is very calm, very attentive and loving. Also she reliable and trustworthy. “Tausha is the first Rover pet sitter I have used. My two dogs are both medically fragile, with one taking 3 different meds, daily. My prior pet sitters have either been family members or a a neighborhood pet sitter who knows my dogs. I was going out of town for six days and the scheduled pet sitter had a family emergency. So, I asked Tausha if she would feel comfortable stepping into the role... and she accepted. Taking care of my dogs means following a medication chart, and a fairly specific task list. For example, one dog must be fed by hand, using a baby syringe. Additionally, my dogs are small, and it is Winter, so they don't get "let outside" to pee or poop. This means I use high-quality pee pads, which is an extra step for keeping the dogs' room clean and sanitary. Tausha visited my dogs three times each day: breakfast, dinner, and the last visit just for a "night" tuck in to make sure they would be okay until the morning, clean up any poop or change the potty pad. Tausha was not intimidated by the complexity of my dogs' care and did a great job. If you consider she had never taken care of them, especially for an extended number of days, she did a stellar job. Would not hesitate to use her again.”

About: I have taken care of friends, neighbors, family and client's pets for over 3 years and love every minute of it. Growing up my I have been around animals all my life and learned to take care of cats, to dogs, all the way to horses. I am very attentive with certain needed medications your pet may need as well as being patient with any nervous nelly pets that come my way. I am currently working part-time at home, so this allows me to give lots of attention to your fury-loved ones. I also have two friendly and well-behaved king Charles at home who love when new friends come over. My weekly schedule is very open so you can rest assure your pet will be well taken care of. I currently live in a fourplex that has a fenced yard where your pet will be freely to roam around in the well-kept garden with frequent walks throughout the day. I know how important consistency is for keeping dogs calm, especially when they're staying somewhere new. My goal is to make their time with me feel as close to "home" as possible. About: It’s been rough - three rainbow bridge trips in short order. I need more time before I go down that road again, but in the meantime, I will happily love your dog (or cat, or parrot, or lizard, or...?) as if s/he were my own. The pet and owner and I will work together to set the terms of our relationship, and I promise to be a most excellent guardian catering to each individual’s needs. My most consistent regular obligation is a daily trip to the barn to take care of my horse, but if needed, I have alternate coverage. I try to keep my presence low profile while I’m there. I appreciate the trust that comes with visiting in someone else’s home. When you come home, it’s nice for everyone if you can barely tell I was there.

Pet care fits really naturally into my routine because I genuinely enjoy being around animals and caring for them. I currently live with my roommate’s 2 year old cat, so I’m used to daily care and attention. I also will be helping care for a new dog starting later this year, which I’m really excited about. I’m flexible and able to plan my schedule around pet care needs, whether that’s daily visits, walks, or spending extended time with your pets. I’m reliable, communicative, and committed to making sure your pets are well taken care of while you’re away. I currently live in an apartment and keep a clean, calm, and pet safe space. That being said, I’ll be moving into a townhome with more space at the end of August. No matter the space, I’m attentive, patient, and committed to creating a secure and loving environment for every pet I care for.
About: I got my first pet at 18, a kitten who was from a stray in the neighborhood. I still have that cat today she is 16 and a 1 year old rescued chihuahua mix. I’ve fostered over 30 dogs and a few kittens, volunteered at our local animal shelters and worked events trying to find pets loving homes. I love caring for animals and being a person animals trust. I am a self employed person so my schedule is very flexible, I take my own dog on daily walks and can fit things in easily. My animals are the center of my world and I am always wanting them to be safe, comfortable and loved. I will do the exact same for your babies within your household boundaries. About: I have taken care of dogs of various sizes and breads since I was five years old. My neighbors and friends trust me to take impeccable care for their pets. I am currently in college and I work part-time three days a week. Although, I have quite a bit of free time and in that time I usually like to workout or try new things. Occasionally my family and I go to bend on the weekends. I do not have a fenced yard but I do have a property that Is not heavily populated by cars on the road. I also have three varying sized crates as well as two dogs. My dogs are let out every 1-2 hours. One of my dogs is crated when I am not home and my other dog does not have to be crated. In my clients home, I will care for their pets like my client would normally and I will ensure that their home is left clean.

I'm happy to host your dog as long as they're non-aggressive and non marking around other animals. I work full time Monday through Friday. However, my weekends and schedule can be flexible with notice. I'm your go to for quick weekend (Friday - Sunday) getaways! I love hosting friends and family, and your pets are the same! I make sure they understand their surroundings and have the basic needs met, water, food, bathrooms, AND fun.
