About: I grew up with a black Labrador for 10 years and helped out with feeding him, playing with him, and walking him. Over the past year, I have boarded a cute pug on several occasions. About: I’ve been around animals all my life! About: All my life I’ve been obsessed with dogs 🐶 When I was finishing up nursing school, I needed to find some part time work to help make ends meet. I found a job as a kennel technician at a commercial dog boarding facility - where I mostly cleaned up to 36 dogs daily messes and gave them social enrichment. I quickly jumped up the short ladder of management and took over as CEO right around my first year mark of employment. I have cared for hundreds, possibly a thousand plus dogs in the last half of my entire lifetime. I’ve taken care of newborn puppies to teenage obedience school dropouts - through the medically fragile & elderly pooches on palliative care & absolutely everything in between. Gates are double locked to keep toddlers from opening them - dogs too. I have a 10 year old spayed female border collie that I picked from her litter at 3 weeks old. She’s my right hand gal and socially bulletproof when it comes to hanging out with her furry friends. I often used her as the “Ice Breaker” dog when I ran the boarding facility - meaning she did all the temperament testing for any newly boarded dogs we were socially unsure about. We have multiple baby gates, and crate option for separation of space. A dog door built into our back door leading into our fully fenced, toddlerized but maintained, grassy residential yard on a quarter acre. We live in a very quiet tiny town on an even quieter little street, perfect for safely regulated walks and training opportunities.
