I have spent my life as a pet owner and I like to treat everyone's animals the way I would like mine to be treated. I have, at one time or another, owned dogs, cats, birds, fish, turtles, rabbits, snakes, rats, goats, horses, and chickens and am comfortable caring for many more. I know this site is mostly limited to dog and cat care, but I'm happy to pet sit anything. I am happy to care for pets either in my home or in yours and I'm very flexible regarding my schedule.

I highly recommend Whitney Berkley for working with your pet.. any kind of pet. She is very caring and extremely diligent in getting any animal to respond to her. As a veterinarian, I have seen her work wonders with shy dogs and aggressive dogs to allow handling in public areas. She has taught young people how to handle different animals in a crowded and excitable environment with great success. She is more than qualified to walk you dog, caring that he gets the appropriate time needed for his size or breed.

Schedule
Every day I care for my own household animals, and I'm more than capable of taking care of plenty more. My animals include 3 dogs of varying sizes, two cats, a parrot, and an aquatic turtle. Though I have plenty of experience with other animals as well. I'm happy to either host animals in my home or venture to pets in their own homes.

I believe that my job in caring for a person's pets is to adhere to their wishes for their pets. I want to follow the expectations set for any individual animal. I love to lavish animals with love and affection, but that isn't the right approach for every animal and I need to respect the wishes of their humans within the scope of safety.

A typical day
I think fun activities are dependent on the pet. I personally have a dog that loves fetch and a dog that couldn't care less about balls or sticks, so what is right for one of them isn't what is right for the other. I would want to cater my activities for any client to the needs of the individual pet as animals are not a one size fits all situation. If a dog likes to play fetch, let's play fetch, if they prefer belly rubs or pets, I'm happy to do that instead. Tell me what your pet likes, what would be fun for them.
