We were a former care coordinator for our local humane society before moving to Oregon and take looking after your family very seriously. Don't like a male in your home? About: Caring for pets has been an important part of my life for as long as I remember and I know how important it is that our furry family members get the best care when we are away. From daily feeding, playtime, and training to handling medications, vet visits, trips to the emergency vet, I've done it all. I volunteer weekly at the Greenhill Humane Society socializing shy and nervous cats and have completed a course in pet CPR and first aid. About: I have years of experience volunteering with all types of dogs and cats. I started volunteering at a pit bull rescue center when I was 10. I have also volunteered at the Elk Grove animal shelter with cats, dogs, and bunnies. I have always loved animals and love caring for friends and family’s pets whenever they need me. About: I have taken care of dogs in other peoples homes for about 4 years but have taken care of my own for 6. I have had jobs of up to 3 weeks of staying in another’s home to take care of their fur babies. I love being outside so I love to take animals on walks, to the park, and anywhere else they might be able to go. I have also taken care of other dogs that don’t quite fit with the rest. One of my family friends rescues dogs from kill-shelters that were in danger. These dogs consist of ones on special medications with tumors and ones who are sick. I have been able to be responsible with such dogs and give them what they need when taking care of them. I also have a lot of cat experience. While I have never watched cats in another’s home I have had 4 kittens that I have raised to adulthood and cared for them with everything they’ve needed. I absolutely adore cats! I am currently very free as far as scheduling goes. I am an active volleyball player at Lane community college where I have daily practice from 4-6pm. I have many games throughout the week but those have been updated on my calendar as unavailable. If there’s a day I have unavailable it might just be for a game day so reach out if you really need someone and I can make it work! I am unfortunately unable to board pets because of my no pet friendly apartment. However I am comfortable staying in a different home. I am a very clean person and will have a lot of fun taking care of your pets. I am a very out doorsy girl and love having a friend to come along with me!

About: I’m a Credentialed Veterinary Technician, licensed in Oregon and California. I have been licensed for six years with eleven years in vet med overall. I currently work full time at an animal clinic and do this as a hobby. I am trained to monitor chronic conditions like heart disease, kidney disease, and diabetes, as well as post surgical patients. I’m well versed in ear cleaning, nail trims, and anal gland care too, so your pet is in genuinely experienced hands, not just loving ones. I’ve been a Lab owner most of my life. I have only one now, Coco, and we’ve earned several titles together over the years, including her CGC. We’re a lot more low-key these days, mostly walks and time outside together, but that history means I understand dogs at every stage, from a young, driven dog with energy to burn to an older dog who just wants a good routine and someone paying attention. I keep a saltwater fish tank too, so if you’ve got fish or other small companions alongside your dog, I’ll look after those as well. I prefer check-ins or drop-in visits or walks. I like caring for pets in their own home and environment rather than mine, since that’s usually where they’re most relaxed and themselves. I’m calm and steady with anxious or shy dogs, and I take the time to let them warm up at their own pace instead of rushing them. I’m available for check-ins across Eugene, Springfield, Thurston, Vida, and up the McKenzie as well. After work (6pm) walks work best for me on weekdays. If you’re in town, I’d rather do fewer, longer visits than a lot of short ones. Upriver, I’m flexible either way. I currently work full time and I am available to swing by for afterwork walks during the weekdays and anytime on weekends, I work in Eugene and live in Vida and can easily cover any of that area. I have a newly fenced and gravel dog area for restroom use, with a dog room and dog door. Dogs that leave the home with me always have a collar with identification on as well as a leash.

My cats are all free range in the house and we have gates put in place so they can have their own space.
