Hi there! My journey in professional animal care began early, shadowing my mother in her animal behavior and care business. I gained hands-on experience with a wide range of species—including dogs, cats, horses, donkeys, cattle, goats, and rabbits—which shaped my understanding of how to meet animals where they are: emotionally, behaviorally, and physically. While I am not a licensed dog trainer, I’ve spent much of my life developing a thoughtful, intuitive approach to animal care. My professional background includes extensive training in wildlife handling and care techniques. During college, I volunteered at the Cascades Raptor Center in Eugene, assisting with the daily care and rehabilitation of birds of prey. Over the years, I’ve also provided pet care for friends and family, building trust through reliability, compassion, and a deep respect for each animal’s unique needs. Now, I’m excited to offer my experience and dedication to the local community. I’m Fear Free Certified for dogs, and while I’m not certified for cats or other animals, I apply many of the same principles across species: 🧘♀️ Creating low-stress environments 🐾 Respecting boundaries and body language 🛏️ Offering comfort, routine, and enrichment 🐕🦺 Using gentle handling and positive reinforcement In 2024, I worked with shelter animals at Greenhill Humane Society, where I received extensive behavioral training and advanced to independently care for dogs and support enrichment for cats. That experience helped me develop a deep understanding of animal behavior, stress signals, and how to build trust with pets from all backgrounds. I currently do not offer in-home boarding, but I provide personalized care in your pet’s own home, where they feel most comfortable and secure. Whether it's a quick drop-in, a longer visit, or multiple check-ins throughout the day, I tailor each session to your pet’s routine and emotional needs. Because I work from home, my schedule is flexible—I can accommodate midday visits, early mornings, or evening care depending on your pet’s habits. I focus on creating a calm, low-stress experience by respecting their space, reading their body language, and offering enrichment that suits their personality. Eliana took such good care of our dogs and home while we were gone. Our dogs were relaxed and happy when we got home and she gave great updates while we were away. Elaina is the best! My dog has bad separation anxiety and she took great care of him. He got lots of one on one attention, play time, and exercise outside. I don’t feel secure with just any sitter, but I felt very relaxed knowing he was in great hands with Elania. 12/10 :)

We couldn’t have asked for a better caretaker for our dogs! From start to finish, Eliana was incredibly communicative and responsive, keeping us updated with plenty of thorough check-ins and a bunch of photos and videos of our dogs having fun, which always puts our minds at ease. It is very clear Eliana has a lot of experience with dogs, especially with pups who need a little extra attention. She knew exactly how to adapt to different situations and made sure everyone was comfortable and happy. When we got home, our dogs were relaxed, content, and clearly well cared for. They’d obviously been both physically and mentally engaged while we were away, with fun time outside and stimulating activities inside. My partner and I felt totally at ease knowing our dogs were in such capable hands. We’d absolutely recommend Eliana to anyone looking for a reliable, experienced, and attentive sitter!
Eliana is so wonderful and it’s clear that she has an intuitive understanding of pups! We can be anxious travelers because I’m sure like many, our dog is our baby. He was so well cared for while we were away and we felt zero stress. We loved getting photo updates, and the communication was wonderful. She even suggested a new method for our walks that will help with our dog’s usual pulling.
