I take the time to learn each pet's routine, personality, medical needs, and any household rules so I can provide care that's both safe and consistent. In my home, I maintain a clean, pet-friendly environment and closely supervise interactions. I carefully introduce new situations at each pet's comfort level and never leave animals in unsafe situations. When caring for pets in a client's home, I treat both the home and the animals with the same respect and care I would expect for my own. I follow feeding schedules, medication instructions, exercise routines, and any specific care requests exactly as directed. I also provide regular updates with photos so you can have peace of mind while you're away. As a pre-veterinary student, I'm attentive to changes in an animal's behavior or health and won't hesitate to contact you—and, if necessary, seek veterinary care—if I have concerns.

About: I've been caring for dogs for over 10 years, and I focus on meeting each dog where they're at. Whether that means an easygoing stroll around the block or a full trail run through Eugene's parks, I match their energy and activity level. I run and hike regularly on local trails, so dogs with higher energy needs are always welcome. At home, I care for my own two dogs, Coach (10) and Penny (5), so I'm well-practiced in multi-dog households. I've pet sat for friends and neighbors for years, and I have experience giving medications, making me a good fit for senior dogs or pets with health needs. Since summer days can get especially hot, I’m always prepared by carrying a bag with essentials like water, a bowl, treats, poop bags, and a frisbee. For my dogs, if the pavement is too hot (I always check with the back of my hand), they wear protective boots to prevent burns, and if you're dog has some little booties, I'll make sure their paws stay protected and take frequent shade breaks. On those extra hot days when it’s safer to stay indoors, I make sure my dogs still get their energy out with games, enrichment toys, and fun training tricks. I love keeping things playful while prioritizing safety and well-being.
