About: I’ve never known life without animals. I grew up caring for dogs, cats, chickens, a pig, and horses, and have been responsible for animal care in some form since I was around six. Today, I have three dogs and three cats of my own, including two dogs under 1.5 years old, so I’m very comfortable with puppy energy, training routines, enrichment, walks, and consistency. I also have experience caring for senior pets, cats and dogs with different medical needs, and animals who need a little more patience or structure. I’m comfortable giving oral and injected medications, following detailed feeding and medication schedules, and noticing when something seems off. I’m also very active and love hiking, so I’m happy to tailor exercise to the dog in front of me — whether that means a relaxed neighborhood walk, a longer adventure, extra sniffing and enrichment, or helping a high-energy dog burn off some steam. What I bring most is a lot of real-life animal experience, patience, and attention to detail. I know the small things matter when someone else is caring for your pets, and I take that responsibility seriously. I am self-employed and work from home M-Th, so I can work anywhere and have long weekends. My work days are completely on my own schedule, so I have time for potty breaks, walks, play time, or drop in visits whenever needed. I'm happy to help with your pets on any schedule. I follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible and take the time to understand their specific needs, personality, feeding schedule, medications, exercise preferences, and any household rules before care begins. In a client’s home, I’m respectful of both the pets and the space, and I’m careful about things like doors, gates, leashes, food, medications, and anything else that could affect safety. I also pay close attention to behavior and changes in appetite, energy, bathroom habits, or anything that seems unusual. I’m happy to send regular updates and photos so you know how things are going. My goal is to keep pets comfortable, safe, and as close to their usual routine as possible while you’re away.

About: I helped raise our family dog, a golden doodle for his 10 years so far with us. We also just brought in a stray puppy in January, so I am familiar with the puppy stage. He was probably 3 months when we got him and he’s now a year old at least. I am currently free all day everyday during the summer. However when the year starts when I will be free after school on weekdays, because I plan to substitute teach. I will still be available weekends though. I love all animals and I promise to do my best to keep your animals safe. I am organized and will follow the directions I am given to keep your animals safe.

I worked in vet-med for a short time, and I have lots of experience with cats and dogs of all ages and sizes. I'm particularly skilled in befriending anxious cats and dogs. I have lots of time to dedicate to caring for your pet. I enjoy walking daily, and I really enjoy playing with dogs and cats of all ages and sizes. My husband and I have two black cats at home, and we treasure them dearly. They get a lot of attention, play time, treats, and snuggles. I am comfortable spending time with your pet in your home, feeding them per your directions, giving any necessary medications, and taking them out for walks/exercise. I can drive your dog to a park or dog park, if desired. I will happily give your pet snuggles and scritches if they want them, but I also respect every animal's personal boundaries. I pay close attention to behaviors and body language that tell me if they feel safe and what kind of attention they want.

About: I've owned, loved, and been around animals my whole life - dogs, cats, and miscellaneous farm animals. Growing up in the country and having animal based chores from a young age helped me develop a love for animals, tolerance and patience, and the capability to care for a variety of animals in a variety of settings and environments. Closely raised alongside a veterinarian uncle taught me the value and importance of animals in our lives (and occasionally even provide assistance to a him in action). I'm also quite flexible with many things. While in my care, I can walk/exercise (or be absolutely lazy with your animal). Depending on what you request, as long as it's within reason, I am open to catering to your wishes and will do what you ask of me to keep you and your pet happy! :) ie. although I marked "allowed on beds/furniture", I understand this is not for everyone. I personally love having animals near me but also understand the importance of not allowing in my home, what is not allowed in your home. Also, I have access to my family's property out in the country where I can take your dog on hikes away from the public, run freely in large fields that are fenced in at the property line, and explore the great outdoors with them for an even more special experience while you're away! Experience (in general): listed 28 years as I've closely helped family members since ~at least~ 8 yrs of age. My sitting history mostly includes requests to house/dog sit for friends and family members over the years (both in their home or in mine). The "official" dog sitting experience is less, as this is my first time creating a professional sitting profile and I am excited to start work with people outside of my circle! :) I only marked the days I am off work completely as my available dates. These are the days in which I can provide the best/full attention care. I can provide care on work days, as long as you are okay with me working around my work schedule (ie. early mornings/evenings or nights). Otherwise... Consistently, I'm off every Fri, Sat, and Sunday. Weekdays: never hurts to check! I have many weekdays off, but they vary and depend on my office's hours. I know my days off in advance and can plan accordingly. My office closes for 7-19 days at a time 4x/year (Feb, May/June, Sept, Dec). Plus, any major holidays, we are closed and I may be available. I will take necessary precautions to keep your animal safe and cared for. I have a yard with no fence and would keep them on a leash while taking them out or on walks. If while in the country on family property, as long as we both feel comfortable with it and your dog's behavior, leash wearing is whatever you prefer. I will of course put them back on if I feel the need to. Although I'm easy going, I'm also a reliable and responsible person with common sense and enough experience with my own animals to properly care for your pet. I will always do what's needed in any situation to protect your pet and keep them safe. After knowing an animal longer and understanding their behavior/tendencies, sure, I can ease up some - but will always take more precautions at first while I am still getting to know them. And again, in any case, it's whatever you are comfortable with and would like. Details can be discussed and figured out along the way. For example, if your animal gets uncomfortable in unknown places - I am more than happy to come to you and care for them in your home! If they need this medicine at this time, you've got it! If they do better when you take them for a 45 min walk and then snuggle them for an hour, sure! If you need them to eat these specific things, at these specific times, and anything else you may need - just chat it out. I'm sure we can work the details out - and if not, I'll just say no and ask that you find another sitter who may suit you and your needs better. We'll figure it out.

I moved on to pet sitting my friends dogs making sure to play, brush, and walk them regularly. Just moved to Eugene from Tennessee and currently have open availability! I’m an early riser so if you need a dog walked in the morning, I’ve got you! I have a car and am willing to walk or bus as well! Our house is plentiful of cat trees, window perches and tunnels! We give them fresh food and water every day and they all get individualized attention! I will do the exact same for your pets!

I work with dogs, cats, etc. of all energy levels, though I specialize in senior care and will accommodate my pace to any pet personality! I’m currently in college so I mainly have availability in the evenings but can do earlier depending on the day, and weekends all day. I follow the instructions given to me exactly as requested and I send updates of your pet through message and photos.
