“I appreciated Claire's thoughtful intake process, her speed at replying, and her feedback from my girl's visit. Claire clearly cares about dogs and facilitating doggie-people relationships. I recommend her and look forward to booking future stays with her.”

“Thank you so so much for being patient with little ball of anxiety. I am so glad Oaks liked it. I highly highly recommend Valerie. Thank you also for keeping me in the loop with how she was doing, it helped me :)”

“Denise did a great job! Biscuit was happy when we picked her up. She took Biscuit for walks and recorded them. Biscuit was comfortable enough to take a nap. I also appreciate the good day care price. We will use her again.”

“My dogs were happy and healthy every time I picked them up, which is the most important factor. Diane was communicative, friendly, flexible, and accommodating. I appreciated her going out of her way to treat me and my dogs well.”

“Joshua and Jenny were wonderful with my dog, and I so appreciate their flexibility with meeting me in the late evening and ensuring Daisy had a cozy place to spend a long day while I was busy with meetings on a visit to Eugene. Daisy was nervous at first around the big, but gentle, dogs in the home because she is teeny tiny, but they gave her time to get used to everything and settle in, and by the end of the day Daisy was so comfortable she was eating her dinner, which historically she is too antsy to do at new sitters’ houses! Daisy says thank you to Jenny for the lap time and snuggles. And communication with Joshua was always extremely fast, which put me at ease. Thank you both!”

“Thank you, thank you! You guys are amazing! I would definitely bring my dog here again, he always has such a good time at your place!! You have a nice system set up for the dogs to both play hard and rest when they need to. I appreciate all the hard work you put into it.”

“Howser thoroughly enjoyed his time with Angie and her pups! It's so comforting to know he gets to be with a true dog lover when I need to be away from him.”

“Her and her hubby are so sweet. My pup seemed happy. Their home was nice and clean. Everytime I'm in their neck of the woods, I'll be sure to look up their availability. My only wish is she is closer to me so I can drop off my pup more often! Lol.”

“Ying is absolutely fantastic! He took great care of our dog, making sure he had lots of exercise and affection and treats! He sent lots of videos and pictures during the day so we knew he was in good hands. We are very picky about who we trust with our dog and Ying is top notch! We have already booked another day with him. Thank you, Ying!”

“Hoppy is a bit of a handful and is always up to something, he seems to enjoy the small groups of dogs Michelly places him with and he comes home tired, so I know he's been playing all day. I highly recommend.”

“I couldn't ask for a better sitter for my dog Juniper. She felt right at home in Jamie's house and with her family. They gave her lots of attention throughout the day and even took her to hang out with the neighbors' dogs. Jamie sent me updates and lots of pictures throughout the day and that really helped to ease my anxiety while at work. 10/10 would recommend to everyone for dog sitting and I will definitely be bringing Juniper back to Jamie in the future!!!”

“Jennifer and Josh were very accommodating and flexible with my situation, and took great care of Angel while she was there! As this was my first time using Rover, and the fact that I was visiting from out of state, there was some natural trepidation to leaving my pupper with someone. But given their years of experience, and updates/photos throughout the day, I knew my girl was in great hands and I didn’t have a single worry or concern. I can recommend their service wholeheartedly!”

“Our family lucked out finding Alisa to dogsit our anxious pomsky! Alisa is a friendly, fun, experienced sitter and we’re grateful she was able to watch our pup for the day. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly recommended!”

“Ruthie was excellent with my pup. Sent lots of photos, provided top notch care, and made sure he got a mix of inside & outside time. I would definitely let Ruthie watch my boy again!”

About: Hi there! My journey in professional animal care began early, shadowing my mother in her animal behavior and care business. I gained hands-on experience with a wide range of species—including dogs, cats, horses, donkeys, cattle, goats, and rabbits—which shaped my understanding of how to meet animals where they are: emotionally, behaviorally, and physically. While I am not a licensed dog trainer, I’ve spent much of my life developing a thoughtful, intuitive approach to animal care. My professional background includes extensive training in wildlife handling and care techniques. During college, I volunteered at the Cascades Raptor Center in Eugene, assisting with the daily care and rehabilitation of birds of prey. Over the years, I’ve also provided pet care for friends and family, building trust through reliability, compassion, and a deep respect for each animal’s unique needs. Now, I’m excited to offer my experience and dedication to the local community. I’m Fear Free Certified for dogs, and while I’m not certified for cats or other animals, I apply many of the same principles across species: 🧘♀️ Creating low-stress environments 🐾 Respecting boundaries and body language 🛏️ Offering comfort, routine, and enrichment 🐕🦺 Using gentle handling and positive reinforcement In 2024, I worked with shelter animals at Greenhill Humane Society, where I received extensive behavioral training and advanced to independently care for dogs and support enrichment for cats. That experience helped me develop a deep understanding of animal behavior, stress signals, and how to build trust with pets from all backgrounds. What I offer: 🐶🐱 Drop-in visits, walks, feeding, litter care & medication support 🧶 Enrichment activities tailored to your pet’s personality 📸 Daily updates with photos and notes 🐾 Experience with seniors, shy pets, and those with special needs Whether your pet is playful, reserved, or somewhere in between, I bring calm energy, reliable care, and a genuine love for animals to every visit. Thank you for considering me — as someone who has also used Rover for my own pets, I know it can be daunting to find the perfect fit for your furbabies. Pet care is a natural part of my daily rhythm. I work from home, which gives me the flexibility to provide attentive, consistent care throughout the day. Whether it’s a midday walk, a drop-in visit, or extended overnight care, I’m able to adjust my schedule to meet your pet’s needs without the constraints of a traditional 9–5 job. Because I’m home-based, I can offer: 🐕 Timely potty breaks and walks 🐈 Calm, low-stress drop-ins for cats and small pets 🐾 Flexible scheduling for last-minute requests Whether your pet needs a quick check-in or more involved care, I’m able to integrate it seamlessly into my day, ensuring they get the attention and comfort they deserve. I currently do not offer in-home boarding, but I provide personalized care in your pet’s own home, where they feel most comfortable and secure. Whether it's a quick drop-in, a longer visit, or multiple check-ins throughout the day, I tailor each session to your pet’s routine and emotional needs. Because I work from home, my schedule is flexible—I can accommodate midday visits, early mornings, or evening care depending on your pet’s habits. I focus on creating a calm, low-stress experience by respecting their space, reading their body language, and offering enrichment that suits their personality. Your pet gets: 🐾 Familiar surroundings and routines 🧘♀️ Low-stress care with gentle handling 🐕 Walks, playtime, feeding & medication support 📸 Updates so you stay connected I treat every visit as a chance to build trust and make your pet’s day better. Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Bethel
Alisa watched our dogs years ago and we got on the app on a whim trip to Eugene and she was still available and watched our dogs again. She is great with them and provides me with a sense of ease. I don’t have any stress leaving them with her and she has a great yard for them to enjoy.

Denise was great at communicating and flexibility with leaving mochi . We were in town for a wedding and in a pickle . I rarely feel comfortable leaving her with a stranger but felt so comfortable with Denise after we met her . Mochi was happy and content when we picked her up !

Rosa is lovely. She communicates well, asks great questions about how to make your pet most comfortable, and has a kind, calming demeanor. My dog was able to stay at her place for daycare for two days and by the second he was excited to see her immediately after we parked. Would certainly have her pet sit my pup again.

Claire was an absolute lifesaver! We needed someone to take care of Peppa on very short notice so I could attend my niece’s graduation, and Claire stepped in without hesitation. From the moment we connected, she was responsive, kind, and genuinely caring. Peppa was happy, comfortable, and clearly well cared for during her stay. Claire kept me updated, which gave me peace of mind while I was away enjoying such an important family event. It’s never easy leaving your dog with someone new, but Claire made the entire experience stress-free. I am incredibly grateful for her flexibility, reliability, and the love she showed Peppa. I would absolutely trust her with Peppa again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dependable and compassionate sitter. Thank you, Claire!

An excellent place for my pup ! They are truly nice people, it’s evident that they care about their dog and the pups that come to visit them! I felt totally comfortable leaving my dog with them and he settled in right away, happily sniffing the yard and racing around the big tree in back. I appreciated that Kelsey took time to do a little fun extra training with him and she sent lots of pictures throughout the day. We will definitely book more!

Elaina is the best! My dog has bad separation anxiety and she took great care of him. He got lots of one on one attention, play time, and exercise outside. I don’t feel secure with just any sitter, but I felt very relaxed knowing he was in great hands with Elania. 12/10 :)

Madyson kept Penny in her home while I needed to be away all day. I liked that I was able to see the walk they went on and some photos of Penny during the day. I appreciated how communicative Madyson has been about this day of daycare and about our upcoming boarding. I feel that my shy little dog will be well cared for while I'm out of town.

All positives! Great location - large fenced yard and adjacent to walking path. Caitlin was easy and prompt to communicate with electronically and super-nice to interact with in person. And most importantly, you can tell she loves animals and I could tell my from my dog’s behavior that she was well cared for.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Bethel commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in OR ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
