About: I have done many types of care giving. In addition to pet care, this includes elder care and hospice care. Attentiveness and being attuned to the emotional connection and body language is essential in sharing in care. I am working part time two or three days a week but due to an injury am looking to do less physically taxing work. With my current availability, returning to pet care sounds in alignment with my schedule and life. I think about how much love and care I would want given to my cats, and I give that much to others. Often, some pets experience some stress and duress when away from their people, and so being a safe, loving, calm and playful person is the main goal. About: I’ve had cats and dogs since I was a child. I’ve taken care of clients pet babies in their home. Feeding, cleaning cat litter, playing with them and administering medication. Making them feel loved while their parents are away. I also have had the opportunity to volunteer at a horse therapy program where I cleaned stables, fed the horses, washed them, brushed them and cleaned their hoofs. I also assisted the mentally and physically disabled individuals on the horses while they were doing their lessons. About: I got my first pet at 18, a kitten who was from a stray in the neighborhood. I still have that cat today she is 16 and a 1 year old rescued chihuahua mix. I’ve fostered over 30 dogs and a few kittens, volunteered at our local animal shelters and worked events trying to find pets loving homes. I love caring for animals and being a person animals trust. About: I've always owned a cat or dog since I was 5 years old and my father has been a vet technician for 45 years. I love going on walks and making sure animals get some exercise and all the love! I do work a full time job during the week and have my own dog but weekends I'm open and free as he goes to his grandma's for a visit. I do live in an apartment so dogs are always on leash and if I were to watch an animal at my home, my dog would go to his grandma's.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
