“Valarie is the best very accommodating. She clearly loves what she’s doing in the dogs that she cares for. I would recommend her to anybody. And will use her every time I’m in Eugene.”

“Denise is so great with Biscuit. Biscuit is always excited and happy when we drop her off. I know she is well cared for. I appreciate the pictures and reports Denise sends us.”

“Diane was really conscientious about introducing the dogs and how my senior girl would acclimate and I really appreciated that as Lucy is not used to day care. She was flexible about time, has a nice big back yard and a calm demeanor. We will stay again if back in the area!”

“Super friendly and took great care of Piper! Super easy drop off & pick up! Made our day going to the Ducks game stress free knowing she was being well taken care of. Thanks!”

“Eliana was amazing! Watched our pup in a pinch and made sure she stayed safe. I loved all the updates and I know our girl enjoyed all the pets and treats! Would definitely recommend Eliana!”

“Michelly is a wonderful dog sitter! We needed a place for our Golden Retriever puppy to stay during the days while our house was being remodeled. Michelly always responded to my texts and emails quickly, she was accommodating and flexible when I needed to make last minute changes and requests, and most importantly, our dog LOVED staying at her house! The big fenced in backyard is perfect for an energetic puppy, and our dog came home happy and exhausted each day. We highly recommend Michelly!”

“Excellent communication, and could accommodate us on short notice, our dog got some dog playtime while my daughter and I attended a live sporting event. Good with dogs, highly recommended.”

About: As a long time pet lover, I began caring for dogs in my neighborhood and volunteering at the local animal shelter at the age of 12. I went on to work for a local petsitting company as a house sitter and dog walker while I completed my undergraduate degree in Psychology. I am a skilled dog trainer currently offering training services in the Eugene/Springfield area. My dog training career started when I completed an internship with a local dog trainer in high school and since then I have continued to expand my knowledge of dog behavior through training experience, research, interviews with trainers, and online courses. I utilize gentle training techniques that reduce fear, anxiety, and stress in dogs and promote relaxation and confidence. I never engage in harsh training methods such as prong collars, shock collars, dominance, or physical force; my technique is based only on positive reinforcement and trust. I specialize in training dogs with separation anxiety so if your dog suffers from this, they will be in good hands and they will never be left alone for long periods. I've been training dogs and offering dog boarding and daycare in my home to existing clients for the past 10 months or so. I have experience with a variety of senior dogs and I am able to administer any medications your dog requires. I also offer daily teeth brushing if this is part of your dog's routine. You can rest assured that whatever your pet's needs are, they will be met while they are under my care. I am also an independently insured petsitter with Pet Care Insurance which covers accidents or injuries and provides that extra peace of mind. My husband and I both work from home, so usually there is always someone home with the dogs. I provide boarding and daycare 7-days a week and my job is flexible allowing me to be attentive to your dog's needs throughout the day. I am very conscious of supervising all play interactions and always ready to intervene if needed. My home is an ideal boarding or daycare situation for your small dog. I don’t accept dogs over 40 lbs (preferring dogs that are 29 lbs or less) and I carefully screen all dogs for proper temperament. My priority is to ensure a safe environment for small dogs, and reduce the risk of injury. When I do have dogs of different sizes together I carefully supervise interactions and separate if needed. I provide a fenced yard, daily walks (if desired) and frequent potty breaks. In order to keep your dog safe at night, I offer the option of sleeping in a crate in the bedroom with us, or sleeping loose outside of our bedroom where they'll have comfy couches and beds available. Dogs under 13 lbs can sleep in a crate that is at the same level as our bed so they feel like they are in the bed with us. I do not by default require dogs to be crated, and if you prefer your dog not be crated they can usually have a crate-free experience at my house. In this case, I only use a crate or exercise pen as a last resort if your dog displays destructive behaviors that cannot be managed. On the other hand, if your dog is already crate-trained, then I can use a crate to maintain a routine your dog is familiar with. I am very safety oriented and I do will ensure your dog is never left unsupervised with my dogs, or dogs from other households, including at night. I utilize tall, secure gates to separate my house into three different areas which ensures the safety of all dogs when I am not able to supervise them. I also ensure all dogs are secured when doors to the outside are being opened to prevent escape artists. I always check the vaccination status (including bordatella) of all potential dogs who stay with me. If your dog experiences a veterinary emergency, I can take them to Wilvet South at 444 B Street in Springfield. I do everything I can to make sure your pet has a stress-free, comfortable stay with me.
“This was my first time leaving my pup with someone new, so naturally I was a little nervous—but they totally put my mind at ease! They were super attentive with my little spoiled brat (and I say that with love 😄). He was always wagging his butt and happy to go back, which says it all. I really appreciated how they noticed he was picky with food—he wouldn’t eat there, but they still checked in and made sure I knew. He had plenty of playtime and always came home happy and tired, which is a win in my book! I didn’t want him going on walks because of his reactivity to cars, and they totally respected that—he got plenty of backyard play instead. Bonus points for being flexible with my chaotic work schedule. Highly recommend! 🐾”

“Alisa was fantastic. Our 6 month Bernese Mountain Dog was happy to spend 8 hours with every day of a three-day volleyball tournament. Penny was incredibly happy to be dropped off every day, which was a testament to how well Alisa pampered her! Thank you!”

“Heather loves our pup like he was her own! Our pup is showered with love, attention and gets 2 walks while at Heathers house for doggy day care! I appreciate she’s been very accommodating to any rules/ behavior things we’ve been focusing on and continues to reinforce what we’re working on. I feel so comfortable leaving our pup in Heather’s loving care and I’m so thankful we found her!”

“We were nervous to leave our dog with strangers as we had never left her before. They were very attentive and introduced her to the other dogs and made sure She was comfortable before we left her. We would definitely leave her with Jennifer and Josh again!”

“It is impossible to say enough wonderful things about Talitha (Tilly). Our staffy/husky/shepherd boy is our world and we are very picky about his care. He was in excellent hands with Tilly. She is so caring and loving. She sent us pictures of his walks and him lazing around at her house looking very cozy. We knew he felt at ease and so did we. And when a work trip delayed travel plans, she worked with us to provide last minute care as well. We will absolutely be using her in the future. She is an absolute delight (and our boy agrees!)”

About: I worked in Veterinary medicine as a CVT for 15 years. I’m now in real estate so I have the experience but am able to work from home and spend hours with animals that need special care & medications (whether orally, injectable or topically). I am comfortable with most farm animals as well. My rates are based off of pets that need that extra care/ medications etc. Depending on their needs (or ease of care) my rates can be flexible! Just ask and we can discuss your/your pets needs to figure it out I am available for walks or drop ins most days but for boarding (my house or yours), I am available Wednesdays and Thursdays and every other weekend. Because I can work from home your animals don’t have to be lonely while you’re away! I am active, healthy and smoke free. I love walking dogs, running them at the park, playing chase or tug a war or whatever shenanigans your pet loves. I’ve raised goats, chickens and pigs and have some experience with cows and horses. I have helped with reptiles and birds too.. As having worked in day practice and emergency medicine I have a wide knowledge and experiences with various medical needs, diseases and behaviors. I pay close attention to body language and want to make your time away as stress free and reassured as possible. I am happy to help with house needs during the stay as well such as watering plants, getting the mail, taking out the trash, etc.
About: I’ve been surrounded by pets since a small child, from city to country life, dogs and cats to guinea pigs, bunnies, amphibians, fish of all sizes, feathered friends, farm animals, etc. I have been lucky to be loved by dogs my entire life, and there would be a huge void without them. My ultimate dream would be to have my own rescue and take in a ridiculous amount of pets needing love, care, and attention. I have watched friends’ and family’s pets and owned many sizes, breeds, and temperaments of dogs but am particularly a lover of northern breeds! I have even bred and raised a few litters of huskies and kept many of them as well. Of course, my favorite color is husky fur! Last year, I rescued a dog for the first time and this experience has taught me a lot about distressed, high anxiety, and untrained dogs that come with unknown traumas, fears, and unique needs — and I’m still learning! I have “survived” (ha!) through the distinct trials and joys that come with puppies learning manners, boundary-pushing dogs in their teens, and persnickety, tired, or low-energy senior dogs, as well as high-energy dogs, escape artists, dominant mama dogs, dogs afraid of water or grooming, submissive fur babies always in need of a pack and a leader. And I have been patient with or found humor in every behavioral quirk and unique personality trait. I love to bike-jour, swim, paddle, camp, and adventure with my dogs just as much as I love snuggling inside, watching them sleep while grabbing cameos, playing with them one on one, basking in the sunshine and playing with or in water, and frequenting local parks to see them socialize and get their zoomies out. I also like to play fetch and brain games with those dogs needing a little “extra” stimulation. I don’t flinch from caring for large groups of dogs simultaneously, dog nose art, dogs with special needs, or even naughty by nature fur babies (my kids might say I have a knack for picking these more spirited and escapist dogs). I have cared for two pets with chronic illnesses who required special diets and administering of meds and IVs so am not fearful of caring for your own pets if they have special needs. And I have had to manage through vet emergencies and making decisions about/coping through the pain of the rainbow bridge. I am available most days/nights of the week, and weekends. (I have flexibility to choose weekdays/times that I must work at the office vs home.) I have a fenced yard and can give both indoor time and outdoor exercise or sunbathing; and I can crate your dog if or when needed. Your pets will be safe and happy with Tahoe, Jazmine, and me; and they can relax, play outside, be fed, and get the same attention and care I give my own pets!
“I actually met jamie at the dog park and have had her as my dogs sitter since he was about 4 months old. Her and her kids treat him great and give him lots of love and exercise. I decided to give her a review in hopes it'll help someone else decide to go with her.”

“Emma was a very wonderful sitter and so conscientious to our dog’s needs. She was communicative with us to let us know he was in good hands. We look forward to having her watch our dog again”
