I had a great experience with Dylan! We did a meet and greet at a park, then I was able to see his home, and catered to my puppy’s needs. She is a bit reactive so I was so grateful to find someone able to care for her and provide the additional support that she requires :)

Schedule
I keep a consistent schedule of recurring dog-walking and training appointments, while reserving time for boarding, daycare, and other care needs. I plan my schedule around confirmed bookings so that each dog in my care has their well-being prioritized. I'm happy to discuss your dog's needs and see what works with my availability. **Walks & drop-ins: 9 AM–7 PM **Boarding & daycare drop-off/pick-up: 8 AM–8 PM

I pay close attention to each dog's body language, communication, and individual temperament so I can respond appropriately and help them feel safe and comfortable. Good care means more than keeping a dog fed and exercised. I provide structure, reinforce good manners, and make sure nuisance behaviors aren't allowed to become habits while your dog is in my care. I build trust through patience, consistency, and clear communication, while adapting my approach to each individual dog.

A typical day
No two dogs are exactly alike, so I don't follow a one-size-fits-all routine. Depending on your dog's needs and preferences, their time with me might include walks, hiking, play, exploration, mental stimulation, training reinforcement, or simply relaxing and enjoying some company. I live near walking paths, city parks, and a dog park, and I also have access to a rural property where appropriate dogs can enjoy more adventurous outings. Some parts of the day do need to be structured, particularly mealtimes. Because I may have multiple unfamiliar dogs in my care, dogs are separated, monitored, and fed during designated meal windows. These times may not perfectly match your dog's usual feeding schedule at home, but this structure helps me provide a safe and controlled environment for everyone. Activities and interactions are always adjusted to each dog's temperament, comfort, and abilities.

Please let me know about anything that may affect their care, including behavioral concerns, sensitivities, medical or dietary needs, separation difficulties, reactivity, resource guarding, or anything else you think I should know. It's also helpful to know your dog's experience with things like crates, recall, loose-leash walking, other dogs, and unfamiliar environments. Honest information helps me plan appropriate activities and interactions and keep your dog safe and comfortable.
