“Dani was very personable and pleasant to work with. Archie really enjoyed her and it was there to receive daily pictures and updates. We will employ her again.”

“Brandy is the best! She requested a meet and greet and we knew right away she'd be a perfect fit. Brandy was great with our fussy, senior dog following her routine perfectly. We came back to a spotless house and really appreciated the frequent updates while we were gone. We can recommend Brandy without hesitation and will absolutely be using her services in the future.”

“Sydnee did such a great job with my dog! She accommodated for his anxiety and was also super flexible for my crazy schedule. I’ll definitely be booking with her again in the future. Thank you so much Sydnee!”

“Rhiana stepped in for us last minute after our original sitter canceled. We couldn't have been more thrilled with how it worked out. Rhiana was great! Always a prompt communicator and gave us lots of picture updates. Looking forward to having her watch our four-legged babies again!”

“Julia was absolutely amazing with all 6 of my babies, I have 4 cats and 2 dogs and I could really tell that she was giving them the best care while we were away! She was great at communicating and asking anything she needed to know. We will definitely be using her again!”

“Katelyn did an EXCELLENT job of watching our pup Chunk in our home. She was with him most of every day rather than just popping in quickly feed him and let him out. He got lots of exercise and ball time. She contacted us when she had a question about whether a new kind of treat was ok for him. And we came home to a happy dog and a clean and tidy house. We would use Katelyn again in a heartbeat!”

“Kendra got our anxious dog out to do her business and gave her lots of love. All was well--clean house, clean cat boxes--when we returned. And she brought in an unexpected item the neighbors dropped off on short notice. Much appreciated!”

About: I have been around dogs all my life and have had experience with all kinds of dogs from rottweiler's to chihuahua's and puppies to seniors. I took a small hiatus on pet sitting but had been pet sitting for about 6 years prior and have had experience as a volunteer dog walker at animal shelters and have been fear free certified. I am very patient and gentle, and a firm believer in positive reinforcement. I love all breeds of dogs, and know like people it's the inside that counts not how they look. I am able to stay at your house or just do check in visits. I have also grown up and worked with other animals such as cats, ferrets, reptiles, and fish and can help you with any of your exotic pets as well. If you are booking for house sitting please book a week in advance as I have my own pets I need to make accommodations for. I work full time at an animal shelter and have gained some knowledge of giving medications and have had personal pets who needed medication such as pills or ointment. With my dog we like to go to small quiet dog parks and do nature walks on my days off. On work days we like to cuddle on the couch and watch shows or movies especially on cold days.
“Alivia sat for Sage over the Christmas holidays while we were out of town and was fantastic. She kept us updated and took great care him. We always feel a little wary leaving him but it makes it a lot easier having someone like Alivia to take care of him. I wholeheartedly recommend her to look after your pets!”

“Caralisa took such great care of our kitty, we are definitely booking her again!!! Thank you for going the extra mile and giving us peace of mind while away on vacation🤍”

“Olivia was great caring for our 2 goofy girls while we were on vacation over the holidays and she even made sure they were still happy and fed when our return flight got delayed. I would not hesitate to have Olivia watch our dogs again!!”

“Trinity was great and watched our dog over the holidays. We got daily photo updates and it was great to know he was in good hands. She was a great communicating prior to watching him and organizing a meet and greet with our dog a few days after we first communicated.”

“She did great! I was updated on my pups throughout my trip and felt very comfortable with her watching them. She left the house so close to how I left it, you couldn't even tell someone stayed there. Will book again. ☺️”

About: At this point in my life, I have cared for almost any domestic, exotic or farm animal that one can run into! Time spent working with snakes and spiders in a reptile shop, working on farms with cattle, goats and chickens, and caring for everyones furry companions like cats, dogs and rodents in homes has left me feeling well prepared to handle whatever critters come our way. My remaining pet is Sharkbait, a 9 year old heeler mix, who has been the everywhere and everything dog with me for the last 8+ years. She has met all of the above animals in her time and is the ultimate friend to all. As a retired service animal, she is kind and intuitive while responding calmly to reactive animals she meets. This makes her the perfect travel companion and buddy for all your babies and she will always be with me on sitting and walking jobs as she and I like to stay very active, walking anywhere from 2-6 miles daily together. Lets chat about your animals specific needs and background! Being active is a huge part of my day and I love making sure your animals are included in that! Walks to the park and jogs around the block are my favorite way to keep your pets focus while expending that pent up energy. For homebody pets I love a good puzzle or snuffle toy to keep their minds working in their safe space. Meet and greets together as a family are priority so that when you're out of town or at work, your pet(s) can trust Sharkbait and I are there to support them. Any candid tips and tricks around behaviors or routines are welcomed.

About: My early childhood was on a farm with about eight different types of animals. After the farm, we had a series of work dogs with advanced training, an Amazon parrot, and many other birds and cats over the years. I have rescued, rehabilitated and rehoused a dozen dogs, I have raised many wonderful animals over the years, but I am currently missing pet time since I lost my darling and aged cat last summer. I am a career licensed massage therapist, and have a knack for instantly connecting with animals as well and as putting them at ease. I have a lot of experience pet and housesitting. All of my clients that had me stay at their house thanked me at length for how clean, fresh smelling and tidy I left their homes. I am happy to accommodate household practices. I have experience with special needs, administering medications, and always enjoy brushing, petting and massaging. I’m usually pretty good at pilling. I love to play with animals as appropriate for their health and well-being. Very much adhere to any language, training practices, schedule, and diet requested by the owner. My goal is always to have you returning to a very happy, healthy animal. Unfortunately, I am no longer able to walk dogs or take a lot of stairs. I work part-time from home so I am always around. I have a very large fenced in backyard. I am happy to host mature dogs here and also visit or stay at your place to facilitate the best environment for your beloved pets. I work part-time right here on the property in 60-90 minute increments. I have plenty of time to spend with some beloved pets. Often the pets that are in my care follow me around the different rooms that I spend time in and lay down next to or on me. I have a cozy three bedroom two-story house with my workspace immediately behind. Owner preference dictates whether or not pets will be allowed on furniture, but there are many nice spaces to relax. I am happy to utilize crates and any other routines but do not require them. I only work part time and spend the majority of the time here on the property. I love to engage with animals, cuddle, play, brush, practice training, and unless the animal does not enjoy it, I cannot resist massaging pets as a career licensed massage therapist. I have a very large fenced in yard with a mature garden that is generally unaffected by hosting pets. I have created a very level lawn and there is a large track that dogs love to run where they can sprint without any holes or rocks to step in or on. I use a leash to go between the door and fenced yard for dogs. Things in my life have changed recently and I very much miss animal time. These days I am unable to go for walks, be dynamic with play or handle a leash if there is any tugging but I can toss a toy and inspire play/yard running. I am very much in tune with any animals in my care and I’m committed to keeping them safe, protected and in their routines that keep them feeling grounded and happy. I believe that draining mental and physical energy keeps animals happy. At your house, I am happy to follow all of your rules and routines. I adore plants and I’m happy to provide care for those as well. I am flexible and real, so I always try to be accommodating within reason.
“Rachel is just truly the best. We went on a week vacation while our kitty was going through chemo, and Rachel took fantastic care of her, kept her happy and healthy, and was a sweet snuggle buddy for her, and kept us up to date with photos every day. Couldn't recommend Rachel more highly.”

“Liz was great. Easy to book and communicate with and quickly resolved a confusion around the booking price and dates. She was responsive, sent updates of our dogs and left the place in perfect condition. I’ve already rebooked! Recommended.”

“Kaylee was fabulous house/pet sitting with our 2 dogs and 4 cats for four days. Followed instructions to the ‘T’ and went above beyond; very communicative and reassuring.”

“I'm very happy with Maggie who stayed at my home with two dogs and a cat for 3 days, 2 nights. She's obviously an animal lover and they all like her. My home looked great on my return and all the pets were happy. I am using Maggie again in the near future and am comfortable recommending her for overnight stays.”
Irving pet parents share their Rover experiences
Julia is a fantastic sitter! This is the second time I’ve worked with her but this was the first time she’s stayed overnight and it was a holiday! She’s so reliable, cares about your dogs and gives good updates and lots of pictures! She’s also very good at giving meds to a sometimes difficult dog and when my dog got an upset stomach, she communicated with me right away. I felt very comfortable leaving my babies with her!! We will definitely be working with Julia again!

Dani is amaaaaaazing. I have a super shy cat who I knew would most likely hide the whole time and a couple birds who live in my office/a separate room… and she was super flexible and helpful when I realized my cat might need more space and time to eat since she hides when new people are around without me there. Super kind, professional and a good person all around. In the middle of a move and even with boxes/my home in the stages of moving, Dani made everything so simple and seamless while I was gone. I so appreciate her and highly recommend this fabulous fur (& feathered) family professional!

We (and our cats) loved Felix! This was our first time using rover and our first time being away from our pets for a week but Felix helped ease any anxiousness. They sent us daily photo updates about our cats and provided us with updates on how they were reacting to having someone new in the house. When our toilet decided to act up Felix provided above and beyond service with patching it up until we got home. Our home was clean and our cats were cared for. Thanks again Felix!

We were so pleased with Cayla! We’ve tried a couple others through Rover but this has been the best so far. Cayla took incredible care of both the dogs and house. Her prompt communication was much appreciated. After our trip we immediately starting to plan out our summer needs with her because we would love to have her back.

This is the first time using Rover. Rhiana reached out before accepting and we did a meet and greet. Our three beagles felt comfortable with her right away. She was super responsive and communicative. We got texts everyday. She stayed longer each day than we expected. Our dogs enjoyed having her at the house. The pictures she sent proved it! I recommend her for anyone!

Had a great experience and all my animals (3 cats and 2 dogs) were well taken care of! My cat who usually needs time to love people was snuggling her within a couple of hours (to give uou an idea how good she is with animals). I will happily request and ideally only use Mathison in the future!

Auraleigha is by far one of the best experiences I have ever had on Rover. She was both very respectful of and lighthearted about my cat's particularities and he is a big diva- so, him being good after my absence says a lot about her caretaking abilities. Her communication style was responsive without being overly-detailed. On top of all of that, she took the time to clean up extra for my arrival home. 10/5 stars!
Abigail B. was a fantastic sitter. She loved my girls and they adored her. She left my home spotless, even washed and dried all the dishes and put them away and vacuumed the carpet. Bayleigh Boo brings in sticks and makes quite the mess. Way over my expectations, sent me lots of photos and let my girls sleep with her. They are bed hogs but she didn't seem to mind. I will definitely hire her again.

I almost can’t put in to words how truly exceptional Llewyn is at what they do. They went above and beyond my expectations as a first time rover user, and I couldn’t be happier and more thankful for the care provided to both my dog and home. I cannot recommend Llewyn enough to those reading this. Tremendous job.

Connor was exactly what I needed for the care of my senior dog and cat - he was great at communicating, especially when he wanted to check if my cat hiding for the first day was normal or if he should be worried, and sent photos of my pets while we were away. I absolutely would book Connor again!
