Our booking was for 3 dogs (Gordon Setter (1 yo), Westie (5yo), and Dachshund (11yo) in our home for around 5-6 hours. Joshua was a repeat for us, and has consistently managed the variety of ages and behaviors impressively well! He also understood each breed bonds right away or takes a bit of time to bond. For example, he commented that our doxie took about an hour to bond, and then was a cuddle pup. About: I’ve been around animals all my life! I grew up on a farm with dogs, cats, cows, goats, chickens, etc. I’ve pet sat for many of my friends and have references that can vouch for the care and effort I put into caring for their pets. Ruby was a lifesaver for us and our 3 dogs + 3 cats. After having a very stressful sitter experience with someone else, we were scrambling to find a last minute sitter who could care for our dogs who have developed separation anxiety and can’t be left alone for too long. Ruby hopped on board last minute, provided clear and consistent updates, cared amazingly for all of our animals, and even went above and beyond with cleaning. She also was able to expertly give two of our animals’ important medications twice a day every day, and let us know each time that it went well so we didn’t have to worry. She provided personalized care for each of our animals, which span from a shy kitty, to a 6 year old 100+ lb Pyrenees with hip dysplasia, to a 9 month old puppy who isn’t easy to walk on leash! Highly recommend Ruby’s care to anyone feeling anxious about leaving their beloved animals.
Julia is a fantastic sitter! This is the second time I’ve worked with her but this was the first time she’s stayed overnight and it was a holiday! She’s so reliable, cares about your dogs and gives good updates and lots of pictures! She’s also very good at giving meds to a sometimes difficult dog and when my dog got an upset stomach, she communicated with me right away. I felt very comfortable leaving my babies with her!! We will definitely be working with Julia again!
