About: I have been caring for animals my entire life, having grown up with pets. My experience includes daily care, feeding, exercise, grooming, and companionship for both dogs and cats, which are my primary areas of expertise. In addition, I have hands-on experience caring for farm animals, such as horses. Animals have always been a passion of mine. Growing up, my dream was to own a no-kill animal shelter, and that passion continues to guide the way I care for every animal I meet. I am patient, dependable, attentive to animals needs, and committed to providing them with a safe, loving, and comfortable environment. I’m currently working part-time, which gives me lots of extra free time and flexibility. I am also a college student at Lane Community College and as we are on summer break I have so much extra time on my hands. I care for pets by knowing the clients environment and understanding what makes the pet feel the most comfortable. Being able to read and assess how the pet is feeling is a huge part of my service. My main goal is to leave you with zero doubt when trusting me with the care of your pet.

About: As a pre-veterinary student, I provide more than just pet sitting—I bring knowledge, patience, and a genuine passion for animal care. I have hands-on experience caring for dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, and other small animals through both personal ownership and animal care work. I'm comfortable caring for puppies, senior pets, and animals with special needs, including administering medications when needed. I understand that every pet has a unique personality and routine, and I strive to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, quiet companionship, or simply sticking to their normal routine, I'll provide attentive, reliable care and regular updates so you can have peace of mind. I'm currently home for the summer, so I have a very flexible schedule and can dedicate plenty of time and attention to the pets in my care. Aside from occasional appointments and errands, I'm home throughout the day. Caring for animals is already a part of my daily routine, as I have pets of my own with established care schedules. Adding your pet into that routine allows me to provide consistent feeding, potty breaks, playtime, exercise, medication (if needed), and plenty of companionship. I always work to maintain your pet's normal routine as closely as possible so they feel safe and comfortable while you're away. Your pet's safety, comfort, and well-being are always my top priorities. I take the time to learn each pet's routine, personality, medical needs, and any household rules so I can provide care that's both safe and consistent. In my home, I maintain a clean, pet-friendly environment and closely supervise interactions. I carefully introduce new situations at each pet's comfort level and never leave animals in unsafe situations. When caring for pets in a client's home, I treat both the home and the animals with the same respect and care I would expect for my own. I follow feeding schedules, medication instructions, exercise routines, and any specific care requests exactly as directed. I also provide regular updates with photos so you can have peace of mind while you're away. As a pre-veterinary student, I'm attentive to changes in an animal's behavior or health and won't hesitate to contact you—and, if necessary, seek veterinary care—if I have concerns.

About: Husband and wife team here to help with your pets. We both grew up with pets, and currently have two dogs, a tortoise, and a fish tank. Who are we? Chandlor, UO class of 2025, a freelance journalist and deferred Berkeley graduate student. Originally from the DC metro area. Alison, Dartmouth class of 2014, accountant at UO, part time musician, farm girl at heart. Two for the price of one! We’re flexible with our work schedules, but both work full time. Alison at UO, Chandlor remotely. Just ask us and we will see if it’s a good fit. We spend a lot of time with our pets, and they are our lives. All of our animals are elderly, so we’ve spent years making them more comfortable.

About: Ever since I was 8 years old I have been responsible for feeding, cleaning up after, walking and teaching simple tricks to our family pets. Family and friends have relied on me to not only give necessary care to their pets but make sure they are receiving all the desired attention, play time, and alone time. Since I have grown up with pets my whole life I have a great understanding of how to read cat’s and dog’s body language to know how they are feeling in different situations. I am currently living with two boy cats of my own and they are my babies! I’m currently a full time student looking for a way to get money to help with bills by doing something I’m passionate about, loving animals. I’m available to sit on weekends Friday - Sunday, and available after 2 pm on weekdays for whatever your fur baby might possibly need, may be available for overnight stays during week days depending on location. When caring for your pet in your home, I prioritize safety, trust, communication and a clean environment. I will carefully follow all instructions provided to me including feeding or bathroom schedules, medications or any special needs. I keep the house secure by keeping doors locked and avoiding anything that could put your fur baby at risk. I am more than happy to communicate with regular updates if desired! I will also be sure to clean up after your pet and leave your home same or better condition than I found it.

About: Hi, I'm Madeline! I'm always active taking my dogs for long walks and hikes, or to the local dog parks. I'm a lifelong dog lover, and proud dog mom. While I’m new to Rover, I bring years of trusted experience walking and sitting dogs of all breeds, sizes, and ages from playful 8-week-old puppies to wise 13-year-old seniors. The dogs I'm carrying in the photos have been family to me since they were pups, and ones I've had the pleasure of looking out for. I’ve studied basic training techniques through a puppy obedience course, guidance from a professional trainer, and good ol' YouTube. Whether your pet needs regular daily walks, last-minute check-ins, or extended sitting while you're out of town, I’m here to help. My open availability means I can easily accommodate your pet’s routine and make sure they get consistent care and attention. I've had the pleasure of dog sitting and walking for close friends and family, always making sure to follow any specific instructions provided. Since summer days can get especially hot, I’m always prepared by carrying a bag with essentials like water, a bowl, treats, poop bags, and a frisbee. For my dogs, if the pavement is too hot (I always check with the back of my hand), they wear protective boots to prevent burns, and if you're dog has some little booties, I'll make sure their paws stay protected and take frequent shade breaks. On those extra hot days when it’s safer to stay indoors, I make sure my dogs still get their energy out with games, enrichment toys, and fun training tricks. I love keeping things playful while prioritizing safety and well-being.

One of the two particularly suffers when I’m absent for extended periods, and she took extra care with him. Her daily updates were informative and gave me clear indication of whether she was concerned/ not concerned for the small issues that cropped up (furballs and etc).
