About: I've taken care of pets since I was a youngster. I had a diabetic dog for years, so I'm aware of the need for medications. I LOVE dogs and cats of all sizes and ages. I am an avid walker, so would love to get a good hike in with your dog/s. There is nothing better than curling up in the evening with a dog or cat to snuggle with. I'm retired so I'm willing and available to travel and stay at your house thereby relieving the stress your pets endure staying in a kennel or at other people's homes. If I will be taking care of pets for several days, I would prefer to care for the pets in your home. I currently don't have accommodations to care for pets where I live.

About: Hi, I am an animal lover and former rescue volunteer & pet sitting professional. Being a long time animal owner (cats, dogs, turtles, hamsters & fish), I understand the importance of having a responsible and dedicated sitter available. In the past I have rescued and boarded different dogs and cats with different needs keeping them on holistic diets and regular baths when needed, I thrive in giving them a loving environment at home (with tons of cuddles). I also have a personal belief on the importance of outdoor activity. I have a lot of experience with medium and larger breeds (Pomeranian, Beagles, Chow Chow, Rottweiler, Sheperds, Labs, & Mixes, etc), and also with senior dogs. I am a doggie parent. I also will send you periodic pictures of your fur baby during their time with me. I do walk in visits for pet parents. I try to work with a flexible schedule, but it depends on the needs of the pet. Some pets preffer 2 visits per day to make sure house is clean and pets are fed. But mostly will preffer the ability to drop in the evenings and early mornings. When I go to clients homes, I first have a meet and greet to determine best fit. I also like to fill out a log for all the dog needs. Some people like to give me a list and I am very happy when they do! I adapt to the need of the pet. For example some cats are shy and take longer to interact. I talk to them and keep them company. Make sure to take out any pet who enjoys a good 20-30 minute walk.

At 18, I was a manager at a dog boarding facility as well as a dog foster parent for dogs that had behavioral problems and health issues. As of 5 years ago, I started showing and breeding Labradors and doing professional training. I love everything about dogs and want to help you keep them happy!!! My schedule is very flexible as I run my own business and make my own schedule. I have plenty of time to walk and care for dogs. About: All my life I’ve been obsessed with dogs 🐶 When I was finishing up nursing school, I needed to find some part time work to help make ends meet. I found a job as a kennel technician at a commercial dog boarding facility - where I mostly cleaned up to 36 dogs daily messes and gave them social enrichment. I quickly jumped up the short ladder of management and took over as CEO right around my first year mark of employment. I have cared for hundreds, possibly a thousand plus dogs in the last half of my entire lifetime. I’ve worked hard to help dogs and owners alike understand eachother better - communication often needs no words. I specialize in “project pups”, socialization and reactivity. I’ve taken care of newborn puppies to teenage obedience school dropouts - through the medically fragile & elderly pooches on palliative care & absolutely everything in between. I’ve worked in a rescue as an adoption coordinator and had the extreme pleasure of helping people and pooches find their forever spaces together. Along with rescuing over a dozen dogs of my own over the years & nursing several back to health from horrific conditions. Dogs are my passion - simple as that. Nothing makes me happier than helping a dog & owner relationship thrive. I am a stay at home mom, my boys are 2 & 3 years old. They’ve been raised around dogs & already have learned a healthy respect for their space. I am hyper vigilant & always err on the extreme side of caution for everyone’s safety - especially when it comes to those tricky resources. Other than weekly appointments on Mondays - we have a very flexible and open schedule. Our yard is fully fenced with 6 foot - reinforced wood fencing. Gates are double locked to keep toddlers from opening them - dogs too. I have a 10 year old spayed female border collie that I picked from her litter at 3 weeks old. She’s my right hand gal and socially bulletproof when it comes to hanging out with her furry friends. I often used her as the “Ice Breaker” dog when I ran the boarding facility - meaning she did all the temperament testing for any newly boarded dogs we were socially unsure about. We have multiple baby gates, and crate option for separation of space. A dog door built into our back door leading into our fully fenced, toddlerized but maintained, grassy residential yard on a quarter acre. We live in a very quiet tiny town on an even quieter little street, perfect for safely regulated walks and training opportunities.

About: I have experience with all sorts of animals. I have worked with dogs and cats and most other household pets including snakes and birds. I have also worked with horses and most livestock farm animals. I make a daily roster of animals to care for and schedule my time accordingly. I care for my animals first always and help my community with animal care needs. I have a large fenced yard with room to run. I have 2 female dogs that are well trained and managed. The smaller mutt is elderly (11) and has a room of her own where she will put herself as needed. My big girl Sally, the Bernese is friendly to all animals large or small and really the very best calm neutral dog I have ever known.

About: 8 years of experience with birds, and 3 with cats! Some experience with puppies and senior dogs belonging to friends and family. I'm happy to feed, medicate and play with your pet! If it's a dog, I can take them on walks up to about a mile per walk. Past experiences with pets include owning budgies starting when I was 14 (sadly, my budgie has passed away since, but lived a long and happy life) as well as living with roommates who had cats for the past 3 years. Experience with dogs is more limited, however I do have experience with my family's senior dog from childhood as well as occasionally puppy-sitting for my in-laws. In terms of availability, I am between jobs at the moment so I am very flexible. I am available pretty much anytime but have a preference for weekdays. New to the area and searching for jobs, so right now availability is very flexible. Preference for weekdays and mornings/afternoons. Anything works though, just let me know! Will follow any special instructions, no matter how convoluted! My roomate's cat is very ritualistic with her morning routine, so I get it. I would much rather pet-sit at the client's house rather than my own, especially as I do live in a shoebox apartment.

About: I work as a veterinary technician and have 10+ years of pet sitting under my belt. I also have a private mobile nail trimming business that I run part time on the side, I have a pretty large client base with many references from that. I am comfortable working with pets of all shapes and sizes, and don’t have a problem working with pets that may have behavioral concerns. I can administer medications and even care for pets with serious medical needs. I am currently working full time at a veterinary hospital but I have 3 days off per week for all day service and can make home stops in the AM before work and PM after work. Unfortunately at this time I do not offer services in my own home - I have two dogs and two cats of my own, and one of my dogs is elderly and extremely grouchy so bringing in outside pets is not an option for our household. I am no longer offering overnights unless it’s a single overnight. My typical client hires me to stop in 2-3 times daily to feed, walk, medicate, and play with their pets! I also offer dog walking services and mobile nail trimming/basic grooming!

About: My family has had dogs my entire life (as well as chickens, ferrets, and a cat!). I've helped train, care for, feed, groom, play with, and dog sit for my family and others, and I'm excited to meet some new furry friends in Eugene! I believe that my biggest strength as a pet sitter is my ability to match your dog's energy level. I love playing tug, fetch, and frisbee, but I'm also always down for a snuggle, backscratch, or bellyrub too. I also don't mind getting licked which has helped me make many furry friends over the years :) I am a student at the U of O, but my schedule is quite flexible. I am available for drop-in visits during the day as well as weeknights after 6pm and all weekend. I believe that building trust with a dog is crucial, so I am intentional about letting them approach me first, sniff me, and take however long they need to feel comfortable in my presence.
