“Took good care of our kitties while we were away, plus kindly did a few misc tasks around the house like bringing in a package from the porch. Appreciated her time and would book again.”

About: I have a high drive working German Shepherds, and husky. I have always been full of energy and taking care of crackhead dogs give me a lot of patience, so puppies and active dogs are my favorite and specialty! And I've been bitten and scratched enough times, it almost tickles... Almost During hot months my dogs are given all attention in the evening/at night and during cold months my dogs are given all attention in the afternoon so there is a period of time where I can help take care of yours outside of pet care and work! I will make sure to follow strict instructions and be very attentive and watchful of your pup! My own dogs schedule consist of playing, walking, training, cuddling, feeding and potty every 4-6 hours! And I would love to treat your pet with the same amount of needs whenever you feel you can't! No dog left behind!
“We are soo glad we chose Katelyn to take care of our 4 cats while my husband and I traveled for a wedding! She was incredibly easy to get ahold of and always sent pictures and updates. She always came by promptly and made sure one of our cats took her medicine”

Rest assured that whether your pet is an old friend or a new addition, I will provide customized care - from snuggles to medication, walks to post-surgical care, and everything in between! I have a very flexible schedule, so I have plenty of time to play with your pet(s)! My availability includes regularly scheduled visits and drop ins are welcome. I can also be available on short notice. I enjoy providing conscientious, customized, and individualized care. Please share with me any favorite games, treats, and rewards! “This is the second time we’ve hired Amelia and my wife and I couldn’t be happier! Amelia provided plenty of really good pictures of our dog Athena and communicated throughout the entire booking!”

About: I love dogs, and can't wait to meet yours! I will closely follow your instructions to provide the kind of care I would expect for my own dog. I'm willing to work with you and your schedule. I'm a firm believer in the power of clear communication and honesty. You can expect regular updates, lots of love, attention, and with permission, a moderate amount of treats. My fenced yard is sufficient for pee breaks and I'm in a great location to walk over to local parks for number twos and exercise. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out. I look forward to hearing from you, and meeting your dog! I'm looking forward to spending my days off with your dog! I'm especially interested in long walks with chill dogs. Always positively reinforcing good behavior with praise, attention, and play. I have a fenced yard. I'm willing to spend lots of time with your dog, doing whatever it is they love to do. My availability is my weekends so that dogs in my care will not be left alone.
“Mia was a lifesaver. My cat had a digestive episode while I was away and she took him to the vet, comforted him and gave him his meds. She kept me updated along the way with pictures which really helped to ease my concern. Thanks to Mia, for going above and beyond.”

“Caralisa did a great job with my senior kitties while we were away, which included giving meds and keeping up with our Litter Robot! She should get a 10/10 for responsiveness and communication, and went out of her way to get to our meet-and-greet after she was traveling all day. Would definitely recommend for your pets.”

“Julia came on time, communicated, and made sure she followed the instructions I gave her for my lady. My dog Panchita is slow and Julia made sure to meet her before her care for a better experience!”

“Rosa did a wonderful job again! She has been gaining the trust of my not so trusting cat and is very respectful of her boundaries. My cat now runs up to greet Rosa and allows pets. My elderly mother who lives in the house is also very fond of Rosa and feels very comfortable having her here. Rosa sends pictures and videos during her visits which helps me feel confident that my cat is being well taken care of. I would definitely continue to book with her and encourage others to do so. She is a very kind and thoughtful caregiver.”

I’m currently a graduate student working remotely, so I have plenty of time to take care of your beloved pets and give them lots of attention! “I am very thankful we found Bev to care for our cat Cote. Cote is a tamed feral cat and a long haired domestic. She is timid and slow to warm up to newcomers and adding to the quandary Cote is a perfect Primadonna. About 2 hours after we left Bev went over to check on Cote and sent a picture of Cote's surprised expression!! We requested three 1/2-hour check-ins a day. Within a couple of feedings, Bev sent an image showing Cote eating treats out of her hand!! Cote will only eat her wet food warmed and with a bit of water added and stirred into it, and Bev had no trouble doing that. Bev also realized that Cote required her food to be located wherever she was sitting in order for her to eat. In one picture Cote was eating her warmed food in the lawn!! Bev also earned the ability to pet Cote. The pictures and comments Bev sent were fun and comical and she stayed in contact with us the whole time we were gone. Bev has an innate sense about animals and their needs, and I feel very comfortable taking vacations now that we have found Bev to look after our furry Primadonna.”

About: All types of animals (cats, dogs, guinea pigs, rabbits, horses, llamas, goats, sheep) have been part of my life forever. I love all animals, most of them more than humans! Currently 2 large dogs, 3 cats, 4 chickens and 1 human are my "family". Previously I lived on 36 acres and took care of my horse, 2 donkeys, a herd of goats and chickens. I recently retired and am looking to fill some of my time taking care of your animals and home. I am happy to take care of any types of animal and will provide love and care for your pets while your away. I recently retired from being an insurance agent for 20 years and am very flexible with my time and can be available for short or longer stays. I will take great care of your pets, will administer medications, walk them or play ball, keep them company while your gone. And I will treat your home and belongings with respect and keep it clean and safe.

Alexis did a beautiful job caring for our cats Chloe and Oatis, even while feeling under the weather. She sent a bunch of pictures and gave our lovey girl tons of pets and play. She even managed to snag a photo of our boy hiding under the office bed (lol). Left the place tidy with fresh water/food and clean boxes daily. Thank you so much! Would definitely seek your services again.

Jillian did a fantastic job of taking care of our precious Gemma cat. My cat usually doesn't like other people but she warmed right up to Jillian and became friends instantly. Gemma was well loved and taken care of and I will be using Jillian's services again next time we leave town. Thanks again Jill! ❤️😽

As a first time user of Rover, it gave us a lot of confidence to meet Tyler in advance at our house and review the details of cat care. Tyler was right on time every day and sent me pictures which was so lovely. Even my moody cat warmed up to him after a few days! I think he did a great job and I plan on bringing him back for our next trip!

Nicole is fantastic. She took great care of our dog and cat, kept us updated throughout our trip, and handled unexpected things (like a small accident and a water issue) with calm and kindness. She’s communicative, reliable, and genuinely cares about the pets she watches. We always feel at ease when she’s looking after ours. Highly recommend!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
