About: At this point in my life, I have cared for almost any domestic, exotic or farm animal that one can run into! Time spent working with snakes and spiders in a reptile shop, working on farms with cattle, goats and chickens, and caring for everyones furry companions like cats, dogs and rodents in homes has left me feeling well prepared to handle whatever critters come our way. My remaining pet is Sharkbait, a 9 year old heeler mix, who has been the everywhere and everything dog with me for the last 8+ years. She has met all of the above animals in her time and is the ultimate friend to all. As a retired service animal, she is kind and intuitive while responding calmly to reactive animals she meets. This makes her the perfect travel companion and buddy for all your babies and she will always be with me on sitting and walking jobs as she and I like to stay very active, walking anywhere from 2-6 miles daily together. Lets chat about your animals specific needs and background! Being active is a huge part of my day and I love making sure your animals are included in that! Walks to the park and jogs around the block are my favorite way to keep your pets focus while expending that pent up energy. For homebody pets I love a good puzzle or snuffle toy to keep their minds working in their safe space. Meet and greets together as a family are priority so that when you're out of town or at work, your pet(s) can trust Sharkbait and I are there to support them. Any candid tips and tricks around behaviors or routines are welcomed.

Darian was great. The house was in good shape when I returned from vacation the dogs were happy and healthy. One of the dogs had ear problems and they addressed that and the other needed antibiotics and they contacted the veterinarian and had the prescription refilled. Julia is a fantastic sitter! This is the second time I’ve worked with her but this was the first time she’s stayed overnight and it was a holiday! She’s so reliable, cares about your dogs and gives good updates and lots of pictures! She’s also very good at giving meds to a sometimes difficult dog and when my dog got an upset stomach, she communicated with me right away. I felt very comfortable leaving my babies with her!! We will definitely be working with Julia again!
We (and our cats) loved Felix! This was our first time using rover and our first time being away from our pets for a week but Felix helped ease any anxiousness. They sent us daily photo updates about our cats and provided us with updates on how they were reacting to having someone new in the house. When our toilet decided to act up Felix provided above and beyond service with patching it up until we got home. Our home was clean and our cats were cared for. Thanks again Felix!
This is the first time using Rover. Rhiana reached out before accepting and we did a meet and greet. Our three beagles felt comfortable with her right away. She was super responsive and communicative. We got texts everyday. She stayed longer each day than we expected. Our dogs enjoyed having her at the house. The pictures she sent proved it! Had a great experience and all my animals (3 cats and 2 dogs) were well taken care of! My cat who usually needs time to love people was snuggling her within a couple of hours (to give uou an idea how good she is with animals). I will happily request and ideally only use Mathison in the future!
Erin was great, even when things had to change. Something in our house set off Erin's allergies, and made it difficult for her to stay there. So she brought Tucson to her apartment, where he was happy, mellow and snuggly! This has inspired us to board him from now on, so he can relax while we are away!
Auraleigha is by far one of the best experiences I have ever had on Rover. She was both very respectful of and lighthearted about my cat's particularities and he is a big diva- so, him being good after my absence says a lot about her caretaking abilities. Her communication style was responsive without being overly-detailed. On top of all of that, she took the time to clean up extra for my arrival home. 10/5 stars!
Abigail B. was a fantastic sitter. She loved my girls and they adored her. She left my home spotless, even washed and dried all the dishes and put them away and vacuumed the carpet. Bayleigh Boo brings in sticks and makes quite the mess. Way over my expectations, sent me lots of photos and let my girls sleep with her. They are bed hogs but she didn't seem to mind. I will definitely hire her again.
Connor was exactly what I needed for the care of my senior dog and cat - he was great at communicating, especially when he wanted to check if my cat hiding for the first day was normal or if he should be worried, and sent photos of my pets while we were away. I absolutely would book Connor again!

She keeps you updated multiple times a day with lots of photos and texts so that you can have peace of mind while on vacation. Kelli took a huge undertaking of 2 cats, 2 dogs (1 being a puppy) and 5 chickens! She is an amazing sitter and I would recommend her highly to anyone.
