“Amelia was a fantastic sitter for our 3 pets! She was very responsive to our text check-ins, but also proactively sent updates, which we appreciated. She seemed to really care about our dog and cats, and their individual needs and personalities. We felt like they were in good hands while we were away--we will definitely have her sit for our pets again!”

“We couldn’t ask for anyone better than Kaylee! She takes the absolute best care of our dog and cat while we are away that we never have an ounce of worry. Our animals love her, and she is extremely reliable and great with communication. We cannot recommend Kaylee enough, we wish we could give her 10 stars. Thank you!!”

About: I’ve owned pets of all kinds my whole life. I’ve been trusted with taking care of my family and friends’ pets since I was twelve. One of my cats is older than me and has been with me my entire life, so I know very well how to take care of elderly and disabled animals, especially cats. I’ve also taken care of multiple very energetic dogs and I know how to handle their behavior. I’m very open to long play sessions or walks, but if a calm presence is what your pet needs, I am very good at providing that as well. I’m very adaptable. Whatever your pet needs, I am more than willing to do my best to give it. I’m a college student who is busy every afternoon but most mornings and almost every evening and night I am fully available for your pet. I’m completely free on the weekends as well. Understanding the signals pets use to communicate is one of the most important things to me. I value your pet’s safety and to me it is very important to know what they’re trying to say in times of crisis. I also am conscious of things in homes that may be harmful to pets, such as certain herbs, scents, or foods, and I go out of my way to ensure that pets do not make contact with anything that could be dangerous to them. Whatever your pet’s needs are, I want them to be met and for your animal to feel safe and comfortable with me and the environment.
“I cannot say enough good things about Alyssa and Eve, our amazing pet sitters! From the moment they arrived to the moment we landed back safely in Cincinnati, they exceeded our expectations in every way. Their communication was exceptional, keeping us constantly updated with messages and loads of pictures. They stayed at our home and maintained everything wonderfully, showing incredible love and kindness to our three pets, each with their own unique personalities. One of our dogs is particularly anxious and doesn't handle change or thunderstorms well. Alyssa and Eve took special care of him, even turning on purple lighting and playing calming music to help him relax and cuddle. This thoughtful touch made a world of difference for our stressed pup. Our home was treated as if it were their own, and their attention to detail and respect for our space was evident. They spent time outside playing with the dogs, ensuring they got plenty of exercise and fun. They also made special time to play with our cat, ensuring every pet felt loved and attended to. Both Alyssa and Eve dedicated their days and evenings to our pets, providing them with constant companionship and care. Their dedication, compassion, and professionalism have truly set them apart. We feel incredibly fortunate to have found such wonderful pet sitters and would highly recommend them to anyone in need of exceptional pet care.”

“Katelyn did an EXCELLENT job of watching our pup Chunk in our home. She was with him most of every day rather than just popping in quickly feed him and let him out. He got lots of exercise and ball time. She contacted us when she had a question about whether a new kind of treat was ok for him. And we came home to a happy dog and a clean and tidy house. We would use Katelyn again in a heartbeat!”

About: I have been around dogs all my life and have had experience with all kinds of dogs from rottweiler's to chihuahua's and puppies to seniors. I took a small hiatus on pet sitting but had been pet sitting for about 6 years prior and have had experience as a volunteer dog walker at animal shelters and have been fear free certified. I am very patient and gentle, and a firm believer in positive reinforcement. I love all breeds of dogs, and know like people it's the inside that counts not how they look. I am able to stay at your house or just do check in visits. I have also grown up and worked with other animals such as cats, ferrets, reptiles, and fish and can help you with any of your exotic pets as well. If you are booking for house sitting please book a week in advance as I have my own pets I need to make accommodations for. I work full time at an animal shelter and have gained some knowledge of giving medications and have had personal pets who needed medication such as pills or ointment. With my dog we like to go to small quiet dog parks and do nature walks on my days off. On work days we like to cuddle on the couch and watch shows or movies especially on cold days.
“Julia was great! She has great communication and gives updates on the dogs with pictures, which is nice to have while away. I am excited to have found her and have already re-booked for future dog sitting!”

“Cierra checks all the boxes on being trustworthy and caring for homes and pets! She communicates timely and effectively. She was conscientious about keeping the house in good order, and cleaned up everything as if she wasn't there. And, she was so sweet to my dog that I imagine he was disappointed to see me... I don't want to talk her up this much because I don't want her so busy that she's unavailable for my furry buddy in the future, but it’s a fair assessment of her value. I highly recommend her.”
“Olivia was really wonderful. She took great care of our pups and send regular updates and photos. She was great and communicating with us and very responsive to our messages. Will definitely hire her again!”

“Booked with Mathison on short notice and feel grateful to have met her. She stayed in home for multiple days caring for our 3 pets. Walking our dog, administering his daily meds., and spoiling all of them with attention. We appreciated her timely communication, including pics of our pets while we were away. Highly recommend her as she was prompt, reliable and great with our pets.”

“Llewyn did a fantastic job with Strider. Strider isn't an easy dog to watch and we were gone for 8 days..., extremely pleased that Llewyn managed to make it through. We'll definitely re-book (for shorter trips) with her.”

“Second time booking Cassandra and we are so thankful for her thoughtful care, know that our pups are in good hands while we are gone. We got pictures and updates daily. Would recommend to anyone! Thank you Cassandra!!”

“Joshua keeps my older, blind and deaf ( nearly so) dog in our own home and he seems to be very well cared for while I’m away. It is so nice to have this service available for the pair of us, it reduces stress to be in his own home.”

About: I have experience with all sorts of animals. I have worked with dogs and cats and most other household pets including snakes and birds. I have also worked with horses and most livestock farm animals. I make a daily roster of animals to care for and schedule my time accordingly. I care for my animals first always and help my community with animal care needs. I have a large fenced yard with room to run. I have 2 female dogs that are well trained and managed. The smaller mutt is elderly (11) and has a room of her own where she will put herself as needed. My big girl Sally, the Bernese is friendly to all animals large or small and really the very best calm neutral dog I have ever known.
Danebo pet parents share their Rover experiences
Jamil did an incredible job with our two small pups, so much so we felt like they were cared for the same if not better as when we are home . They went on long walks, got lots of treats, and we received many photos and videos. It’s clear Jamil is a true animal lover and even better she left our home in excellent condition. Would definitely hire her again!

Ashley is excellent with our fur (and plant) babies! We return to a clean house and well cared-for kitties and pups. Ashley also went above and beyond when we missed our connection and had to stay overnight on our journey home. We will definitely book with Ashley again!

Had a great experience and all my animals (3 cats and 2 dogs) were well taken care of! My cat who usually needs time to love people was snuggling her within a couple of hours (to give uou an idea how good she is with animals). I will happily request and ideally only use Mathison in the future!

Connor was exactly what I needed for the care of my senior dog and cat - he was great at communicating, especially when he wanted to check if my cat hiding for the first day was normal or if he should be worried, and sent photos of my pets while we were away. I absolutely would book Connor again!

Really appreciate Abigail’s stellar care for Hairy, flexibility with our (self made!) chaos re dates, extra time, forgotten items etc. Everything was chill and fur kids all were happy despite the holiday and fireworks. Hairy got lots of walks and his preferred regularly scheduled company and bedtime story/aka person at home 💕. So great to know he wasn’t stressed and we could enjoy the time away.
