About: I form deep connections with each animal I care for. I have had 3 senior dogs, including my current fur baby who is 17. I was raised in a vegan family, passionate about animal care and ethics. We have been involved in many dog & cat rescues. I am currently working part-time and a part-time student. I have flexibility around my work schedule to suit your needs. Plenty of morning and evening time to spend quality time with your fur babies. I leave every home the same way I found it, or cleaner! I am also passionate about health, wellness and fitness. Your animals’ wellbeing is in good hands with a stable and reliable care taker.
“Cayla was wonderful! She sent us lots of pictures and was very patient with our anxious pup. She also made sure our house was locked tight when she left. Would definitely recommend.”

“We LOVE having Dani watch the kids! There is something about her that puts ours animals at ease. We get home and they are not all upset at us, but like we never left. She sends us updates and follows all instructions given to her. Thank you again Dani!!”
“Jane did such a fantastic job taking care of our two pups and cat. She was very attentive, met with us ahead of time to understand any special needs from our pets, and kept us updated while we were out of town and she was caring for them. I will definitely look to work with Jane again when we travel.”

“Brandy was awesome yet again! We will be sorry to see her move away, but are grateful that our girl had such a great sitter. Our dog was happy and healthy and our home was just as we left it. Thanks for everything!”

“Amelia was a wonderful pet and house sitter! She was very attentive to our elderly pets and gave them the care and attention they needed. She was respectful of our house and even watered the plants. We would definitely welcome her back!”
“We have had Kaylee watch our dog and cat numerous times and we couldn’t ask for a better caretaker! She is hands down the best, we never have a worry when we are gone and our animals absolutely adore her. She sends the best pics/updates, and treats our animals as if they were her own. If you are in need of someone, no need to look any further, Kaylee is the perfect person to watch over your furbabies. We are so lucky! Thank you Kaylee!”

“Rebecca was incredible and saved us from a huge ordeal after someone cancelled on us the day before a big trip to dog-sit. She responded promptly, was obviously very comfortable around animals and spoke fondly of her families doggies. She has a LOVELY, happy energy and I would highly recommend :)”

“Kendra got our anxious dog out to do her business and gave her lots of love. All was well--clean house, clean cat boxes--when we returned. And she brought in an unexpected item the neighbors dropped off on short notice. Much appreciated!”

“Had a great experience and all my animals (3 cats and 2 dogs) were well taken care of! My cat who usually needs time to love people was snuggling her within a couple of hours (to give uou an idea how good she is with animals). I will happily request and ideally only use Mathison in the future!”

“Gabriela really went above and beyond for us. The weather was very hot when we were gone and she made sure our pets were comfortable and our plants well cared for and our house, garden and pets were all happy and healthy when we returned. We are so grateful for Gabriela's care and attention!”

“Julia was great! She has great communication and gives updates on the dogs with pictures, which is nice to have while away. I am excited to have found her and have already re-booked for future dog sitting!”

About: Hi. Please call me Angie! 😊 🐾 I’ve been surrounded by pets since a small child, from city to country life, dogs, cats, hamsters, guinea pigs, bunnies, amphibians, fish, feathered friends, farm animals, etc. I have been lucky to be loved by dogs my entire life, and there would be a huge void without them. My ultimate dream would be to have my own rescue and take in a ridiculous amount of pets needing love, care, and attention. I have watched friends’ and family’s pets and owned many sizes, breeds, and temperaments of dogs but am particularly a lover of northern breeds! I have even bred and raised a few litters of huskies and kept many of them as well. Of course, my favorite color is husky fur! Last year, I rescued a dog for the first time and this experience has taught me a lot about distressed, high anxiety, and untrained dogs that come with unknown traumas, fears, and unique needs. A lot of the dogs in my care here in Eugene are also rescues or have low socialization or energy, so I have a lot of patience, love, and understanding to help them be comfortable and have fun in my home. I have “survived” (ha!) through the distinct trials and joys that come with puppies learning manners, boundary-pushing dogs in their teens, and persnickety, tired, or low-energy senior dogs, as well as high-energy dogs, escape artists, dominant mama dogs, dogs afraid of water or grooming, submissive fur babies always in need of a pack and a leader. And I have been patient with or found humor in every behavioral quirk and unique personality trait. I love to bike-jour, swim, paddle, camp, and adventure with my dogs just as much as I love snuggling inside, watching them sleep while grabbing cameos, playing with them one on one, basking in the sunshine and playing with or in water, and frequenting local parks to see them socialize and get their zoomies out. I also like to play fetch and brain games with those dogs needing a little “extra” stimulation. I don’t flinch from caring for large groups of dogs simultaneously, dog nose art, dogs with special needs, or even naughty by nature fur babies (my kids might say I have a knack for picking these more spirited and escapist dogs). I have cared for two pets with chronic illnesses who required special diets and administering of meds and IVs so am not fearful of caring for your own pets if they have special needs. And I have had to manage through vet emergencies for my own dogs and urgencies for some in my care, and making decisions about/coping through the pain of the rainbow bridge. I am home full time during the week and available most week days/nights and weekends. (I have the occasional errand or appointment so may have periods of time where I am away but will monitor through camera app) I have a fenced yard and can give both indoor time and outdoor exercise or sunbathing; and I can crate your dog if or when needed. High-energy and younger dogs sometimes need naps or space from others; therefore I may separate dogs with a crate or gate (my own included). My approach with dog conflicts or “poor” behavior is the use of a spray bottle (with water and essential oils), and redirection to Sit/Stay or their Place if sent with them (blanket, bed, etc.). I separate dogs for feeding. Your pets will be safe and happy with Tahoe, Jazmine, and me; and they can relax, play outside, be fed, and get the same attention, snuggles, and care I give my own pets!
“Alyssa is amazing! The attention she gave our dogs was truly first-rate. We loved receiving regular updates, whether it was pictures or videos, and it gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. The level of communication was absolutely perfect—clear, timely, and thoughtful. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!”

“Olivia was really wonderful. She took great care of our pups and send regular updates and photos. She was great and communicating with us and very responsive to our messages. Will definitely hire her again!”

“Ada did a terrific job. She and my dog, Pinot, bonded well and she was wonderful in caring for him and my house. I felt really comfortable leaving everything in great hands while I was out of the country for a week. We were able to remain in contact and she sent me periodic updates and a few photos as well. I highly recommend her services and hope to schedule her again for a future engagement.”

“Cassandra did an outstanding job with our dog while we were on vacation. She provided pictures showing how comfortable and cared for our dog was while we were gone. Both my husband and I also noticed that our dog was calm and happy when we returned. We also agreed that our dog’s behavior had changed for the better! I definitely recommend Cassandra and we’ll use her again!”

“Seth was amazing! He was very attentive in learning Guinness and Fern’s daily routine before we left town, communicative each day and sent sweet pics! He even took Guinness for a bonus trail walk. We are appreciative of his care and Guinness will be especially excited to see him again.”

“Llewyn has walked our dogs once a week for several months and cared for them for a week when we were on vacation. Their communication and attention to our dogs’ needs are always fantastic and even our aloof Sophie has warmed up (which is a huge accomplishment). Would highly recommend for care.”
