About: I’ve had cats my entire life! I love to care for them. My grandmother was a vet so I have decent knowledge in care :) I have a completely open schedule!! I have a lot of chronic pain so I’m not currently working a normal part time job. Due to my health, my availability may be closed for a couple days at a time, but I should be mostly open! I love my own three babies and would love to care for yours as well :) I don’t believe I would be able to bring your baby to my home, but I can always come to yours! I won’t bring my babies to stress anyone out, but they all might smell each other. I’m very gentle with disabled pets, as one of mine is deaf and has some back issues. I will be very patient and understanding of your fur ball’s needs! If you are going away for multiple days at a time, I can stop by as many times as needed to clean litter box(es) and food dish(es). I will also make sure your kitty has fresh/clean water, especially with the warmer months!!

“Madison was attentive, communicative when some unforeseen garden developments occurred, sent pics of my kitties, and they were so content when I got home after a long trip.”

Perfect for high energy dogs - Walterville

“Journey is the perfect sitter for our reactive baby. I could immediately tell she has lots of experience and is comfortable with even fearful dogs like ours. The thing about Journey that I am most appreciative of is that she has Fear Free certification. She showed in all her communication with me that she understood Guinness’s needs through his body language and was respectful of his boundaries (however long they lasted, apparently he got pretty cuddly!). I will definitely be bringing Guinness back for boarding, daycare, and probably grooming too. I can’t express how grateful I am to imagine being able to board Guinness and therefore travel again! Thank you, Journey!”

“Denise did a great job! Biscuit was happy when we picked her up. She took Biscuit for walks and recorded them. Biscuit was comfortable enough to take a nap. I also appreciate the good day care price. We will use her again.”

Although I do work a part-time job, I try my best to fit pet sitting in my schedule because it’s what I love to do! Animals will always be well taken care of, I insure that your pets will be let out before I have to take off for work, making sure water is full and fresh. I will be back to love and care you’re pet in a timely manner! My biggest priority is making sure the owners have peace of mind while they are away and know that their animals are in a safe hands.

About: I've been lucky to have dogs in my life for as long as I can remember, that is 50+ years of wagging tails. I know how important consistency is for keeping dogs calm, especially when they're staying somewhere new. My goal is to make their time with me feel as close to "home" as possible. Whether your dog (aka family member) wants snuggles, a cozy nap spot, playtime with my dog, or a little quiet space to themselves, I follow their lead and make sure they feel comfortable and cared for. I’m currently in between jobs, which means I’m home full‑time and able to give your dog plenty of attention throughout the day/night. My home is relaxed, warm, and set up for dogs to feel comfortable from the moment they arrive. I keep things safe, clean, and low‑stress, and I follow each dog’s natural rhythm — whether that’s playtime, naps, snuggles, or simply hanging out nearby. I share my home with my young male mix‑breed dog (born 12/6/24), a poodle/wire‑haired terrier mix who’s neutered, well‑behaved, and absolutely loves meeting new dog friends. He’s gentle, social, and always happy to have a buddy around, but I also make sure every visiting dog has space and downtime whenever they want it.
About: Hi there! My journey in professional animal care began early, shadowing my mother in her animal behavior and care business. I gained hands-on experience with a wide range of species—including dogs, cats, horses, donkeys, cattle, goats, and rabbits—which shaped my understanding of how to meet animals where they are: emotionally, behaviorally, and physically. While I am not a licensed dog trainer, I’ve spent much of my life developing a thoughtful, intuitive approach to animal care. My professional background includes extensive training in wildlife handling and care techniques. During college, I volunteered at the Cascades Raptor Center in Eugene, assisting with the daily care and rehabilitation of birds of prey. Over the years, I’ve also provided pet care for friends and family, building trust through reliability, compassion, and a deep respect for each animal’s unique needs. Now, I’m excited to offer my experience and dedication to the local community. I’m Fear Free Certified for dogs, and while I’m not certified for cats or other animals, I apply many of the same principles across species: 🧘♀️ Creating low-stress environments 🐾 Respecting boundaries and body language 🛏️ Offering comfort, routine, and enrichment 🐕🦺 Using gentle handling and positive reinforcement In 2024, I worked with shelter animals at Greenhill Humane Society, where I received extensive behavioral training and advanced to independently care for dogs and support enrichment for cats. That experience helped me develop a deep understanding of animal behavior, stress signals, and how to build trust with pets from all backgrounds. What I offer: 🐶🐱 Drop-in visits, walks, feeding, litter care & medication support 🧶 Enrichment activities tailored to your pet’s personality 📸 Daily updates with photos and notes 🐾 Experience with seniors, shy pets, and those with special needs Whether your pet is playful, reserved, or somewhere in between, I bring calm energy, reliable care, and a genuine love for animals to every visit. Thank you for considering me — as someone who has also used Rover for my own pets, I know it can be daunting to find the perfect fit for your furbabies. Pet care is a natural part of my daily rhythm. I work from home, which gives me the flexibility to provide attentive, consistent care throughout the day. Whether it’s a midday walk, a drop-in visit, or extended overnight care, I’m able to adjust my schedule to meet your pet’s needs without the constraints of a traditional 9–5 job. Because I’m home-based, I can offer: 🐕 Timely potty breaks and walks 🐈 Calm, low-stress drop-ins for cats and small pets 🐾 Flexible scheduling for last-minute requests Whether your pet needs a quick check-in or more involved care, I’m able to integrate it seamlessly into my day, ensuring they get the attention and comfort they deserve. I currently do not offer in-home boarding, but I provide personalized care in your pet’s own home, where they feel most comfortable and secure. Whether it's a quick drop-in, a longer visit, or multiple check-ins throughout the day, I tailor each session to your pet’s routine and emotional needs. Because I work from home, my schedule is flexible—I can accommodate midday visits, early mornings, or evening care depending on your pet’s habits. I focus on creating a calm, low-stress experience by respecting their space, reading their body language, and offering enrichment that suits their personality. Your pet gets: 🐾 Familiar surroundings and routines 🧘♀️ Low-stress care with gentle handling 🐕 Walks, playtime, feeding & medication support 📸 Updates so you stay connected I treat every visit as a chance to build trust and make your pet’s day better. Whether they’re playful, shy, or need extra patience, I’m here to meet them where they are.

“Kyimani has been so great with my dogs. She has watched them 3 times this week, and every time she watches them I feel I can breathe easy when I am away. She really takes the time to get to know both of my dogs personalities, and treats them very well. I know that when I book with Kyimani that my dogs are going to be very well taken care of. After she’s finished she writes very descriptive report cards for my dogs, which always make me laugh and smile because I can tell she is getting to know each of my dogs. If you are looking for a trusting and caring sitter, I recommend Kyimani all the way. I’m already booking with her next week as well!”

About: I’ve been caring for animals for over 7 years and have experience with dogs of different breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities. I understand that every pet has unique needs, and I always focus on providing safe, loving, and dependable care. Whether your dog needs exercise, playtime, feeding, medication reminders, or extra patience and attention, I’m committed to making them feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. I treat every pet as if they were my own and keep owners updated for peace of mind. I’ve been caring for all kind animals for over 7 years, including dogs, chickens, ducks, goats, and other pets. Working with a variety of animals has taught me patience, responsibility, and how to recognize different needs and behaviors. I provide safe, dependable care, plenty of attention, and regular updates so owners can feel confident their pets are in good hands. Caring for animals is already a big part of my daily life. I spend time each day caring for my own animals and enjoy being active outdoors. Because of this, dog walking and pet visits fit naturally into my routine, allowing me to provide consistent care, attention, and updates to pet owners. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their normal routine as closely as possible. I provide fresh food and water, walks, playtime, potty breaks, and plenty of attention. I make sure pets are safe, comfortable, and well cared for, and I keep owners updated with messages and photos during visits.

About: Former dog owner (Luna & Scout) — long daily walks, parks, overnight boarding, feeding routines. Reliable, responsive, I'll treat your dog like my own in Springfield. Flexible and reliable, I always make pet care a priority in my routine. Whether it's daily walks, check-ins, or playtime, your pet’s needs come first. I prioritize safety and comfort by creating a pet-friendly environment. I follow routines, use positive reinforcement, and ensure pets feel secure and loved at all times.
About: I’ve never known life without animals. I grew up caring for dogs, cats, chickens, a pig, and horses, and have been responsible for animal care in some form since I was around six. Today, I have three dogs and three cats of my own, including two dogs under 1.5 years old, so I’m very comfortable with puppy energy, training routines, enrichment, walks, and consistency. I also have experience caring for senior pets, cats and dogs with different medical needs, and animals who need a little more patience or structure. I’m comfortable giving oral and injected medications, following detailed feeding and medication schedules, and noticing when something seems off. I’m also very active and love hiking, so I’m happy to tailor exercise to the dog in front of me — whether that means a relaxed neighborhood walk, a longer adventure, extra sniffing and enrichment, or helping a high-energy dog burn off some steam. What I bring most is a lot of real-life animal experience, patience, and attention to detail. I know the small things matter when someone else is caring for your pets, and I take that responsibility seriously. I am self-employed and work from home M-Th, so I can work anywhere and have long weekends. My work days are completely on my own schedule, so I have time for potty breaks, walks, play time, or drop in visits whenever needed. I'm happy to help with your pets on any schedule. I follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible and take the time to understand their specific needs, personality, feeding schedule, medications, exercise preferences, and any household rules before care begins. In a client’s home, I’m respectful of both the pets and the space, and I’m careful about things like doors, gates, leashes, food, medications, and anything else that could affect safety. I also pay close attention to behavior and changes in appetite, energy, bathroom habits, or anything that seems unusual. I’m happy to send regular updates and photos so you know how things are going. My goal is to keep pets comfortable, safe, and as close to their usual routine as possible while you’re away.

As long as you don’t mind my little nugget tagging along, I’m pretty open and available to tend to your pets’ needs. About: I love all critters and have an especially soft place in my heart for the elderly and/or disabled. I started by volunteering for neighbors friends on trips or working 12 hours shifts, just to stay busy, and it was awesome to see how my daily visits helped their overall health over time. Visiting with critters is always the highlight of my day. I move slowly, carefully, speak softly, so my energy is a great fit for older or anxious animals. I love them all, and every step. Greeting, walking, playing, chilling, pets and massage, special diets, and I have no problem helping administer medicine or any extra special care that is needed. It would be an honor to be of service for you and your fur baby :) I am flexible and available, single, no kids, and also a home care worker. I only work 4 hour shifts, so pet care can very easily fit in and around my other work schedule. When I meet you and your pet, you can show me the care routine, and I will confirm that I understand every step. What works well is if the supplies are visible and steps are also written down and left somewhere I can refer to if needed. I will take photos to either text or email you while I am at your home with an update for each visit.

Whether you are camping, skiing or just out on an adventure you can't bring Fido, or you are working and your friend needs a midday visit, I would love to get your pal outside for some fresh air and exercise. Young and old furry pals will be happier with an extra walk or some special visits during the long day. If you are going away for any length of time, I am available as a trusted and calm presence in your home for your furry buddy to feel more comfortable in their own home space and routine. I'm happy to provide a safe, comfortable and fun place to stay in my home as well. I work weekdays and love spending the rest of my time with a dog pack. I am out walking my pack anyway, more are welcome. I have a senior dog at home, with a fenced yard, doggy door and dog friendly environment. They can roam as if at home or we can crate if wanted.
