“They were great, sent constant updates when asked and he had a great time we was sad to come home. They have a good group of dogs that helped correct some of his behaviors which was a big bonus. Great people and great sitting!”

“Leaving our dog with Keith and family was a great experience. We received daily updates with pictures and knew that he was being loved on the whole time. It was like a vacation for him, while we were off vacationing. I can’t recommend Keith and family enough.”

“Tessa and her family take great care of our pup. She sends frequent updates and treats him like he’s part of the family. We drive an hour out of our way just to have Tessa watch our dog so I highly recommend her”

I personally have trained our rottie on leash manners along with the many other dogs we’ve had growing up. I am an animal person through and through and through. I treat every animal to their specific needs for space, playtime, and rest time. I am currently working full time, but have evening availability 6 days per week. I have open availability two days per week and am open to last minute bookings. I am a responsible and detail oriented person who puts your pets needs first! We have a current puppy in training so I’m open to dogs of all ages. We have a fenced in yard, a nearby park and plenty of walking trails so there is the option to take your pups on walks if they are high energy. I have experience with small Chihuahua breeds, and have grown up alongside Labs, Pitties and Rottweilers. We love all shapes and sizes here!
“Erin did an exceptional job of communicating with me about how Mitzi was doing during their first time together. Without my asking- Erin sent photos of Mitzi with a brief comment. I will definitely use Erin again if the need arises.”

“We are so grateful to Amy & Rob for taking such wonderful care of our dog! We felt that they listened to our care instructions and concerns and felt confident throughout our pup's stay. Amy & Rob were attentive, kind, and kept us updated with photos and messages throughout the stay - and provided photos of our dog's meds being administered which we appreciated so much. Our dog came back happy and well-cared for, and we couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. Highly recommend, and we’ll definitely be booking again in the future!”

About: Hi, I'm Desiree! I live in the hills in Southwest Eugene with my family & fur babies: four dogs, a cat, and a bunny. So animals are my everyday life. I know that leaving your pet with someone is a big deal, and I treat every pet like one of my own: lots of cuddles & attention, consistent routines, and clear updates, so you never have to wonder how they're doing. I have such a passion for doing this because when I’ve had to leave my fur babies it was really hard. I’m hoping to put you at ease knowing your fur baby is receiving love and attention while you are gone 💙💜 I currently work full time but my position is one that I get to work from home. So I am available anytime to watch the animal or walk them. My dogs and bunny would stay upstairs and there is a whole living area on the second floor. There is a gate on the stairs separating the living areas (due to my dog having bad hips). Your pet gets a fenced yard / daily walks and outdoor time, regular meals on your schedule, fresh water, and plenty of attention and play. I'm comfortable giving medications and following special diets or recovery instructions, and I'll send photo or video updates during every stay. Dogs sleep inside with us. We can do a meet-and-greet first so your pet can get comfortable with me.
“Joshua communicated well and took great care of our pup during a long weekend trip. We received regular updates that we appreciated and look forward to using him again soon.”

“My dog had a great time with Cameron and her dog Bo. I was updated daily on the fun they were having. She treated my dog like part of the family. We will definitely use Cameron in the future.”

“I would highly recommend Caleb to everyone! At our meet and greet, he asked a ton of questions about my pup, Atticus, and took notes of his needs and habits. Atticus is a very itchy boy and the fact that he came home without any hotspots is a testament to Caleb's attentiveness to care. Given the opportunity, I would not hestitate to book with Caleb again. He's also a great dog photographer, to say the least!”

“Derrick and Sabrina were wonderful in getting our pet acclimated and feel comfortable since it was our first time. They are incredibly responsive and send pictures everyday with updates!”

About: Hello! My name is Chris, and I would love to be your dog's best friend while you are away :) When I first adopted my dog, Wilson, he was a challenge--very roudy, not house trained, and high energy! With lots of patience, training, and love, he has developed into the most mature and calm pup. My friends routinely comment that he seems like a totally new dog. I believe all he needed was a stable and loving home. As such, I have experience training, administering pills and medicine, and identifying / helping with ailments if they crop up. If your pup has any of these needs, I can help! I can't wait to meet your furry friend! I’m current a graduate student with a very flexible schedule. I can make sure that your pet will never be alone for more than a few hours at a time. I have a sweet 5 year old black lab who will be your fur baby’s best friend. I’m happy to crate your dog if needed, and can take them out for potty as frequently as needed. I live near a large park which is great for walks and nature time for your pup.
“Susie was so good with Benji! He really seemed like he enjoyed his stay. Susie sent pictures and updates frequently and that was comforting for us. She has a very clean house, nice little yard in the back and has a way for the dogs to go outside to potty whenever they need with no human help. We will definilty request Susie's service in the future!”

About: Living vicariously through pet sitting so that I don't have 20 dogs of my own. Dogs have always held a special place in my heart! With three dogs of my own, I understand that every pup has their own personality, quirks, and needs. Whether your dog is a couch potato, an adventure buddy, or a high-energy ball of chaos, I'm here for it! I'll treat your furry family member like one of my own, with plenty of love, patience, playtime, and maybe a little extra spoiling! 🐾❤️ I'm a full time real estate agent looking to fill my downtime with what I love the most, animals! Flexible to fit your pets needs. I have a fully fenced back yard and a home with great division if needed. We have one dog (male fixed black lab) full time and 3 total part time. Wether your pet is best at their own home or love exploring new places, I can accommodate.
About: Hi, nice to meet you! As a fellow pet parent to a 7 year old German Shepherd mix and an 11 year old cat, I know how much peace of mind it brings to find someone you can truly trust. With over 10 years of pet-sitting experience, my goal is to become your pet’s (second) best friend and make sure they feel safe, loved, and right at home while you’re away! I care for pets of every shape, size, and life stage! Whether you have an energetic puppy or kitten, a sweet senior who needs gentle care, or a three-legged companion with unique needs, I’m happy to adapt to their individual needs. I also have a soft spot for pets who are anxious, timid, or reactive and need a little extra patience. I’m comfortable following detailed routines, administering medications, and giving every pet the time, space, and attention they deserve. My dog occasionally joins me on sits when everyone is comfortable around other dogs, but she absolutely doesn’t have to come along! I always have care arranged for her at home, so I can accommodate whatever setup works best for your pets. Want to check out my reviews? ⭐ This Rover profile is new because I’m expanding my services across multiple regions in Oregon, but I’m happy to share my primary Rover profile so you can read my 5 star reviews and feedback from previous clients! I’d love to meet you and your furry family members and become someone you can count on whenever you need an extra hand ❤️ I’m currently taking a step back from full-time teaching to focus on substitute teaching, tutoring, and pet sitting! This gives me a more flexible schedule, allowing me to plan ahead and make sure your pets get all the attention, love, and consistency they deserve. Whether you have an energetic dog who loves long walks or hikes, a senior pet who needs medication, or a cozy cat who just wants some company, I’ll treat your pets like mine and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. My goal is to be more than just a sitter. I want to be a reliable sitter you can count on, and be your pet’s second best friend! Your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine are always my top priorities. I take the time to get to know each pet and follow your instructions carefully, from feeding schedules and medications to walks, playtime, and their usual routines. I’m especially comfortable caring for anxious, timid, or reactive pets and understand the importance of patience, reassurance, and giving them space when they need it. Whether I’m caring for your pets in your home or mine, I want them to feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages throughout the stay, so you can relax knowing your furry family members are in good hands!
“Ellie was great with Bean. She was very communicative and asked questions upfront to make sure that Bean would be well cared for. Ellie provided multiple pictures and I could tell that my pup was having a blast with her. Thank you so much!”

99% of sitters in Trent can provide daily exercise during dog boarding stays. Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, this may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.

- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Trent.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in OR ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
